There's a well written post on the official forums on these housing costs: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/127656-An-Open-Letter-to-Yoshida-san-Please-Slice-One-Zero-Off-the-Housing-Prices I think we RPers should definitely voice our support for this. Because as it stands, I don't see too many FC's on Balmung even getting an FC house. It's a shame too. A really fantastic feature and it right now will see little if any use. What a waste!
-
Unfortunately because of the price for Balmung, Ul'dah Garden will be unable to ever buy a house. I am very disappointed in SE on this decision.
-
Me, I utilize in game time to simulate time passage. But I use multiple routes of travel. I can travel by land via mount, by sea via ship/ferry, and occasionally by air via the airship. Oh and I also will utilize the Aetherways via aetherytes as well. But I don't tend to be literal with my travel times. Whatever time passes in game is what I will count.

I will see if I can make it

I'm not against the sleep animation at all. In fact I love the animation miqo'te are getting. I just happen to agree with Square Enix's policy to try to keep inappropriate stuff out of the game world, and more into private player housing. Lord of the Rings Online when it first came out, didn't have housing. And there were instances of finding ERPers in inn rooms and such. Once player housing came out though, the considerate ERPers moved to player housing. SE's limiting the emote to player housing, shouldn't be viewed as something bad. If anything it is just a bundled extra added in with the player housing area. It's exclusive to player housing as an extra. But at the same time, you and I both know if this emote was usable anywhere, the inconsiderate ERPers would be using it in public view. So in that regard I do agree with SE's call here. The fact is, they wouldn't need to make this call, if people were considerate of others. Maybe one day in the future the emotes will unlock for anywhere, but right now, erring on the cautious side isn't a bad thing considering how new and how popular ARR is right now.

Here is how I see things. The game isn't an M rated title. But it does have some adult content that mostly is tongue in cheek. Allow me to clarify: The Pugilist Guildmaster when you first meet him thinks you are his assistant that he sent off with a proposition to some dancers. He even got excited when the questline led to the forgotten springs because he enjoys watching the girls frolic and giggle as they bathe. There is also the Blacksmith Guildmaster, who bluntly says to female characters he doesn't really care if they are some wife who cuckheld her husband, or just some adventurer, Blacksmiths are all equals. And then there's the one fate where we escort the courtesan along Costa Del Sol's beach to her customer. End of that fate, the Male Roegadyn runs her to his house and we see nothing more. This allows the game to have a T rating right now. And it has adult humor and text, but isn't subjecting you to pornographic imagery. However in my experiences, ERPers who aren't considerate of others, will bluntly put on a spectacle in the middle of crowds. Square Enix is giving this new emote as part of the housing package, but limiting it to player housing, so as to not give these inconsiderate ERPers more ways to subject other people to their imagery. And at least Square Enix is doing something to address this disgusting display. It is more than can be said for Blizzard who not only ignored the moon guard situation, but decided to subject all their other roleplay servers to it as well. Me, I find ERP to be disgusting personally, and will never participate in it. But the considerate ones who will take it to private housing are alright. But either way Square Enix is trying to protect their games image. Blaming Square Enix for being forced to take a hard line on people who ERP in the publics eye, is putting the blame on the wrong party. Want to point fingers? Point at the ones who get a kick out of public displays. Square Enix created a solution, to a problem created by a certain niche in the player community. Maybe if this sort of behavior didn't exist to begin with, the emote would be available to the rest of Eorzea. The problem though does exist. And as long as it exists, then anything to help keep the game from degrading into that steaming pile of crap that is world of warcraft, has my support. That's all I really got to say on this subject now.
-
Ugh come on, don't you ever have ANY compliments for square? I happen to think the emote is great. And I can agree to their wanting to limit it to housing, out of view of the public. Seriously, I played world of warcraft for 8 years. The server Moon Guard was especially bad and when they cross realm zoned all the damn servers, every single inn in every single town became ERP central with people putting themselves into inappropriate positions on beds and tables. So I can agree with this policy. Don't like the emote. Don't use it. Don't like that they are trying to keep the game world clean of ERP trash, get over it. ERP in personal housing, fine, let em have at it, as long as the rest of us don't see it.

