My only fear is something known as "plot dump" meaning in a span of a short time, everything about something or someone is dropped into your lap. I try to make a "default" background for any characters i have, then flesh them out as I play. I then add the important stuff to my bio. So my characters are ever changing and moldable.

For EU For NA We are currently receiving a large number of contacts about customers not receiving the automatic e-mails that are sent from the Square Enix Account Management System. We are notifying about the issues that occurred and measures taken during the Beta Test Phase 4. -For Worlds under the North America/European Data Centers, we have resolved the issue where in some cases Error 3102 was displayed and was not allowing login. Since the detail of the error was that it occurs when a Character is left in a World for a short period of time, the error may display upon situations such as connection loss. Even in that case, we have fixed the issue so players are able to login again after a minute or so. -We have resolved the issue where in some cases Error 90000 was displayed and was having login difficulty. -We have resolved the issue where in some cases Error 90000 was displayed and players were unable to move to certain areas. -We have resolved the issue where players were in some cases unable to complete Main Quests and Class Quests even though they were completed. Also regarding the Beta Test Phase 4, we are currently fixing the data for Characters that had the corresponding issues. *There are Quests that allows players to choose their rewards, but we have reports saying that the status of the selection stayed as unselected. For Quests that allows players to select their rewards, we please ask our players to select the rewards. -We have resolved the issue where in some cases players were unable to complete certain Sub Quests even though they were completed. Also regarding the Beta Test Phase 4, we are sorry to ask our players to abandon the Quest once and offer it again for the corresponding issues if occurred. *There are Quests that allows players to choose their rewards, but we have reports saying that the status of the selection stayed as unselected. For Quests that allows players to select their rewards, we please ask our players to select the rewards. -We have made a change, so when receiving damage during an Event and in some cases unable to progress in certain Quests, players will no longer receive damage. Also, regarding the Beta Test Phase 4, we are sorry to ask our players to abandon the Quest once and offer it again for the corresponding issues if occurred. -We have resolved the issue where some cases players were unable to progress Guildleve Release Quest. We will notify everyone once we decide on the compensation date and method. -We have resolved the issue when some cases during a server outage, the action to mount and call a Minion was disappearing. Also, for Characters that have the call action disappear, the action has been reinstated. -We have resolved the issue when some cases during a server outage, Items that were stored in the Cabinet was disappearing. Also, for Characters that have lost Items, what was in the Cabinet has been reinstated.

For NA For EU We have confirmed an issue wherein players were unable the load their character data from the official benchmark when changing the appearance of their FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 characters. In addition, we identified several display issues with the editing screen itself. Due to these display issues, players may have had a difficult time changing the appearance and/or character name of their characters. Therefore, we have decided to provide the following services. - Provide a one-time character name change. - Provide a one-time character appearance change. * Please note that we will only be providing the service to those who encountered problems during the character change process. We will follow-up once we have more information on the matter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Do tell! 'Pretty' means different things to Roegadyns than it does to other races. Can our characters 'acquire' scars through in-game mechanics (i.e. barber shop)? My dame is rough and tumble, so I would expect to add a few more as she goes through life/content. I'll see if I can whip up her pic in the char creator.

For some reason I just got a mental image of Balthier saying all those cuss words in his own way. Yeesh. I was quite suprised by the cussing in game and I loved it! It's not over the top and sure isn't offensive .. course I started in Limsa Lominsa heh. :cactuar:

Seriously. Even in EQ2 it was nothing to get a tier 3 guild hall. The upkeep is what gets you but after a time it's nothing.

Actually I did watch, and started on the NA site and it WENT to the EU site when I would click on something. They even routed people to the JP site too. Called fail on the other end, not always the users, heh.

Er, I have no idea what other classes there are outside what's in the game now ... :blush::blush: I'm not very picky though. I ususally find one and stick to it, though in a game with the ability to change class, it's gonna be haaaaard. :cactuar:

It seems to be going in slowly now as I got mine and my spouse done. What is being said is put the original code back in, making sure it is http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ for NA http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/ for EU To get the right region code. There still is some congestion though so please be patient.

Cause no one got any e-mail I assume. Codes are from wrong regions so people are region locked (ie NA are getting UK codes so don't work) PS3 users are getting PC games There is alot. And I never got any e-mail at all after pre-ordering it about 3 months ago /shrugs VERY few are regestering fine.

Awww ... an MMO virgin! *pinches cheeks* But it depends. I have seen many people, even myself, respond to "congrats" or the like in games. I think it is a natural response for human beings to do so. I encourage people to do that though. See someone win a nasty fight? /cheer them afterwards. Some might not respond but alot do to it. ..... *pinches Desmond's cheeks again* :cactuar:
