I'm going max on my Lala. 3'2" woo! The irony is still hilarious to me (6'7" IRL). I hoped maxing the height slider would let me see his gear a teensy bit better lol. We'll see I guess. If not, oh well, he's freaking awesome. Now we just need a muscle slider for Lalafells!

Name: Flamel Eldgamel Race: Lalafell Clan: Plainsfolk Class: Thaumaturge (Ignore the axe in the pic) Age: 29ish (WIP lol) Height: 3'2" Weight: 70ish (I'm kind of lost on this. He's not really rotund. Slightly thinner than most lalas I guess.) Build: Not super muscular, but has faint lines. Hair: Dark green, with brown highlights; kind of in his face, and pulled back into a small ponytail. Dark green soul patch as well. Eyes: Lavender Personality: Intelligent, scholarly, calm and collected. Lightweight drinker, who becomes much more open when drinking. He tries to steer clear of the drink because he feels it makes him 'stupid.' Hobbies: Reading! Also, thaumaturgy. Quirks: Always puts on a pair of spectacles when reading, writing, or doing business work. Also has both ears pierced twice, with rings. I can't draw worth crap. So I'd love to see him brought to life at the hands of an artist.

A fairly tall lalafell entered the bar. Out of the many patrons and taken seats, he managed to find an empty one at the bar. On his way there, he looked around the room. He had never really went to any of the taverns in Limsa, even though he had lived there all his life. The only one he ever visited had been The Drowning Wench. He tried to steer clear of alcohol, and as he sat down and picked up a menu, he immediately sighed. "So much alcohol..." he muttered to himself as he pulled spectacles from his robe. Placing the spectacles on his face, he mockingly continued, "Well it is a tavern you twit." He sat for a moment, thinking and taking in his surroundings. The tavern was beautiful. Honestly, he regretted never having stepped inside! His eyes wandered down to an enormous highlander that was covered in metal plates. The lalafell stared until the highlander glanced up, stealing eye contact for a second; only a second, because as soon as it happened, the lalafell was spinning in his seat back towards the bar. He overheard the banter of two hyur women speaking of Gridania as he scanned the menu more. "A salad sounds kind of good..." he muttered quietly to himself.

1. FF Origins 2. FF Origins 3 & 4. DS 5. Personally I prefer FF Antholgy for the PS1. If only because you can play on a bigger screen than the GBA version. 6. Same as 5. As for the others, I just play them on their respective systems. I'm playing FF2 again before phase 4. I never got past the beginning.

While phase 4 takes its sweet time coming around, I'm spending the XIVless days playing FFII and Shin Megami Tensai 4. SMT4 is pretty sweet, I highly recommend it to anyone with a 3DS. Great story, music, and voice acting, in my opinion.

23 at the moment, 24 in September. I went to college for a year-and-a-half before deciding that it wasn't my cup of tea (now I have to pay for it -_-'). I was going for computers, which at the time seemed good, but most definitely was not. Growing up I used to always write poetry. I hated english and literature classes back in high school. I played WoW for a year after dropping out of college, but never RPed. However, I did grow up playing all the FFs, and tons of other great RPGs, in addition to reading fantasy books, so fantasy itself came naturally to me. Which was good, because after meeting my fiancee, she showed me that I had a talent for writing. Now I have an entire fantasy novel written that I am revising/editing!

Sending a tonberry is going to take awhile... -_-' Also, If you preordered at a game store, there should have been a code on your receipt. At least, that's the way it worked at Gamestop. And yes, you have to preorder to get early access; however, it does not matter what edition, or if it's physical or digital.

This is how everyone should feel about the new server. Balmung should see Gilgamesh as its cousin server, not its competition, and vice versa. I can't wait for all of this to settle down so we can go back to arguing about stupid small things we get over in 5 seconds. This is awesome. Also, I like the RPC better than any other community I've been a part of, and I haven't even RPed with anyone yet! I can't wait until phase 4! Everyone here has been so welcoming to me, and all the other new people! And for that I am grateful, Namaste! <-Obscure reference... Phase 4 can't come soon enough! Flamel needs to make some friends!

Even with his above average height he sees that the table and chairs were obviously made for the taller races. He grabs a thick tome from the nearby bookshelf and sets it on the chair. Climbing into the seat; he now sits eye-to-eye with the interviewer. Reaching into a pocket of his robe, the lalafell pulls out a pair of spectacles and places them onto his face.* He sighs, "Commence your interview please."

Well met! I'm very eager to be part of such a wonderful and fun community. I grew up playing RPGs my entire life (Mainly the FFs). I've also played D&D quite a few times, so RP as a whole is not that new to me. I've played other MMO's, but never RPed in them. When FFXIV came along, I jumped at the chance to RP. FF has meant so much to me my entire life. Being able to create something in that world is just too great an opportunity for me. To me, FF without RP is like a bicycle without a frame, you can go somewhere, somehow...with those wheels, but you've no frame to hold it together. So I don't really see how you'd go anywhere. Or something like that. Can't wait to RP with everyone on Balmung come launch!

RP Style [/align] Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Depends really. I'll end up trying to stay IC as much as possible, but if something warrants being OOC then so be it. Also, there will probably be days where I rather stay OOC, or IC. Views on RP combat and injuries: As long as both parties can discuss and decide on a reasonable outcome. RNG's are your friend! Views on IC romance: No. Others can do what they want, but it's not for me. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Family, friends, and enemies, are all wonderful things to have. Especially to further or enhance one's story! Views on lore: I love it, and try to live by it. If something doesn't make sense, I won't hassle anyone for it. I feel like lore was established for a reason. The writers put effort into it, and from a writer's perspective; I wouldn't like seeing my effort go to waste, or be ignored. In conclusion, I follow it. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I dislike shout, so I will be turning it off through filters. Say is best suited for RP in my opinion. Linkshell fits with the lore, so I'd go either way there. Same for Free Company. Party is up in the air. If I'm partying with non RPers, I'll probably stay OOC. If I'm partying with RPers, I'll most likely stay IC, using (()) to denote OOC. I'll end up just using (()) to show OOC speech in any channel; although, if something's going on in /say, I probably won't OOC to try and say something. I would just do that in a tell.