Epilogue K'ailia was to say the least, grossed out at her mother's casual telling of her relationship with her father. It only served to reaffirm her commitment to herself. She will never mate. The two otherwise, had a civil meal together, before K'ailia left for Vesper Bay, where she charted a boat ride to Limsa Lominsa and traveled to Red Rooster Stead where the healer happened to be. She met one of her closest friends, Kinra Zhwan and Qata'to Jinjahl. And all agreed, times were changing. Miqo'te were starting to drift away from Tribal Communities to become part of the greater community that is Eorzea. Though she will look back on her growing up years in the tribe fondly, K'ailia was no longer part of the tribe. But she would wear the K in her name proudly as a remembrance of where she came from. For her, a new life had begun. One she hoped her mother would eventually come around to accepting. Her story within the tribe was now over. But the story of K'ailia, the White Mage was just beginning....
-
K'ailia accepted the help up, "I think you will have your hands full with K'tahjha... but if you want to mate... my father is as you said, the only active Nuhn." She paused a moment inspecting the bandage, "Nice job with the bandage... I heard there's a healer in La Noscea. Your patchwork should hold till I get it treated more professionally" she offered her mother a smile. "Just... don't mate with K'ile. He has no interest in being a nuhn, and quite frankly I can find no respect for one who said things he said, and drew his weapon on me. There are far better males to choose from ma." she said looking at her mother. "I just want you to be happy, but in my heart, I know K'ile will be incapable of doing that." she gave a sly smile, "Of course you could always join me here in Garden. Times are changing. Many Miqo'te are starting to drift away from tribal communities and work with all the people of Eorzea to make our homes safe and secure." Motioning to the doorway, "Come on, lets go have lunch at the Quicksand. Maybe we might even see K'piru there, who knows."
-
K'ailia smiled letting her mother inspect the damage. "Alright ma... I may of changed... but I am still inside, the same. If you want to ask me questions, anything, I will gladly answer it... ow!" as the hand was inspected. She sat still, trying to relax herself using meditation techniques learned from her Conjurer training. Once she was calmed she looked at her mother, "You don't need to worry about Ventus taking me away. No one will take me away from you. I just... can't be in the tribe. I am too much of a stranger in the tribe. And even if I did want to come back, which I don't, I wouldn't be permitted." She smiled looking about her dorm room, "This room now looks a lot like my old home. Wouldn't you agree?"
-
K'ailia's ears flatted against her head, "I was not trying to be disrespectful mother... But I was having concerns. I just don't trust him." K'ailia slammed a fist into the wall, and the tell tell feeling of pain told her she'd need to heal herself in a bit, "Why is it we keep having fights? Ever since that first day I tried to tell you my feelings, we been fighting almost non-stop...." Finally she cringed and grabbed her sore fist, "I already know my own problem... I love you so deeply it hurts. And the dealings with the tribe for me has been a mess because I couldn't find where I'd fit in. And on top of that, I have a seething hatred of K'ile..." With tears forming in her eyes she looked to her mother, "But something has been bothering you, to the point you are always angry and was constantly running away from us during the scouting mission. In fact you had been running away from a lot of things of late... ma... I am worried about you. But I don't know how I can help you at all..." She looked at hand, then felt her knuckles, and instantly cringed, at least two fractures, "I just don't know how to mend your hurt... I don't want you to leave my life. I am not above you, and I never will be..." She looked back at her mother, "If I had wanted you out of my life I never would of given you that pearl... I just have a feeling he would try to take it from you... and my new sister..." She sank to the floor, "And now... I need my mommy... ow ow ow..." she said gripping her right hand.
