Hello and welcome to the RPC! Glad to have you with us. Following naming conventions for RP is better received than having "*incertclassname LAWL*" or straight up stealing a name from another game/anime ect. For naming conventions, I would suggest FFXIV Naming Conventions or, if you need a bit more help, FFXIV Name Generator is also nifty. Your best bet for the lore would be the main site or even Wiki. There is plenty of info on the lore out there on the interwebz. Not to mention, we have a lot of knowledgeable people on the RPC who would be happy to answer questions. There are individual tabs for armor pieces (head,chest, main/off-hand weapon ect) You can store multiple armor sets for any class or job and you can save them as part of an equipped set. There isn't anything for straight vanity but you can store vanity sets in said tabs and carry them with you for on-the-go RP. I hope this info was helpful and I hope you have fun on Balmung.

In case you missed it on Eros Skye's thread, Fear-Tober, I will be putting together a Murder Mystery RP event. This will not be for a few weeks but it's best to get this ball rolling. Selsix Crepuscule will be assisting me by playing a special role in the MM. (no, he's not the culprit...or is he?) The only thing I need right at this moment is a list of attendees. For those interested, there are a few things you should know about the event: Roles will be randomly and discretely assigned to participants. I am only going to give brief descriptions of the role, the person may play it up to their hearts content. (I am only here to set the stage) If you are not comfortable with your role, let me know ASAP so I can do some swapping. (this is meant to be fun for everyone.) Please keep your role to yourself to the best of your ability. We can't have the culprit telling everyone he/she is the bad guy/gal. No GOD MODDING. I know we look down on it, but it bears repeating. Most importantly, HAVE FUN! I will post updates on this thread as needed to let people know date and time ect. Roles will not be given out immediately so please don't worry if you don't get one right away. Feel free to PM here or in game if you are interested but have other questions not addressed here. This sounds great. Would you be interested in writing the mystery for it? Also if it seems that it is complicated and needs its own night there is no reason why we can't do different days of course. It is called fear-tober of course. I will hop right on it and will keep you updated.

I love it! I am totes game for helping out! I also thought it might be fun to have a murder mystery type rp event where people sign up and are individually sent roles. It would be up to the group to find out who is the culprit. Just sounds fun. If it's too complicated, it's cool, just throwing ideas out there.

Views on lore: Bending lore is OK as long as it's within reason. No need to stick with the "I am a warrior of light adventurer" ect. because Morelle certainly doesn't. Very beautiful indeed. For me, it's more than just the games themselves, it's the story behind the "Final Fantasy" name. A lot of people who play the games don't know the significance of how it came to be. I have a link for anyone who would like to read. The story alone teaches us that even if we are struggling, we should never give up on our goals because that one last try could really turn things around for the better.

Yoshi-P has already expressed disinterest in going F2P. here I also agree with the P2W sentiment. I'm interested to see what they do with dailies. As long as they aren't grinds to unlock more dailies, I'll be cool with it.

Is there room on that boat you two are on? With this game, I am pretty much trying to shed the shyness and the "am I doing a good job at this?" -ness. I've made Morelle pretty much the opposite to this so I would be forced to come out of my shell. Anyway, if anyone is interested in some RP at early access launch or even here on the forums, just send me a pm here or in game. I can also be found in the RP LS in game.
