untilOn Friday, March 11th starting at 8:00 PM EST at Shroudrose Teahouse, Avarra Terrowin and Thalia Atoel are hosting a fashion contest! The categories are as follows: Cosplay Couples/Group Elements Seasons If you'd like to participate, please sign up through this Google form! While only FC/Discord members can participate in the fashion contest, you're welcome to invite your friends to spectate and cheer you on. We will also be needing staff members to help out where possible, especially a bartender or two. Along with the fashion main event, we'd like to have four performers sign up to play something linked to one of the above themes. If you sign up as a performer, please reach out to Avarra to figure out which themes are available for you to choose. Special thank you to everyone and anyone who signs up!

Hello there, Ink, welcome! There are Discord communities and public events open to anyone. As for hooks, it just depends on the character you're writing and what sort of RP and stories you are looking for, but adventurers working together is a great place to start. There's not a lot of etiquette involving approaching anyone. If you're doing an IC walk-up, I would just recommend finding someone with their RP tag on and/or someone who is actively writing RP posts so you know they are IC and available for RP. Otherwise if you're not sure or just want to touch base OOC first, you can always send a /tell.

Black mages are seen as somewhat taboo in canon. Some RPers stick to that lore while others are more flexible with it. So you could play a black mage if you'd like, but if you are aiming for more grounded, it may be better to just stick to thaumaturgy.

The Far East doesn't have exactly the same classes as Eorzea--so it may not be identical to thaumaturgy or called by the same name, but it does exist in the Steppe as we can see with characters like Sadu Dotharl!