-
K'ailia nodded then, "I am sorry you feel that way... And while yes, he cannot force me to mate, the fact he said he'd try should of been dealt with then and there. But you and Haali just stood there, seeming to not care." She pushed herself off her desk, "K'ile is a dangerous tia. Before you even had my decision to leave the tribe he had pointed his spear at me. I don't know what your relationship is with him, but you two give off signs of going against tribal traditions. You were one of K'yohko's mate. I suspect he does not like father, and would seek ways to get at him. He could well be using you mother." She walked over to her bed and pulled out her clothes and moved to her dresser stuffing them in, "Ventus is no longer a threat. I have gotten to the bottom of what was going on and everything is alright now. In fact... he said he cared about you, and regretted deeply what happened. Even vowed to spend every waking moment trying to repent for his actions." Closing the dresser up she turned back to the bed, only her bag remained. It, she pinned to the wall, her new dorm room now looked to be a mix of Garden and Tribe. "If you feel you must break all communication with me off... I will understand. It will hurt, but know I will be alright. I will not cause you or the tribe anymore trouble." she turned back to look at her mother. "But if you wish to keep in contact, know that K'ile will try to find a way to sever contact with me. And should he fail, your place in the tribe could be in jeopardy. And if not yours... then he'd probably try severing things... on my end. Either way... I suspect you may be forced to choose who you value more. The tribe and K'ile, or your child." she finished.
-
K'ailia frowned at the lack of response but continued on as she continued decorating the desk, "When we returned to the tribe, I felt like a stranger in the camp. I kept feeling like I did not belong..." She pulled from her bag some tribal hanging decorations and begun pinning them on the wall, "I thought maybe if I thought up a solution to the tribes problems, I'd find a place in the tribe I belonged... But the ideas were so alien to the tribe, the only ones even willing to hear them out was you and K'mana." She turned and sat on the edge of the desk, "In a single instant of leaving the tribe, and experiencing the outside world, I became a stranger to the tribe... And I do not think going to any other city-state would of changed that..." She sighed looking at the ground, "When we were on the scouting mission and K'ile said that you guys could not even mold me into a proper tribemate... I had knew then that I truly was a stranger to the tribe. And when I made the offer to learn from K'ile, and he told me to think twice because he'd make me mate, I realized, my only use to the tribe, to him at least, is to spread my legs and pump out kits." She shook her head, "I will never mate. I will never look on a male with desires. I have no interest in any form of relationship of that nature. My only desire is to find where I belong... and I do not belong in the tribe..." She looked to her mother, for any sign of the person she loved, who was there for every hurt she suffered, for the warmth she felt when she had a bad dream after the calamity. Was that loving mother still there?
-
K'ailia smiled and led her mother through the Garden, until at last, they came to her quaint quarters. "This is it. It's small... but I will not forsake tribe traditions. I am still one of Azeyma's children", she said, as she pulled her bedroll out and spread it over her bed's matress, before dumping the remainder of her belongings onto the bed. Pausing she motioned to the dresser then grabbed up the things left to her by K'piru and started setting them up onto her desk. "I know an apology wont fix the hurt. But we both made mistakes..." she said as she set some candles up. "When we left for Gridania when I failed my trials, that was when everything changed..." She looked to her mother with a sad look, "And I think in your own heart, you knew things were going to change... didn't you?"
-
K'ailia took the bag and smiled and quickly placed a hand on K'luha's shoulder "Wait ma. I'm sorry about yelling at you a while back" K'ailia took a deep breath, "I'm actually happy you are willing to keep in contact with me. The whole, they are dead when they leave the tribe, is just stupid. I am very much alive. I am very much your daughter." With a smile she motioned to the entryway, "Wanna help me decorate my dorm room? I actually am happy you brought my bedroll"
-
K'ailia flattened her ears against her head under her mothers scolding. And they remained there once her mother turned her attention to Torvhan. And when K'ile chimed in practically screaming foul, K'ailia had seen enough. Quietly she slipped away from the group and went down the hallway they had already passed through and found herself back in the main lobby. She was furious. But throughout it all she could tell Torvhan's emotions were far more collected than her own. But she already knew the tribes answers by now. After more walking she found herself in the Training Center. Here she would release her anger on the poor unsuspecting target dummies. She unleashed a torrent of wind that began making cuts all over several of the dummies, and followed up with sending bits of earth up before herself and punching them into the groin areas of the dummies. K'ailia growled and spoke to herself, "One reason... just one reason is all I'd need to ensure K'ile's line ends with him..." as she looked at each of the training dummies now broke in half where the groin area would of been.

