The Pro's and Con's of each Weapon type for RP combat.
Momo replied to Enzo's topic in Character Workshop
I dunno why you guys are bothering discussing all these swords and arrows...everyone knows that BOOKS are the best weapon in the game...plus RP value of a book...HUGE...sooooo, yeah, good luck with anything else...8-) -
How is there not more talk about this?!?! Minus a few of the new pokemon designs, these games look epic, and are poised to become two of the highest selling handheld games of all time! The new legendaries are some of the best I've seen in a few gens, and though I'm not as excited about it, mega-evos seem to be a hot topic among people buying the game. Been playing since I was 11, now 26, first game was blue, and I am fairly certain that I won't stop playing until I'm dead! Long Live Pokemon! What else is everyone excited about?

Okay! I finally finally, got my copy of the special edition for PS3 and am currently setting it up, soooo always looking for new and interesting open RP since my characters previously haven't joined a group, and have mostly just gone around interacting with random people. Now, very specially, most of my characters are from Ul'Dah, so I will be sending someone down there if I can make the time for certain, but I would also like to volunteer the twins, yes twins(!), to go down and take part in the actual tavern itself. I will have them set up for double play, and I already mostly have a system worked out to be able to control them at the same time >,< (crazy I know)... So there is that, maybe could lend a little different quality to what you're providing if you let the boys entertain a bit? Okay, hope to see this up and running by the time I get my stuff together in the new few weeks! PM me for any questions in return.
-
Okay, well the twins will probably be into this, occasionally performing god knows whatever will get them some mention, maybe seedy or maybe traditional who knows (whatever makes their father and mentor roll their eyes and cough awkwardly)? Of course you have to wait for the PS3 version to come out so I can play them both at the same time lol, but it will be worth the wait for certain! I can probably sneak one of them in to start with too. Also, I am a writer, so sign me up to help out with the behind the scenes stuff, organizing, filler, dramaturge, and anything else you can come up with that needs some trimming and extra bits. I would be willing to help out some even before I have characters in, so put me down and though I haven't been as active of late, when the game actually starts picking up, I plan on jumping back in full steam!

I think really realistically, this ultimately wouldn't be reasonable to question. Taking into account how the lore and everyday NPC interaction takes place, most of the time it would be unreasonable for many of us to have random multiple jobs like some of the examples here. If you are a warrior, chances are the way the world works...you aren't suddenly going to pick up a staff and say hey I want to use all that BLM training I got in between warrior training...it just usually doesn't work like that. Now...if you have a story that supports the change then fine, go ahead with questioning of how to justify it, but I will agree with Aysun, when it comes to game mechanics such as these, you usually ignore them to survive a battle if need be, otherwise you just stay as the one class if you are going to be realistic. Sure Momo has WHM sub job and is a PLD, but those classes make sense together, and I don't to truly change anything to use both, so those work, but as I said, if you are really trying to fit with the lore and world stance to this degree, you shouldn't be randomly changing in between anyways. These jobs, they aren't passing fancy, most of the skills that you will come to learn are apparently learned through years of hard training, even if it truly only took you a couple months or less, so they should be treated with such revere in a hardcore RP world, and with that being said, the game mechanics should be ignored for the purpose of purity. Anywho, I hope that you guys find an answer if you wish to keep on with this train of thought, I am interested to see what other ideas are come up with.

