1. I think it's a little late to be trying to set standards on your relationships there, Dog. What standards? I bet you two hate standards. Especially ones along the line of, "must be this tall to ride." Which honestly explains more than a few things.
2. I forgot the most important picture! OP updated. :3
3. The mods and I are discussing it, but most likely, the interim admin will be one of the current mods, and then the interim admin will decide whether to keep the position, hand it over to someone else, or do something else entirely. I've the utmost confidence in the mod team, seeing as most of them have been here since the beginning, so we'll be in good hands. Cool, thanks for that. I look forward to seeing where we go from here, then. From your previous posts I've got the impression that you've sacrificed a fair bit in your time as Admin so that our community can continue to enjoy the RPC and it's benefits and uses. Thanks for all your hard work, Freelance.
4. The issue wasn't the language used, Osric. You very friendly about it and you made it very clear that you weren't issuing a formal warning and had chosen instead to give me a, in your words, 'Pre-Warning Notice'. I appreciated that you may not have wanted to send the PM at all, which is why I put extra effort into articulating my frustration respectfully in my reply. Trouble is, that's still a warning. It's just not a formal one. It's a warning of a forthcoming warning unless something is acted on. And that feels pretty bad when it's for having good-natured fun with friends in your own thread. I appreciate that the rule is being discussed by the mods and I look forward to seeing any changes made. As an FC leader myself, I know the concern of holding everyone to the same standards and being fair, which is what I think you were doing. That said and as you know, I do feel those standards are unduly strict, so I'm pleased they're being examined by the mod team. Thanks, guys.
5. Thanks for the heads-up. How will the new Admin be chosen, out of curiosity?
6. Yeah, Bryn did eye Sophia up for a bit before she realized that Soph wasn't actually a catboi and that was just excessive lip hair.
7. I hope you're not referring to our conversation there, Osric. I'll admit that I was upset by the 'Pre-warning Notice' I was given after posting the .gif in the thread I made earlier, but I made sure to put my points across in a reasonable manner. You did, and I was thankful for that. It was a dialogue, and that dialogue was important enough that I shrugged off that initial feeling, forwarded your response as requested, and came back to ask what I felt was an important question. Your edit made me a little, though, since there was no need to remove the GIF. I felt like I had to, though. As I said to you and as I stated in my (admittedly pissy - sorry) edit; the .gif summed up my thoughts in a way that I felt didn't need text accompaniment. Since any text would have been redundant and in a gesture of good will, I opted instead to remove the .gif I was given an informal warning for. I was aware of the forum rules, but made the mistake of taking them by their intention instead of their literal words. I assumed that as: 1. The image post was entirely well-meaning, and in an obvious way, 2. It was obviously posted in a well-meaning thread, which was a conversation among friends, 3. It was directly relevant to a previous post, 4. It was entirely SFW, and, 5. It was in my own thread, It would be okay to post. I understand the concern that liberal use of memes, gifs, etc, can be easily abused by trolls. But if and when this occurs, punish the trolls. Why should forum users having friendly, respectful conversation be penalized by a rule because of what a troll might do in the absence of that rule?
8. I know people who have left the RPC permanently because of the general air of hostility which is permitted to linger, and not because of .gif use. Among these people and including myself, the 'anti-image-and-no-text -post' rule is seen as a treatment for the symptoms and not the disease.
9. Bryn isn't into spineless, underhanded traitors. Or worse; Midders.
10. I hope you're not referring to our conversation there, Osric. I'll admit that I was upset by the 'Pre-warning Notice' I was given after posting the .gif in the thread I made earlier, but I made sure to put my points across in a reasonable manner. To this I would say; who is the website being run for? On a theoretical level, if everyone decided to up and leave right now, what would be the point of it? The RPC isn't a personal project, it's a community.
11. Some of us need a little more than half a beer to get a fire going. But it's alright, I'm sure that's plenty for a wee Lalafell <3 Oh hey Sophia. How's that whole 'capture-Brynhilde-and-give-her-to-your-superiors' mission going? Because Bryn's still over here. Having beach parties. Banging a hunky Roe. Generally being a badass bitch. Which Roe was that, again? I can't exactly keep track these days ALL OF THEM. Don't tell Dog.

13. We had loads of folks run through for their quest. We were happy to help them kill their giant monster frogs. It was actually pretty touching how many people apologized for popping the frog on top of our event.
14. Welp. [Edit to adhere to forum rules] Uh... No, I've got nothing. The image summed up my sentiment more or less perfectly, hence why I posted it. Why else bother posting it? Seriously, mods. Seriously. I'll just remove it. [/edit]
15. Subtitle: GMs are awesome ... Thank you! I had a wonderful time, and I'm incredibly grateful to all of you who came along and helped me make Dogberry's Nameday party a success. Thank you to Xenedra for your game and song! We actually had more games in the works, but 'Captain' was enjoyed so much that it took up most of the event! Thank you also to our guest trolls, whose futile efforts to disrupt the event resulted in one of them being disciplined, and the GMs appearing to wish Dog a happy birthday! And last but certainly not least, thank you to our random (previously!) non-RPer Smallville Steelman who joined us on a whim and enjoyed his first ever RP with us! Bro, you were hilarious. Let's do it again sometime! More pics beneath the spoiler tag!
16. >.> *stares* "sthl-wulf .....hem-ryst-mem-win" ....how far off was i? The pronunciation of Roegadyn names follows generally Nordic rules, so it'd be "Stahl-vilf Haemr-steem-veen."
17. As stated on Bryn's wiki, if you wanted to be really, really correct, Bryn's name would be pronounced "Breen-HILL-d' Voolf." With the 'R' rolled for a half second. So few non-Mhigan Eorzeans can pronounced it right, though, so generally Bryn doesn't make a fuss about it being, "Brin Wulf."
18. There once was a lass from 'Mhigo Who fell for the charms of a Roe His manner was rough But she loved him enough Now she loves him each night - to and fro!
19. Osric: you wish you could roast Bryn, half-Hyur. How are things in the Flames, by the way? I heard that the danger of recent events have been exaggerated, and things are mostly... 'armless. Warren: You should try being a machine. It works very well for Dogberry.
20. Castille cannot make you happy because he himself is never satisfied unless he spends several hours a day staring at sweaty people of all genders grappling with each other for his amusement. Which, as we all know, is entirely a waste of time; why stare at all that sweat when you can bottle and commodify it in a disgusting and outrageous display of avarice and shamelessness?
21. I'm glad Stormwind has enjoyed our interactions, few though they've been. In fact, I believe we've only met the once ICly, at the Ul'dahn ball a couple of months back. While our chat was rather brief, it was wonderfully illuminating, and I found myself with a greater understanding of Stormwind's forum title; there is definitely something between the purported genius, and the madness -- the madness being dear Rhianna. I've heard wonderful things of the events Stromwind and co. host, and I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been able to make it along to any of them. The ones where Stormwind gets everyone else to beat up big monsters for him sound particularly fun. Which is all of them, as it'd seem.
22. If you're talking about Stormwind, you needn't bury him yourself! There will be a long list of people ready to volunteer for that duty, and also to pack the earth down nice and tidy with a jig or seventeen. No no, there's no need to thank us.
