K'mih left the tent after her father, bowing quickly to the elders before rushing out. She trusted that her father would seek the medical attention he needed; that was why he'd allowed her to be the one warning the huntresses, wasn't it? And so she did, as quickly as she could. Albeit sometimes her message was rushed and nervous, the enemy's threat became clear. "Don't touch me!!" As the girl ran around the camp, K'yohko's harsh voice made her come to a halt suddenly. It sounded like nothing she'd heard. It scared her, for some reason. That was the second time the Nunh managed to freeze the blood inside K'mih's veins that day. Something simply wasn't right... was it the Amalj'aa presence?

What is the most appealing kind of character to you?
Clover replied to Enzo's topic in RP Discussion
That's actually what I initially wanted when I created my main character. A normal girl that would find herself involved in crazy things happening around her. The problem with that kind of character happens when nothing too remarkable actually happens *falls over*. Such was my case. In such a large community, important plots that actually make any change in the world seem to be reserved for FCs, in events which mostly take place in American timezones. Public events tend to be of the social kind (which are fun as well and I love them, but they don't really get characters involved in any plot). Alas, Clover hasn't developed much because she hasn't been involved in any sort of adventure. She's always there, doing her thing while nothing critical actually happens to change her world. (A Spanish friend is going to make a plot soon though. A real plot. So I guess Clover will finally have a story. I understand this kind of thing is best developed in small groups.) So yes, normal characters made to go with the flow also come with a risk. -
"Ugh I need to update my character's Wiki"
Clover replied to Berrod Armstrong's topic in RP Discussion
This is me as well *laughs*. I do update the wiki with the scenes my characters play, though. If I don't forget. -
Thank you for your replies! I've never had those items in my hands, so I didn't know the difference ^^ I'm glad they'll be obtainable by those like me who have no means to farm Coil 2 (sad as that makes me).

*Excited* (>_<)!! This reminds me that I must hurry up and complete the last books. orz Aaah, too many things to do! Edit: Please excuse my endless ignorance... Oil of time is what you need to turn the Weathered i100 equip into i110, right? What are the Sands of time for?

When I queue with K'nahli (which happens all the time now that we can roulette together), I've told him that he could commend the DPS and I could commend the tank. That way, everyone gets a commendation. He made a point, though, that sometimes players are too silent and careless, and don't deserve any commendation. So... I don't know, perhaps I should start commending whoever is the nicest. When I soloed dungeon, that's what I did. Whoever had taken a moment to say hello and goodbye got my commendation *laughs*.

I haven't noticed Clover treating boys and girls differently, but if I think about it, she's only made male friends so far *sweatdrops* (the only female friend she made hasn't reappeared after the Calamity, I guess because the player stopped playing that character early on). She is wary of male pirates, though, having spent a few years in Limsa Lominsa. K'mih... I think she doesn't make distinctions based on gender but based on roles and power. She respects her elders and gets along with other young miqo'tes. EDIT: A new thread? O_O Should I have posted there?

On the small table beside Clover's bed, there's a brief and forgotten letter no one will read. There are many things she could tell him, perhaps, but only one she wants to say. 'Dear Xydane, I hope you finally found the path that takes you home.'

Defenders of Eorzea - Patch 2.3 trailer + Promo site
Clover replied to allgivenover's topic in FFXIV News
I haven't been able to watch it yet, but here's the original version for people like me who can't stand playing the game dubbed. 7A57boh5hTQ Edit: Watched it! FGdfgfhgfhfg So excited about everything, especially the chocobo and the final bit O_O My miqo'te friend F'yue's going to be very happy about that. Nightwear is great, some of the new armours looked interesting, though I couldn't see much. I'm disappointed at the lack of new hairstyles, though. Aren't they actually going to add any? ;_; In any case, it'll be a very nice patch. -
This. Agree completely. I love everyone's screenshots! But the second I see Clover's I get all *squeeeee!!* They are really gorgeous shots. Mine....well I struggle just to keep myself in the shot. :frustrated: ;A;! Thank you very much! It always makes me very happy whenever someone notices my screens. Also, I love this kind of edit, very good job! Not just the edit, though. I love screens that are full of emotions.

