I might have gotten someone for this spot or at least to get the character back on track anyway. If things don't work out I let the other couple that replied know. ^^ thanks all for the support.

So with the idea of me returning to the game I come with my issue of the character needed medical attention to carry out the story or excuse to her prolonged absence from her usual locations.. I can go into further details on this if someone is interested in trying to work something together with me. Mainly I am either looking for one of two things.. either a healer or mender of sorts as a sort of run in encounter or maybe a well known enough medical center to sort of drop in at or some how manage to get to. Either will do with my idea but where I had been gone from the game a while I have no idea what is still around or not in the community. ^^;

Not sure i'm concerned with getting into a group or not.. I'm sure I can find something and my character is one of those what comes up comes out. :3 I found rp easy enough before I just was too lazy to really follow through with it I think..

I might toy at the idea cause I'd have to buy the xpack and the month time. That's a bit of money to just drop to chance it. Though it is good to see the rp side of things is still going strong. I've jumped quite a few games from when I played FF last.. I do admit most rp communities are not that.. er welcoming let alone friendly. My husband wouldn't be coming back with me so I'd probably have to find a new FC (odds are not in favor that I am still in whatever one I was in.. that I forget whatever one I was in..). I might prod about the FC section and see if I can't talk myself into this and start off with a idea of what I plan to do in the game. I've done a few of the free to play weekends and weeks they promote with but I never played more then a day during these periods.. Oh question.. given how long ago I stopped playing how would it be to catch up on gear? This includes the combat classes and crafting.

Given I have a few friends still bugging me and pleading for me to return to the game and I have read a number of reviews and watched some vids I figured it was time to bother some of the community that I use to be apart of for their thoughts. Now odds are most don't remember me nor my character so coming back I would only have to explain to a select few where she was all this time and why or what happened. To the question.. is it worth coming back to the game? I do admit I miss the rp and I miss my character, not to mention the community but is the game as a whole worth it? I grew bored with all of the gated content before and the fact that I seemed unable to find a group to get progression done.. I played a little bit like one day worth of the free to play week or something way back when they first released the gold saucer but that was hardly a good reason fro me to stop throwing money at a monthly fee again. =/ Just really asking what people have enjoyed or not enjoyed with the expansion. Maybe some changes that came to the game even. I have already read that if I did come back I'd have quite a few hours of story quests to catch up on.. while a bit of a bummer I've also heard that the story is very much worth it.

Plenty.. There is a ton of things I wish I could go take back for the character but whats done is done. Actually I think what ic I regret more is that the character tends to stand back a bit due to my own limitations. A lot of times I know for a fact that the character would be all loud mouth and say what ever comes up. I don't do this enough and I think it gives the wrong impression of the character over all.. (even if sometimes it's not my fault and real life seems to crop up at the worse times).

What kind of stories has your character gotten into? What didn't she get involved in.. from being a temp captain all the way to being a pirate for a short time. All the while she was trying to avoid being dragged away from her work.. the more she tried to keep to her own the more people seemed to seek her out. How has your character changed since you rolled them (Or if you have been here since the beginning, since 2013)? A lot actually.. the character was planned to be male but finding a more entertaining edge it turned into the name being more of a muse or cover up rather then the character ever actually being a male in the first place. Over all I think the character is more well rounded then I planned. Maybe a bit more social as well. What has been your favorite RP moment this year? This is easy; I still fondly think back on some of my early rp sessions back when I was having the character dress as a male so to speak. Though this lead to rather entertaining situations later on when her true gender was found out. Pretty sure still no one has really bothered to question this.. not sure why. What was the most shocking RP moment this year? Probably being dragged into some off the wall events. I can't put my finger on one at the moment but I know the character was dragged out of her nice little shop and away from her blacksmith work more times then I could count. Normally to train someone as a Mrd ..not sure why folks seemed to seek my character out for Mrd training.. sure she had it but it wasn't like she was a master or anything. Has your character made any mistakes? Plenty, there were a lot of times where I could have kicked my own character. Like thinking to myself to just speak up or you are better then that. I think a lot of the times it was situations that were pretty far out of the character's hands no matter what I wanted at the time. What was the most surprising thing you found out about your character? Apparently she knows more people then I even knew. The character turned more into a sort of go to character or support for any situation character. Without even meeting most of the folks I've rp'ed with she would still be there to lend support or offer honest and probably blunt advice if asked. What relationships did your character build? Eh.. plenty of friends, plenty that up and vanished too. Most seemed to stick around for one or two meetings and were never seen again. Any relationships that fell apart? Have to form a solid relationship for it to have a chance to fall apart so to speak. What was your favorite large-scale event and why? Can I admit I don't think I was involved in any large scale events? Life rather got in the way of this and I didn't want to hold anyone back. What was your favorite smaller-scale event and why? Probably a ic meeting back when my character was forced into a sort of captain role. This was back early in the year so the character was still posing as a male. I sadly don't remember what all was said but it ended in a staring contest between a wildwood and a duskwight and someone making some joke how if the tow got married it would be the best relationship because they would never fight. Of course seeing as both were female character mine shifted a little uncomfortably at the thought and almost slipped up on protesting too much. What are you looking most forward to seeing in the future with your characters growth and story? I'm not honestly sure. I sort of have learned to take things as they come along. I really could wrap my character's personal side story or plot at any time I wanted. Thus I get more enjoyment just going along for the ride and seeing where I end up. ^^