I feel like the simplest advice would be, you can use main characters from the game, but make sure that you keep yourself distant enough that character for others to still appreciate your RP without it becoming too overpowering. Basically it is like giving yourself a handicap in the RP world to cover for the desire of being linked to a main character. Be someone's cousin, you're still in the same family, but you aren't particularly close like a sister, or a brother (which maybe you could even pull off with some of the characters since we don't have a lot of background and frankly I don't think some of it will ever be filled in). When I create a story for a character, I just make sure that I view it all as a scale system, as if I am balancing on one side of the scale, the world in which my character exists, and on the other is the actual world that is unchangeable by the players. I can add things into my world, but if it starts to lean too far to one side I have to give the other side some more to balance it back. My most current characters being introduced, and more so by the time PS3 comes out, I plan to be related to a former Syndicate member, so I get the Syndicate name in there for some base and attachment for my characters, but they aren't actually so powerful as to be in a top position which would break canon. I suppose it comes down to, I know you like to bend almost until breaking, and I think you are doing just that, but there are some seriously involved RPers here that if you are interested in RPing with, you have to reign yourself in a bit, and play by most of the same rules everyone else does. If you can figure a way around it (which there are, but they are lengthy and tend not to come to fruition), then by all means, but otherwise, we are all happy to RP and play in the same world, but only so much can be reasonably tolerated so that the RP world which we have created doesn't go awry. Hoping any of the things mentioned were helpful without being hurtful, or without pushing you away. It is clear you have some interest in building your characters and putting time in to do so, so I hope you continue to consider that your mission! Good Luck!

I have my twins, they are nobles of Ul'Dah, and could participate (though more lightly as sort of friends to the family or fellow nobleman at parties...though the twins are anything but noble by nature, they could be persuaded) and I myself have an interest in this sort of little plot, and my main is actually a guardian and trainer to the twins who could add a little to the ranking sensibility of the whole thing. Anyways, if anyone dares to spear-head this little venture, give me a shout!

This is an old thread for certain, but once things even out with the RP server being announced (like it hopefully will)...perhaps it merits another look? The new scheme of things in our IC world can now better allow for a group that is made of all respective and perspective adventurers of all different types. The threat of a changing and new world certainly pushes out worry over alignment, when in turn every character can act in membership for survival and growth no matter the course or discourse of their paths. I dunno, it is really wishful thinking as many of ideas have turned out to be over the past few years, but thought I would throw in a little on this before the thread is buried once more haha.

I know this isn't as fun of a suggestion, but no one mentioned it. If you want the character to have longer hair, but find that it is obviously sacrificed by the game's available hairstyles, I would maybe choose a braided style? That way, maybe in posted RP, or in private context, one could still RP that a character has long hair, but in game, it is explained as to why that isn't apparent by your everyday appearance. Just a little suggestion, hope it helps again!
-
I say go for it, but my best advice on something like this is also as such: make sure it fits well into your character's story. That first and foremost will garner more respect for your character from the OOC crowd, so that maybe those who RP with you are willing to interact and specifically aid your interaction with elementals in relation to an RP event or random chat. Really make it fit, so no random at the end of your character's bio: "oh and he speaks to elementals", something more along the lines of: "his mother had died, but the voices of the wandering elementals had chosen to focus their attention of him, and had produced a miracle which saved him from a shared end, now however, he was alone..." or some other such relatable thing in his story that really gives foundation and credibility to your choice in RP tools. Okay, good luck friend, hope to see you around!

Something else that adds a little fun Weffrey, don't know that anyone has mentioned it otherwise is: assigning a say command to your spells. This allows creativity and a little depth to be added to each spell so that you can do them easily with little explanation, but as stated by dear Eva you don't have to give emotive words for motions or steps taken for spells. Of course there is always a visual display of casting if you wish to rely on that solely, but I think it is more fun when someone casts something like Cure to have a little say like: "By ::random god's name here::'s power, I give you strength!", or some such less dramatic/more creative little ditty to go along. Be aware this can get repetitive for some more casual casting activities at which point I usually just start clicking and skip the command over and over. Hope this helped a tiny bit!