What is the most appealing kind of character to you?
Clover replied to Enzo's topic in RP Discussion
Ah, just a note. I love mundane characters (I play those myself, most of the time), but powerful and non mundane characters are very good to get others into plots. I used to play in an Aion RP server where, one day, the GMs decided that making super powerful characters would be forbidden. The result? Nothing happened any longer because everyone was normal *laughs*. Variety is a key factor in my opinion, so I find both kinds of characters are necessary ^^ -

What's important to me is that the character feels alive and makes sense. So long as those remain true, I should enjoy RPing with them. -

Eyes open and lips slightly parted. The image of the Ixal in the distance didn't get much of a visible reaction from Clover. Everything happened inside, as if the world had come to a halt and time had stopped. But time hadn't, and neither did the beasts. Her paralysis only lasted until a friendly hand grabbed her, effectively pulling her out of sight. Another hand covered to her voiceless mouth right after, as if there had been any sound there. In such an unfamiliar proximity, Clover had become a pair of unblinking eyes, windows that hid a hurricane of thoughts behind. She couldn't see the scene from her position, but she could see him. The look in his face was one she'd seen before. Ah, her heart was beating fast; she noticed. Andre voiced his suggestion then. They should simply hide there and let the Ixal have their way with the rest of the travellers. What would happen then? Death? Torture? Clover lacked mental images for that kind of situation, but she'd seen blood before. The mere sight had felt completely wrong, just like the look in Andre's eyes as he took another glance at the scene and gasped. Wrong. Wrong. "Andre..." she whispered his name now that his grip on her mouth had loosened. Her wide open eyes lingered on his, on everything she was seeing there. She was scared, that was a noticeable fact, but she still managed to remain composed. "If we cannot fight them on our own, we should try to run to Gridania and inform the Twin Adder about this."

Hahahaha *amused*. Very nice edits, Delacroux! Some of my screens: I love this head piece on K'mih. Clover. And a look I might glamour in the future. I really need to make her join the Twin Adder ICly (>_<

Andre's voice barely registered at that moment. The girl kept running with her back turned to him, eyes fixed on the black cat she was following. So focused on that single task she was that neither did she notice the small, treacherous rock that made her trip over. It only took her two seconds, perhaps, to prevent her own falling, and that had been enough to lose sight of the cat. She stopped running then. As the hyur quickly scanned her surroundings and caught her breath, her friend finally reached her. "Andre..." Clover said when she saw him, and albeit she was the last person who should look confused at that moment, she actually did. The next words had the same disappointment that were found in her eyes as they travelled to the side. "I'm sorry, I thought I'd seen something important..." She'd left the carriage, left everyone else with a task she should be performing herself. All because of nothing. "I'm sorry," she repeated after sorting her thoughts, looking at him. Neither her voice nor her eyes were pitiful, or sad, or full of guilt. That was simply a serious and honest sound.