It had been about a week since her confrontation with her mother and K'ile. It felt good to finally be free. Only thing she was sad about really was that her Stone spell towards K'ile's genitalia was blocked by her mother. But that issue was now behind her. She'd picked out one of the nicest single bed dorms. Small and quaint as it was, it had only a single bed, a small narrow dresser and a desk and chair. But it was barren. Nothing was personalized in the dorm. Something she was excited, would change that today. So she dressed in her garden uniform, minus the bandana and exited her dorm room. She walked through the hallways, into the main lobby and soon found herself in the cafeteria. Seemed omelets was on the menu this morning. So she sat down, ate, drank milk which she for some reason, really enjoyed. With tummy full, it was time to go outside to await for her mother. She was due to bring her things today. She'd already organized the supplies this week in the infirmary and was even reading up on traditional non-magical healing practices and techniques. But she also wanted to personalize the infirmary as well. Which is why she made sure to ask for the things left to her by K'piru. Exiting the garden, she took a spot near a fountain and waited. She was looking forward to seeing her mother again. http://i.imgur.com/AQT8MSj.png[/img]

No, I don't think I am. We asked for a /sleep or /laydown equivalent, and what do we get instead? An adjustment to the /doze emote (which I'm pretty sure is safe to say will be temporary, just as the regular /doze is) which, for miqo'te at least, can't possibly be used to mimic sleeping. They could have easily taken the animation that already exists, but Squee's so paranoid of "innappropriate images" (maybe they shouldn't put the miqo'te girl in a bikini while posing, the hypocrites) being made with the emote that we get some watered down version bound by arbitrary restrictions. Except you seem to be stuck on the idea that this is a /sleep animation. And despite what might be believed, this would be considered a laying down animation. Laying down isn't always on ones back or side. And this new doze, is described as relaxing: And again look at the races stereotypes. Lalafell have very childlike animations. How does a child look when they are relaxing? Just like that lalafell. And the only ones saying SE is paranoid about inappropriate image are certain players. Ever think maybe they looked at the stereotype their races are based off of to get the animation for this emote? They obviously aren't afraid of sexual content. They've got the blacksmithing guild's guildmaster accusing female chars who join up for the first time of cuckolding their husbands for crying out loud! And don't forget the courtesan fate in costa del sol. I think if you still want a sleeping emote, should keep petitioning SE for one. But this, this most definitely is no sleeping emote. It is a relaxing one. And judging by the postures, no it's not going to be a "temporary" animation. I suspect it will work much like /sit does.
-
Naunet, aren't you taking this viewpoint a bit to the extreme though? As mentioned, each race has its own stereotype, the Lalafell are portrayed in their emotes and actions, as childlike, yet there are very mature lalafell in game. And he lalafell version of this new emote, is no different. What do children look like when they are exhausted? Usually just like the one portrayed in the screenshot. Miqo'te are your stereotypical teenage anime cat girl. Look at their /pose as well as all their other emotes. How do anime teenage girls usually relax? Usually in that pose. You seem hooked on the idea that those /doze emote is a sleep one. But even the blog post was fairly careful in its wording. Lalafell is relaxing. Miqo'te is relaxing. It's not the end of the world. Continue to RP the character as you want. In fact if you really want a /sleep emote, keep pressing it on Square. Again, this emote seems more like a /relax than a sleep one. I am sure the hyurs will get a stereotypical animation. Same with Roes and Elezen. Elezen are portrayed as graceful and sexy. They even sit side saddle on a unicorn. I suspect their female version of this emote would probably look something similar to this: http://img.portwallpaper.com/imgwal/eva-mendes17806.jpg[/img] Hell Roegadyns are pretty gruff in their emotes. Their female I could see laying around a lot like Toph from Avatar: Overall, I definitely think the resting emote will fit the Miqo'te quite well. It's very stereotypical for the race and what they are based around. Sometimes, just have to look beyond the emotes you don't like and work with what you got. And the race is your stereotypical fantasy anime teenage cat girls.
-
I for one adore the miqo'te resting emote. They aren't asleep. They are just laying in bed resting. Now if they made a /sleep emote, yeah I can see laying down like when we are logging out at the inn. If anything I think /doze[1] should be /relax instead.