I've always been curious about these sorts of situations, and how everyone deals with them. I personally have noticed that there is a general consensus that you actual level and gear do contribute to your character, because I have seen a great deal many people choosing that this is how they want to play, and therefore making the rest of us choose a similar path so that it doesn't come into conflict. I am not placing negative or positive connotations on that, just stating it as an observation. I personally am a fun-seeking, relaxed gamer, who enjoys RP, and can play the game for it's gaming quality, but am shit at getting to those top tier performance battles without someone guiding me most of the way. That being said, I didn't really get to have a character I would have liked, because most people seemed to regard your ability IC the same as your actual ability, and I think with the coming ARR, I will just say screw it and make the character I want without worry of others not taking him seriously enough because he doesn't have the best gear or skill set or whatevs anyone wants to figure in. Once again, this is more a declaration of personal freedom to do what one wants, rather than looking down on the practices previously taken for custom, I can say I had plenty of fun RPing on FFXIV, so no hard feelings at all. All that being said, I guess I will fall on the side of having no interest in PvP as a means of resolution to any IC disagreements, but then again, I would be willing to allow others to make it policy for themselves and have no hard feelings. I suppose the fact that my character has always gotten along with most people, and is carefree by nature, has factored into a disinterest in even emotive battle, but figured I would cast a stone for one side anywho. I also looked back at previous info releases, and found that this ultimately will play little to no part unless in the heat of the moment, one person looks at the other and says, "Let's take this to the arena then!" and means that in a "let's take this outside" sort of manner, due to as said above, the PvP areas are few and designated as far as we know.

It was a wrenching movement in the final moments of the 6th Unbral Era, it really did bring tears to my eyes to see so many so desperate, and then failure in the very last second only to be taken away from all that utter destruction...just lovely to watch, and awe-inspiring to say the least. I absolutely cannot wait for what we get to experience next!
-
So, after having moved like 3 times in the past 2 months, and being unable to setup things with work and move time constraints, I have finally nearly settled! And so, have now experienced the movement of this era into the next, hopefully with many of the rest who were around at the time of the event, and for days to come who get a chance to watch the wonderful, however heart wrenching cinematic for the beginning of A Realm Reborn. With all that great news and happenings, come a slew of new stuff, videos, concept art, and info, and give me the idea to query...what is your favorite thing/things about all that business? I just wondered would those who read this thread take just a moment to share their favorite experience/detail about all this new stuff? Not just: I like that outfit...I am thinking more like: the plummage of that hat is rather flamboyant...but in the most wonderfully enchanting of ways, and I cannot live without it! Or: Boo, I used to love big teddy bear Titan prancing about behind me while I killed things, now he has a toady face!...but maybe, just maybe...it is growing on me! Ah well, you get the picture. Stop and take a moment to share with everyone your very most anticipated shiny!
-
I agree, I like how this refined character creation system is looking, like many here, even when I am not putting a character into an RP setting, I spend a ridiculous amount of time choosing all the details allowed. It is time consuming, but so awesome to have something that is nearly what your imagination can picture in a world which someone else has created to then admire as you venture forth for even the most menial of tasks. I do wish we got to see te newest additions to the race and gender board, but I think this just shows the wonderful possibilities ahead for everyone as we enter a new and hopefully more final era of this gaming experience which can truly only be enhanced.

Wow, great to here that you will be joining us, I can tell by the way. You talk, that FFXI holds as many warm feeling with you, as it does with me. I think I will always miss those days of lazy hangouts and random adventuring that the vibrant world of the former game held and shaped so perfectly, but there are many more opportunities to be had here just the same! They have given you all the info you will need above, so I will just say, happy adventuring, please get involved where you can, and keep checking back, as people are still around, and still RPing hard! Welcome, Momo