Maybe ignoring my present mess of a wiki that I need to tend to now that I seem to be back.. My character is considered to be from Ishgard though her family moved there some time ago so they are not so to say native. Would love to get back into the game and right off the bat get in touch with other Ishgardians. ^^ Bit of side information that may or may not be important is that presently the character stays mainly in Limsa but tends to travel about for business. Limsa seems to be a bit out of the way for most thus I keep it rather open to having excuses to meet up in various locations.

Felt a bit of a need to post here given I took a bit of a extended break from the game and thus any and all editing I was doing in my character wiki was pushed to the side or more or less forgotten about. Now I just feel so far behind in what I need to update.. *sigh*

I'd say if you don't think her story is ready to end just yet figure a way around it. It was mentioned to have her holed up somewhere for a while and come back after some time has passed. I don't play with alts either so I know how the thought process is of killing your one character off. In past rp's I have killed main characters off but they normally had a good reason or their death carried an importance to the story. In a few cases it seemed to give the story new life even and a fresh main character or set of main characters. With being in a similar boat as you with having only one character .. I find myself every once in a while asking if I should write up something and just end the character. Mainly being that the direction I wanted the character to grow didn't seem to come to pass. Really as more time goes on I feel like I know the character less and less. Though also unlike your character.. I think I would only have to answer to maybe a handful of people who would bother to find out if something happened or not. But back on topic; like I said.. if you feel there is more to be had with the character then try to pull through or plan out something with the other person. I'm all for being realistic but there is also a matter of your own enjoyment with the game and stories. Also I guess the real answer here.. sure I'd perma death if it was me in that situation. I have my reasons behind it, some ic and some not. My character isn't a top notch fighter so it wouldn't be too unrealistic to receive a fatal wound.

You and a little Lalafell I know would get along well. I swear all she does is cook food... I don't help the issue as I keep sending her more ingredients for it. >w

Well... we aren't endangered.. I think well hidden or shy is a good term. Not that either seems to be a issue in the ever chatty LS. ^^

I think Aya was working on or thinking about her character dabbling in tech. But you would have to take it up with her. Sadly I don't think I could be of use to your character ^^; just a smithy, don't go messing around with all that complicated stuff (minus requests for making certain parts xP).

Rather amused seeing as a small group of my friends started our server back up after the last update. Sadly not sure if I could warrant playing on two servers and FF >_< I already fail pretty bad at trying to focus enough to build on one server. On the note of the rabbits though... there is a chance that some are after your blood. D; Don't say I didn't warn you.

My hubby was gonna get it but he's kinda debating if he's going to bother. Odds are launch will be on the bad side like most mmo's tend to be. Plus he was complaining he has so many other games to play. I'm trying to hold off to see if they decide to launch it on the PC sometime =/ I would have loved to play at launch with the hubby and our friends but not worth the investment to get a 2nd console just to do so.. Kind of a shame though cause it looks amazing and we tested it out during the beta and I admit it was pretty fun (saying something because I'm not a huge space/scifi fan).