http://i.imgur.com/tzMmakB.png[/img] Nashu Relanah layed into her bed of the inn. She'd just had a long day training with her father and was beat. And it was not long before the dream began... She found herself in an outcropping in the Black Shroud. The moon shined upon her, and looking at it, she see's a shape forming... a large creature with wings... it was the dragon that visits her every dream. But this was no ordinary dragon either. Its scales were white as the moon, eyes were golden. The creature landed before Nashu and looked down upon her. "Hello again Blessed one of Menphina.", it said in a very feminine voice. Nashu looked upon it, "My mother and father say you are bad. Why do you haunt me so?" The dragon smiled, "Because you are blessed by Menphina. You and I are destined to become one." And with that, the dream began shifting... showing her, her past... Starting seven years ago... she see's herself, a littler kit than she is now, learning from her sister to use a spear. "From the moment you first started learning that skill, we were destined." spoke the dragon. Nashu frowned, "But all my family learned to use the spear. None of them were destined!" The scene then shifted... two years ago, to the grisly scene of the Ixal storming over her families home, slaughtering her mother, sisters, even her father. Of the thirteen year old Nashu, dropping her spear and running away into the shroud. Nashu covered her eyes, "Stop! I don't want to see this!" The dragon moved her hands away from her eyes, "And it was this day, that I knew was right to approach you in your dreams. You want revenge. You want to slaughter the Ixal. I can make that happen Blessed one." Nashu shut her eyes shaking her head, "No! Mother says revenge is bad! Father says if I get your eye you'd destroy me!" The scene fades and again she is back in the outcropping in front of the dragon, "You will become one with me. We will go forth and destroy all Ixal. We will destroy even Garuda, their primal." And that was when Nashu sat up in bed, fully awake and breathing hard. She now knew... her mother and father were right. The dragon does seek to absorb her. But how to end the dream? She will have to ask her father when next he is awake.

K'ailia walked along the hallway with her tribemates. She was showing them that Garden wasn't as bad as they thought. That what was going on here, was a good thing. But the whole time, on her mind was her own future. How could she leave the tribe, without completely destroying her mother? Of all her tribemates, her mother was the only one that mattered to her. Focusing on trying to find the answer she suddenly felt like she ran into a wall a found herself laying on the floor dazed when the hand helped her to her feet. "oi Torvhan, this is my tribe. My mother K'luha whom I love very much. K'haali, and K'ile..." the last name she said in a tone that even K'ile could tell was lacking respect or affection at this point. Indeed, she did not like K'ile, even though he had for a short time, earned some respect from her for their little talk in Ul'dah before the actual scouting began, that respect was gone the moment he uttered the words that he'd have her mate if she gave herself over to him to learn the tribe ways. To make matters worse, she started suspecting he and her mother were already disrespecting the tribe ways. She suspected those two were either close to mating, or already have. But she said nothing on that matter yet.

http://i.imgur.com/Nc6FC3g.png[/img] "YOU ARE A COLD HEARTED PIECE OF GOOBBUE DUNG!! AND I WILL NEVER SPEAK TO YOU AGAIN!!" Those were the last words his sister yelled at him. Yet to this day, he still felt nothing about the falling out with his sister. Something he found quite curious. Nilanius sat back in his chair, admiring the notes he had scribbled of his last job. Yet he still was haunted with the memories of childhood. He was there when his sister was born. And helped take care of her for many years. But now... 23 years ago... "Run!" Jeremiah yelled at Nilanius, "Take your sister and run! We will hold them off!" Mongrels. The beasts that plague Eastern Thanalan. They had come in a great big pack to their simple home and killed their family chocobos. Now they were after the family themselves. Their mother was holding her own, using a pitchfork to hold the beasts at bay. Nilanius grabbed his sisters hand and ran. Looking back, he wished he hadn't. For a beast was on their mother. And even their father was trying to shake off one of the mongrels. Nilanius and Alewen had only one chance of survival. If they could get to Drybone, they