I say we, because I mean we as a community. If we don't start acting like one now, when will we start? So I will continue to say we, because I never said anything was broken, I said that we need to talk about to better it. Better, meaning make it more functional, make it more welcoming to new members, make it more open to trying new things, make it more open to communication, just make it more than what it is now, and essentially it will be a better place for it. Certainly not everyone agrees that it needs betterment, but it seems to me from reading those interviews that Verence did, people do believe it needs to be bettered in many of the ways I mentioned, and others here are mentioning, and there is nothing wrong with making a community better, so there should be nothing against it. I am not offended that you say that Oskar, because that's how you often are in these sorts of threads, but I also won't apologize for something that I am doing deliberately with thought put into it. We need this, to work together to bring about change, and we can outline as much as we want, but I think that we are beating a dead horse when we say things like, lets take a poll, let's outline thus again, and all I hear is lets do the same thing we've always done until we areso tired of it for the third time that we give up. I urge us to make decisions, because whatever a single person believes, it seems fairly c,ear that something has to get done so that we can follow a path that leads us to an RPC we can all enjoy. This thread is nearly identical to the last two, and will end just the same if someone doesn't make some choices, hard or not, on what needs to be done. I'm not speaking from the standpoint of a shell, I'm not ONLY speaking from the standpoint of the current community, I am also speaking from the standpoint of fellow future RPers who will come to this site, and think all the negative things about this site that we've discussed and run for their lives away from such a great opportunity that we have here. So, again, I urge us to make a decision on something.

OKAY, thank you Eva for so kindly searching out those links, and bringing them to the forefront. It is an eye opener to read them, and frankly it has pushed me into posting so soon after I just posted earlier today. This is it...this is the thread, the time, that we need to change. We are looking for change, we need to do it, and stop bickering and fussing over random things that hold no relevance to this situation. If nothing else, we are looking like we have nothing left to lose at this point. There is little to no faith amongst the different groups in the RPC, and on top of that, the well thought out discussions we have begun, very unfortunately devolve into less that human arguments over randomness. I think we need to stop that here, and make a decision here! Continuing from this point on, we need to decide which of these ideas is clearly the best, and work towards them. When you post to the person before you, just leave out the comments that aren't relevant to the discussion, and only work from a place of growth. Tensions, egos, and opinions on anything else besides how we can change, and better our community need to be left at the door, and we need to get this moving or this thread like those before it will become pointless. If you feel that little nagging feeling over something someone said that you think is slightly offensive, ignore it, move on, feel in your self that what we are trying to do here IS important enough that our own sense of self will come second to the community from a leader's standpoint. I implore you this favor please! I truly want something to come of this community, and the only way we can do this is if the leaders gathered here work together, and make decisions so that Kylin can carry them out, and we can be better for it in the end, or else only sink a ship we've already sunk and be no worse off. I am begging again, please for those of us who are coming in, or coming back, who don't have a community to reach out to, but desperately want one! Before I finish the groveling part of this post, I want to say that: I know how you all feel. I may not be a big shot here, I may have just come back from a long hiatus, and frankly I'm not technically even playing until next month, but I know what this is about. I've felt that little voice in my head that says: "Be angry!" "They insulted you! Be passive aggressive just to get under their skin...!!!", but having been the leader of many an RP group in the past, across many different fandoms, we as leaders need to know when that voice is of no use to us and our greater cause as Leaders. Please, please, please don't let this stop because of personal hurts or opinions, please let it continue and become a real action and not just fruitless words. We all deserve what is best for the community, so let us make it what it yearns to be, and let go of all other views! Side note: You don't have to mention this paragraph, you don't need to agree with me, you can read it and pretend you never heard for all I care, all I ask is that you sincerely listen to my words, and understand that I am not interested in taking power from anyone or giving power to people beyond inspiring real and good change. In fact, it is probably best if not one gives a word to this, as that will prompt others to agree or disagree on it, and that IS NOT what it is for, it is said to each individual, from me to you, not from me to a random group, so please understand it that way. Enough of that, back to the "Let's do this yo!" part of this post. We have gathered a few talking points, things that have generally been agreed on, and could bring results which I have narrowed down to these: ~Clean it up! : Hence, we clean up the dead groups, clean up the overall look of the board by getting rid of some clutter possibly? Start with a cleaner slate than we've had in a while. ~Restructure it! : Hence, we restructure the way the board is run and the way it is organized. We regroup the guild area differently, possibly getting rid of the "levels of immersion", and maybe going with a simple "Sell our own points" approach, which is all still needing a bit more discussion and agreement. Secondly, (maybe) we create a board on which leaders from linkshells can organize and discuss what is needed when it is needed, that I think most people will probably hope that normal members can at least view and monitor on their own time. This group will have no power but to communicate and organize, possibly enough power to suggest things to Kylin to help better the board again should this come to further fruition, but any member of this forum has that ability here should they choose it. This should possibly have a sort of "Rules and Guidelines" in which we state what this leader's board is, how it works, basically outline it best so we can make sure it is doing what it's supposed to, and not what it isn't. ~Let's do it! : Hence, we actually do all that we say we are trying to do. Kylin, reads these posts, and the ones that Eva linked in, and takes what we will surely come to a decision on, and actually makes it happen! I know, again, let's discuss it more, but let's do it after we discuss it, and not dilly-dally shilly-shally all day over this nonsense when we know it needs to change. I took what Eva said to heart, she said that she saw everything, read it all, agreed with most of it, but wasn't sure what to do, and I think that is the point, it is the DOING that needs to be done to make this work! So let's band together and do this! ~Momo~

