Disregard above advice, Highlanders; please proceed as scantily-clad normal. Please.

Pictures of new Gear, some stunning sets on the way.

I love the MNK one (damn that is a badass Highlander bro mm) and the final heavy-ish armour set with the skirt. -
Hello and welcome!

What a great idea! I'll put it to my FC folks and see what they think.

Thank you for your kind words, all. Maybe, when I get more confident.

Oi. So I used to draw a lot. Nowadays I don't so much - I made the mistake of taking art at college, on a bad course with bad tutors. But I'd like to get back into it, and I like doing little sketches of FFXIV stuff, so I'm hoping making this thread will help motivate me. As a result of my very long art break, almost all of my stuff is years old. (and therefore FFXI-related!) Anyway. FFXI NSFW! FFXI FFXIV Other

Thanks, Sounsyy! But yeah, I ignore the time bubble thing. That shit doesn't make any sense from a narrative perspective, yo.

Ala Mhigo fell to the Empire 20 years before the start of ARR, in the year 1557 (according to the timeline on the wiki). So if we take 1 Earth year to match up to 1 Eorzean year, it is currently 1579.

Is Iski taking off her mask... or... Novelty crazy straw. You mean, Emergency Induction Port. -
She could end up that way, though! Once she picks up her greatsword, she could go flying around on airships to deal with air pirates or something. Possibly being originally hired and then eventually enlisted with some military to do so (or just hang with Dogberry's crew!). It's all in how you work it. I'm backing Chachi and Dog on this one, Steel - you've suggested that you've not known what to do with your Roegadyn Hotness for a while. Why NOT jump on something that you find inspiring? Why can't Steel Wolf find what's missing in her life by taking to the skies? Going to throw in on this as well. Steel's in a place to make lots of choices/changes in her life, all things considered. Besides...I could totally see Steel leaping off a flying mount to axe some dragon. 8-) Giving this a +1. If you want to take your character in a particular direction, there's usually a way to do it. You just need to get creative. Aeon will begin IC construction on their airship soon. We could give Steel a taste for air travel that way, if you wanted.

High Ilvl requirements, no use for AOE, drop rates unreliable, first boss drops aggro frequently, begins with a Tank-check, has a DPS-check in the middle and involves a heal check in the final encounter. What can I say? This dungeon takes skill. Therefore, no bards.

I. Bryn's Bedroom II. Bryn's Bedroom III. Bryn's Bedroom IV. Bryn's Bedroom V. Bryn's Bedroom VI. Bryn's Bedroom VII. Bryn's Bedroom VIII. Bryn's Bedroom IX. Bryn's Bedroom X. Bryn's Bedroom More painful than Aurum Vale with a PUG, but those pants just might drop.

If you think Bryn's letting Dog spend his money on an airbike, you've got another thing coming. When my mom married my dad the first thing she made him do was sell his motorbike. He still gets a wistful glint in his eye whenever we see one on the road. It's hilarious. Look. Dog's not quite middle-aged yet, but I'd say a few major brushes with death certainly qualify him for a mid-life crisis, and if Bryn truly loves him, she will give him the time and space that he needs to figure all this out, and if he needs to do it on an airbike, then SO BE IT. That's actually kind of sad, Bryn, poor guy just wants to ride! Bryn would never be so heartless as to deny Dog his rides! All I'm saying is, he has to chose what it is he wants to ride. ifyouknowhwtaimean. We both know the moment that bike kicks into second gear, Bryn will be all about that airbike. Dog's dream of re-enacting Kanye's Bound 2 isn't going to happen; Bryn's all about dat majestic fucking Griffin aww yiss.

I WANT MY GRIFFIN. Oh man. I am so hoping it's connected to Ala Mhigo. And I know it's going to be lore friendly and has been in previous games, but from an anatomical standpoint there's no way a creature like the Chocobo could fly. Let alone the fat 'Bo. so I guess it's just another thing to hand wave, although it will quietly bother me.

Young Brynhilde would be horrified to see what she had become. If she were to glimpse herself as a 40 year old woman at the age of 18, just prior to the fall of Ala Mhigo, she'd be mortified that she wasn't married to a handsome, wealthy and strong Highlander man and proud mother to a small pack of strong Highlander children. And, of course, her beloved homeland would be gone. If she were to see her 40-year old self a few years later, when she was caught up in the Resistance, she'd be utterly furious to learn that she didn't win Ala Mhigo back, and instead is living in Ul'dah and bedding a Roegadyn. She'd see adult-Bryn as a weakling and a traitor. Either way, she would greet the vision with absolute disbelief. Shortly before trying to kill whoever showed it to her.

Hi Tigerspirit, We accept applications from people when recruitment is closed on a first-come-first served basis for consideration when recruitment reopens. Feel free to submit an app whenever you like. Out of curiosity, who were you in FFXI? If you were on Leviathan, presumably you'd have been with The Lost Boys...

Bryn got a new fabric softener for her bedsheets today. It's cheap whorehouse ale scented. So Dog can feel right at home when he's biting that pillow. I'll have you know, I've never traded with prostitutes. It's too expensive, especially when I can always charm aging Ala Mhigan nobles looking for man candy to help them feel young again. It's funny that you were talking about roasts earlier, Dog. Do you like pork? Because Bryn's going to make you squeal like a pig. It's a shame SE didn't make banjos a housing item, because that cello in Bryn's room would be right out. I do like pork. In fact, I've always wanted to be a farmer, and plant my seed somewhere fertile for a change. I don't know, Dog. You and your secret bf Vash can try your best, but nature may not co-operate.

Ah yes, 'sparring'. That thing where Bryn lets Dog win for fear of emasculating him again. 'Her man always wins', indeed; because she's learned to let him win lest he get upset. Dog, you are my myna, my liebe. I am the Mr Hands to your Hengst. And by that I mean that you're a massive pain in the arse. And no, not like that. There may be one backdoor Barbara in this relationship, and we both know it's not Bryn. Your claim of letting me win may just hold water. Enough water for you to freak out and flail around in like you're drowning when you fall into it, which we both know isn't much. Bryn got a new fabric softener for her bedsheets today. I really don't think chachan's going to be growing any time soon, Dog. Even if he does want to meet your standards to ride. Nonsense, all it takes is a little fertilizer and some regular watering! And ah, Bryn, my dearest, my autumn flower, ma belle peche. If only I had both eyes to behold you. At least then I wouldn't have to feign having a blind spot for the sake of fairness when we spar. Please don't give people more reasons to try and join Coral, Dog, we're full up as it is. I know, The Coral Sea is one of the fastest growing FCs and full of fun loving, kind people. I'm sure some day those qualities will rub off on you. I really don't think chachan's going to be growing any time soon, Dog. Even if he does want to meet your standards to ride. I think it's a little late to be trying to set standards on your relationships there, Dog. Yeah, after Dhemgeim there's really no point, but I've made a few solid ground rules now: No wild animals or Coralites. Well, at least we know Dog's good at something: wishful thinking Gotta be rough on a guy to only be liked for his legs. Yep. All 3 of 'em.
