B'jaern is a member of the Adders though he's bypassing some PTSD. He's currently MIA running around atm. Fact of the matter is that there is not a lot of concrete racial defining lore in this game. I've searched high and low for Roe specific lore to no avail and even have an LS of wonderful Roe RPers to keep their wary eyes out for it. Though most times the % of discussion is on how many faces Denn punched or who's the new guy/girl in Hornet's harem:P Even with the concepts of what constitutes "tribal" culture within each race/tribe you're going to get a myriad of opinions that don't necessarily align with one another. That's what causes conflict, maybe people are just addicted to it for the sake of attention, who knows. So are these types of threads really just people wanting to find pedestals for being lore police and dictating to other people how they should RP their character by thumbing down a list of criteria check boxes for their approval into their niche club? If that's their perogative fine, who am I to say no you're not aloud to do that, you're stepping out of the lore box neener neener. *shrug* Could you imagine someone of your same race coming up to you on the street and attempting to define your "whiteness" or "blackness" or "insert whatever racial or cultural" stereotype without getting a rolling of the eyes if not a fist in the face?

I enjoy RPing a miqo'te that really doesn't care what their culture is all about because 1) frankly he wasn't raised within it and 2) there are so many out there in the "you're doing it wrong" club that are too overly enamored with how other people choose to RP their character that they themselves attempt to justify why they are more miqo'te than someone else. All in all the same rhetorical themes always arise within these types of racial archetype defining threads to the point of banality and ad nauseum. I mean honestly, do you really want a collective group who can rarely agree on anything attempt to define you? Lunacy. This is but one of the concepts to my miqo'te's individuality. Do I need community approval in order create a well rounded character? Hell no.

Plot Pricing The initial price of land at the release of patch 2.1 will vary depending on World population and economy. Prices are also affected by location, and there may be differences between plots of the same size. Pricing logic seems to be like a page out of NCSOFTs playbook. "Hey all, we're going to make everything super expensive so you spend more time in game thus reassuring your subscription fee reaches our pockets. This reasoning is based on the higher gil circulation in your market because we were lazy in addressing the RMT issue." But in order to save face..and make pretends... "Purchasing land or housing using gil obtained from RMT (real money trading) or other illicit means is strictily prohibited. Any land or estate hall deemed to have been purchased through such means is subject to seizure." Enter super inflation for everything unless you have multiple crafting classes. /facepalm

Sadly for War tanks if you are going to single tank it and not use DF (which is a waste of a good dps spot to be honest), it's best to be full DL. Rock Buster and Mountain Buster will own you without anything else. I didn't set foot into Titan HM until I was over 7k HP and still was taking big chunks due to the lack of mitigation even with Thrill and Foresight on.

RP Roes are like Unicorns, only the pure of heart can see us. We're out there! If you ever see Obsidian Hornet in game feel free to say hi! I hoard them all for myself. You cannot have them mwuahaha! No honestly there are a number of us out there. Stop the by the Bismarck or Drowning Wench sometime. Swyrbhrat aka Meat will be happy to wine and dine you then send you out on some shady mission that may cost you your life.

Meat just wants to be this LS version of Bosley ala Charlie's Angels with providing mini plot like missions for $.8-) BTW he's always available for moral support, if not a friendly snog or punch.

I think it's important to practice what you preach. At times I wonder if some people spend more time analyzing RP than actually RPing to the point where they can't justify their character getting involved in anything and then sit back and cross examine those that attempted to include them in the creative process. Whether it be a questionable theme or whether or not someone hasn't fleshed out their character concept and jumped into a scene prematurely without knowing who their character really is, it should be communicated that they need an out. In truth you need reliable people to RP. Expectations start evolving and then people get let down and question the reliability of that individual. This is how a lot of cliques form. Multi-level plots are difficult to balance if the supporting cast doesn't want to participate anymore because they have migrated over to another plot that they think fits their character more all the while possibly derailing the other one. It's just a common discourtesy that I see happen all too frequently.

An in game dice rolling feature would be nice /random(1-100) etc helps facilitate a lot of RP.

I'd like to congratulate Sio and her team for such a fine job on formulating the theme and group. I truly am intrigued with the concept and may stop by for some bumps and bruises with Meat.