Brainstorm for Episodic rp event ((Poll up for getting best of the week))
Clover replied to Askier's topic in RP Discussion
Aah, this sounds really interesting! I have a male hyur who is supposed to belong to the Flames, and this would give me a chance to play him in a real plot. I wonder if he could participate? ^^ I'm wary of posting my availability in case no more characters are allowed. I'm playing safe and asking first. In any case, this is a very good idea! Good job. -
When Andre turned his head to Clover, he met with eyes that had been silently observing him, perhaps for a while, as he’d stretched his shoulders. The girl answered his question with a simple nod. Now that he was ready too, she went ahead of him and hurried to the front side of the carriage, where the debris was. Acting as a barrier in the middle of the path, there was a bunch of rocks and branches. None of them seemed too large, but together they posed a real obstacle for the poor chocobos. Clover started by grabbing one of the long branches. It was heavy for someone like her, but she still managed to lift it. She walked with it to the side of the road, clumsily enough to almost hit anyone with it by accident. As she dropped it to the ground, a familiar voice that only she could hear made her stop every movement. “Clover…! Clover…!” Abruptly, she raised her head in the direction of the sound. He was standing between some trees down the hill, staring at her with his huge, unblinking eyes. No one else seemed to be able to see or hear that little black cat, likely because he didn’t even exist. And yet, his presence was always alarming in Clover’s mind; real or not, she’d always pursue him. She had to. “Clover, follow me, quickly!” With no explanations whatsoever, the girl started running downhill toward the trees, her eyes glued to something invisible. “Wait…” she’d whisper, barely a breath, when the cat ran as well. He took her away from the carriage, away from everyone she was supposed to help.

Ohh, I love this topic!! I actually have seiyuus added to my character's wikis. I tend to take a long time finding any suitable seiyuu for my characters, but I had it crystal clear in FFXIV: Sakamoto Maaya for Clover, hands down. I can't find any character she has voiced who might speak exactly like my character, but I know Maaya's "normal girl" ring is perfect for her. I only have this song that might suit Clover. SesuV9VirnA Tamura Yukari for K'mih. Her adorable voice is just so perfect and can sound very innocent. Here's a compilation roles; I guess K'mih would be most similar to Nanoha (4:43) (?). j01tgHmG__c

Traveling around Eorzea had always been a game of chance. Sometimes, the trip would go smoothly and without mishaps. It didn't seem to be the case today, though there was still hope for this small delay to be the only incident. Whatever would happen, it was a small adventure already, a new trip to remember. "I'll help too," the female hyur said, standing up to jump her way out of the caravan without asking for Andre's approval. She wasn't very strong physically, but perhaps there might be anything she could do. Anything was better than simply waiting for others to do all the work.

If only were both played in a better timezone, then K'nahli and I could join the main group as BRD and WHM >_

The Tia grabbed the collapsed man's arms, ready to take him inside with the stranger's help. His expression was all kinds of unfriendly; he even avoided eye contact like he did with K'nahli when they carried K'luha. Just a moment ago, he'd told the stranger that he wasn't needed, yet Azeyma seemed to enjoy humiliating him today... Careful not to trip inside the tent, K'rahto and Li managed to place the bleeding man on the ground, next to K'tahjha and K'luha. He used the chance to take a quick glance at the injured woman, trying to assess her state. She didn't look good. That was all he allowed himself to see, for he didn't want to make her uncomfortable with stares. "Unless you need anything else, I'll be outside," he told his elder sister K'zhumi, serious.
-
It was like she already knew what he'd say. Andre had always been a very humble hyur, always trying to hide from any sort of recognition. Even with his side open from an Ixal's blade, he'd still try to reassure everyone that he'd done nothing worth mentioning. That day, Clover did nothing but heal his wounds, while he bled for every passenger in the carriage. And yet... (Andre will always be Andre.) Her smile didn't disappear just yet. She looked at him for another moment, silent, before her gaze returned to the green scenery of the Black Shroud. If she hadn't met Andre that time, perhaps she wouldn't be traveling today. "It was a good day in the end," she added afterwards, and said nothing more.

"W-woah!" K'rahto had been surprised at the sight of an oddly familiar and very injured miqo'te approaching their tent, but he was even more when said miqo'te collapsed on him. The man was taller and bulkier than him, and having that weight fall on him so suddenly made him almost lose his balance. Luckily for his pride, he managed to hold the man's unconscious body without falling himself. "K'zhumi!!" He raised his voice for his sister to hear him from inside the tent, frowning deeply as he supported the weight. He really hoped his sister could take care of everyone. At the same time. And somehow, his eyes couldn't help but to glare at the stranger who'd been offering his help.