would have refuge. Thus they ran as quickly as their little feet could carry them... Back in the present time Nilanius stood within his little study. Dimly lit as it was, his black robes made him blend with the shadows. He much preferred darkness now. His bright red eyes scanned the picture hanging on one wall. "Sister, you've grown. I hardly know you now, yet I continue to think of you..." Nilanius said to himself. "Who are you kidding. She is your enemy. She means us harm!" responded the voice within his mind. Nilanius focused on trying to silence the voice, that constantly haunts him daily. It was perhaps, the reason for his change... A change which began 12 years ago... 12 years ago... "You really need to go big brother?" asked Alewen. The girl looked up to her brother, innocent blue eyes pleading for him to stay. Nilanius nodded, "Yes sister. We cannot be orphans forever. I've been accepted to learn Thaumaturgy. I am setting out today." Nilanius continued packing his bag with clothing. "Will I see you again?" Alwen asked. "Of course you will little sister. When I finish my training I will come back for you." Nilanius said with a smile. And with that, he kissed his sister's forehead and exited the church. They had grown up as orphans at the church in Drybone. It was a simple life. Studying under the priesthood. But Nilanius always had a knack for magic. Especially fire magic. Thus when one of the lalafell brothers saw his ability, they immediately wanted him. 5 years ago... Nilanius was deep in study on a voidsent jar he had found in some ruins. The creature inside taunted him, wanting freed, it promised him any wish he wanted. Outside the little cave he was using to study the jar, it sounded like the hells was suddenly let loose. Rising from his seat he went to go see what was going on, when the mountain began quaking and the jar he was studying began teetering. He went to catch the jar, when the ceiling caved in. To his horror as he crashed with the jar, the lid popped off and the voidsent spirit floated out and shot straight into his mouth. He could feel the creatures dark spirit within and began to choke. His eyes felt as though they were on fire, as the world around him went black... A few hours later, he awoke. The voidsent jar was shattered. He dug himself out of the rubble of the cave and emerged into a changed world. But he could also feel that he too was changed. That was the first day the voice in his head began... As the months passed, he found himself under the employee of an unscrupulously evil noble of Ul'dah. When negotiations with someone failed, Nilanius was sent in to create... accidents. Be it a sudden infestation of vermin, a mysterious death of livestock, or an unexplained fire. And each job gave him pleasure. The voice in his head feeding him raw power. And then the day came a year ago, when his little sister, now a young woman, came to Ul'dah. She was training to become a Gladiator, with dreams of one day becoming a paladin. But when she learned of what he had been doing, she confronted him about his work. The two fought, one step away from physical. And both vowed never to speak to each other again. Nilanius sighed. His once blue eyes, now turned red by the voidsent, stared out the window of his study. "You would be nothing without me. Remember that!" the voice said. "One day, I shall rid myself of your foul taint. And... maybe one day... plead forgiveness from my sister..." Nilanius said. "Your sister is to be a paladin! You are already her enemy! She will kill you!" the voice screamed. Nilanius opened his palm and formed a small flame in the air just above the palm, "If I am to die, then may it be one day... ridding myself of you..." Nilanius sighed then walked out of the room. He had another job to do tomorrow. And regardless of how he felt of the voice, he still took certain pleasure in looking forward to the pain and suffering he was going to inflict on the hapless victims that day.