Maybe if they release more lore or open Ishgard the LS will become useful again. Kinda sad I was a bit too busy to really partake in much besides a few meetings ^^; Though on that note... I need to poke you in game so I can toss the old LS. xP

Well the teen or kid or what not didn't have to be a street rat or anything. Just figured that might be the easier or more played role for kids (calamity and all I do remember somewhere reading a thread about outcasts or those who were orphaned). Also no worries on your times and such. ^^ I kinda have random times myself due to two little ones. Though I'd love to message you more about the character if you were interested. Can't say she'd get many tales though maybe tall ones but the character tends to avoid putting her neck on the line when she's given the option.

C'kayah - we should talk I should probably message you now that I had a moment to read this thread. K'nahil - it would be noteworthy enough. It's a bit of a different twist I had in mind for it. My character wouldn't be the typical target that is overly powerful in a fight. I'll for sure write out some details and message you. :3 edit: also updating the first post just so I don't make a new thread with another idea I've been toying at for a while.

Because I never bothered to make a thread like this before and I finally find myself with free time and in need of something to spend said time on... here is my proposal. First being.. I'm willing to make just normal connections, almost welcome. My character isn't really anti social she just doesn't go out to seek random strangers without some cause (even something small as a repair request will do). Yes my wiki on the character is more or less correct, the only common knowledge or important information is that she commonly stays in Limsa and is fairly talented with a hammer. Anything else you can read the small novel of a wiki I have and that I need to revive or just ask me. Now my other purpose of this thread.. due to some finger pointing and probably a lot of wrong place at the wrong time there is some rumors that float around about the character that could land her in trouble. This being said she also hails from Ishgard and would be considered an exile more or less.. maybe a lack of better terms. I'd love to get a hold of a bounty hunter or maybe someone who is into the business of trying to silence Exiles. I can provide more information on this if you are interested. So I'll stop rattling on now and provide information as I'm asked for it. ^^; ~~~~~~ part two of the title: Been toying at the idea of taking some street rat under her wing for a while. Like either some brat (or teen really) that either is getting into trouble or tries to pickpocket the character. Or a number of other options are really out there for this. More or less it was a plan I had for the character and I have reasons as to why she can't / never will have kids of her own so... Though for this I am leaving it open to being in game or on the forums. I don't think too many run about as teens or kids in the game.

I kinda assumed most if not all chocobos were male unless you had some sort of connection to land you a female. Going off what lore on breeding that I recall reading some time back. Is that what the lore on the berries or whatever? I haven't had the time to really check and the FC I am in doesn't have a house so all of the features revolving around dying your chocobo is kind of locked to me. Not to mention the horror stories of the cost of the items used to change the color.. never bothered to look them up on the market. I kinda get the vision of someone force feeding these poor birds till they get the color they want (i think someone made a small comic about that actually). Probably how we got fat chocobos. <3

So I'm sure this has been questioned or answered in some other thread and I simply over looked it.. but this thought has been on my mind for a few days. Not 1005 sure on the lore behind dyes other than they are mentioned with the black chocobo chick that it was dyed. My mind is a bit stuck on past FF games where the colors stood for a type. This being said how exactly do you handle colored chickens? Personally I was thinking of dying my own bird. My issue is that I use Zeek in my rp from time to time. So i was trying to wrap my head around either just writing it off as the chocobo always being that color or actually go the route of dying or feeding it certain things led up to the color change. Personally dying an animal sounds a bit cruel to me but what do I know. I'm more leaning towards the latter after watching a documentary on island animals and one happened to be a type of bird that had feathers that were a vibrate red from the shellfish it ate. But enough from me, just wanted to see what others had done (if anything) to handle their birds changing color. ^^

Not sure if it is or not. I've been kinda busy since my last post and it seems a few others have been asking if this is still around as well. Maybe try to track some of the folks down in game to see if it is about.

On the note of the two clans... I don't think I've actually seen anyone (least with encounters I've had) treat one clan or the other differently. Was personally expecting it. Figured it could prove entertaining or least an addition to story. Maybe I just haven't crossed paths with the right folks yet (though.. staying in Limsa mostly I have noticed most stray away from the expected norm). >->