((OOC Info: Takes place during the events of this thread: http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=5426)) K'ailia Yohko: Hi ma. K'luha Haaz nods to you. K'ailia Yohko: So... since K'ile aint here. What ya wanna do about the girl in Gridania? K'luha Haaz gazes upon you in deep reflection. K'luha Haaz: Well, It's not really for me to decide. We'll have to let the elders decide if the girl should pay for her mother's crime or if she will be allowed to join us. K'ailia Yohko: Ah... was gonna say if ya wanted me ta get her, I'd take full responsibility. K'ailia Yohko: But alright, we will see what the elders say. K'luha Haaz: I don't want you to go get her. You may be an adult, but you are not ready to take responsibility for another person's life. K'ailia Yohko nods "Alright." K'ailia Yohko: So when do we head back ta see the elders? K'ailia Yohko: Also how is yer head? K'luha Haaz: After K'ile and I have scouted the area where the Amal'jaa are located you two may return home to tell the elders. Then we will meet with Ventus when possible. Or at least I think that's the idea. K'luha Haaz: As for my head, well. It's fine. Still a little sore. K'ailia Yohko: Well, take it easy. That spell only be like a light bandage. K'ailia Yohko: Also... I wanna tell ya. K'ailia Yohko: If the tribe does move out here, I'd be closer ta the tribe, so could stay in camp more. You smile at K'luha Haaz. K'luha Haaz nods to you. K'luha Haaz: It really depends upon the Elders and what they decide. K'ailia Yohko: Aye. K'luha Haaz: So we will see. K'ailia Yohko: But I think the move be the best idea. K'ailia Yohko: An' I am sure Ventus be willin' ta supply some Exiles ta help protect the tribe on their move. You nod to K'luha Haaz. K'luha Haaz: I don't believe we need to rely on Ventus for any help... I am not sure why you are so eager to bring his help to us either. K'ailia Yohko: Ya wanna know why? K'ailia Yohko points at K'luha's bandaged head. K'ailia Yohko: I dun want my family hurt like that. K'ailia Yohko: The canyon between here an Sagolii, are full o' Amalj'aa. K'ailia Yohko: More help gettin' folks passed that point aint a bad thing. You beam with delight at K'luha Haaz. K'luha Haaz: K'ailia, I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself. I don't need the protection of some outsider. And I know perfectlly well that the canyon is full of Amalj'aa. K'luha Haaz: I still say we don't need them. K'ailia Yohko: Alright. K'ailia Yohko: Also... seems K'piru's bodyguard has decided if she see's me near K'piru, she wants ta kill me. K'luha Haaz: But we will see. K'luha Haaz: So, you have found K'piru? K'ailia Yohko: All evidence points ta the woman I found bein' her. Seems she's very upset whenever she see's any o' our tribe. Seems she was there when ya' an' K'ile met an discussed me. K'luha Haaz blinked and frowned faintly. "Really...?" K'ailia Yohko: I have ta wonder if that lalafell be her bodyguard... or her warden. Cuz I know K'piru. If she dinna wanna speak ta me, she'd o told me herself. K'ailia Yohko: Not sent some outsider ta make threats o bodily harm. K'luha Haaz 's tail frizzled behind her. "A lalafell threatened you?" K'ailia Yohko: Yeah. K'luha Haaz looks very angry. K'luha Haaz: How dare that stupid midget make threats at my family! K'ailia Yohko: Yeah, she was all 'I will fry ya in fire" K'luha Haaz: If I see that little shit I'll kick it out of Ul'dah and into K'piru's damn head! K'ailia Yohko: Which means, she's a thaumaturge. Bein' a white mage, I definitely could beat her. K'ailia Yohko: But... I was thinkin' K'luha Haaz winced at the sudden downpour and covered her face. She glanced back to K'ailia and clicked her tongue. "Thaumaturge or not, an arrow will go through her stupid little face." K'ailia Yohko: If K'piru is bein' held prisoner. Maybe ya' an' I should both confront her. K'luha Haaz: I doubt she is. She left us remember? She no longer wanted to be a part of our family. K'ailia Yohko: Hmm... K'ailia Yohko: The last time she spoke ta me, the day before the threat K'luha Haaz: So you have spoken to her then? K'ailia Yohko: She told me, not ta be too hasty about bein' exiled. K'luha Haaz: What does that mean? K'ailia Yohko: Aye, she gave me advice before K'ile came an' found me. K'ailia Yohko: Well... I thought you was gonna tell the elders an I'd be exiled regardless, cuz ya was so angry. K'ailia Yohko: So she shook her head an said not ta be too hasty K'ailia Yohko: then walked away. K'luha Haaz gazes upon you in deep reflection. K'ailia Yohko: I think she still cares about us. K'ailia Yohko: An' I was reachin' her. K'luha Haaz: I couldn't say... K'ailia Yohko: That lalafell prolly finds that a threat. K'luha Haaz: That lalafell is going to get a arrow in the knee. You smile at K'luha Haaz. K'ailia Yohko: Anyways... jes thought I should let ya know. K'luha Haaz nods to you. K'ailia Yohko: Yer the only one I've told this ta. K'ailia Yohko: So shall we head back ta camp? K'luha Haaz: You haven't told anyone else about K'piru? K'ailia Yohko: Nope, no one. yer the only one. Only other person I told was big bro- er my teacher for pugilist K'luha Haaz made an annoyed face at K'ailia before nodding. "Alright then. Let's get out of the rain." K'ailia Yohko: Alright.