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys, I will certainly keep that in mind when I'm all setup nd ready to rumble early next month! I amal def ready to dive in somewhere, but I am gonna feel some groups out for my characters already existing and I hey don't fit, create some new ones from current ideas I guess. Oskar I do remember you! Good to see you're still around and kicking it seems. Can't wait to take his opportunity to reenter the community and not be constrained by the darn PS3 launch as I was before.

Certainement! Forgive the lack of agreeable ideas in my first post, but I just hoped that we could continue this discussion and wanted something on the table to be discussed period, bad or good frankly. I guess I would say that it would be nice to hear from maybe the less active of the Groups on their opinions rather than just the leaders of the clearly active (both here and within their own groups) and established groups. Not to say that I think it is pointless, but just to get a better feel for those groups who may need help sticking around? I am so happy to hear that some of you have so much going on as far as RP goes, but I think that a lot of this planning has more to do with growth rather than establishment. That being said, I agree that it has always been a corner stone of the site hat this was more a connection making engine rather than a place for a ruling body to be enacted, and with that sentiment, and in that spirit we need to connect. This site in the coming months is undeniably one of our best resources for growing the community and organizing what we already have, better. Grand events, IC or OOC could be organized here for those groups who feel that they can work together on some larger scale, new LS can be given some recruitment priority, and those who have enough members can keep closed recruitment as it is now. Restructuring, or cleaning up I think is sort of integral to that, insofar as the new members can see oppurtunities better whether they will come back or not, I think from a community standpoint that looking organized and in contact will help foster members we have into coming back as well as better encourage new members to keep faith in our community as a whole. I know I know, maybe we don't want to people who give up at the drop of a hat, but even I came back and was a little discouraged though certainly willing to keep eyeing the situation around the site. I think I will come back to the group merging idea that I originally posted, and agree that with many of the groups this is not possible unless they give up some of their major foundational points, and therefore not a valid solution, but I think that idea came from the spirit of group communication between at least the leaders to form a stronger unified presence here. I think that has a possibility of better handling recruitment organization and group degradation in the long run IF the leaders can be agreeable and share info and ideas. With that does come the statement that it isn't the leaders of he groups to actually conform to such and idea of community with increased communication and organization, but I think I would say to that maybe we need to bring out that sense of natural community that lies within most Final Fantasy (any game) gamers. So felt in FFXI, a gaming community that I feel is unlike most others I've experienced, where we actually take the time :joker: out of our day to interact wh one another and help one another towards our individual goals, a scenario I have experienced many times. We need to find the spirit which Is necessary to counteract the widely known and greatly disheartening flare for drama in any RP community, much less one where it is amongst fellow gamers who then bring RP into that fold. I will admit, I am a bystander of this situation of course, I am not a member of a group, and not a leader of anything here, but I do hope you take my sincerity in that I wish all of us to succeed in our future paths wih this amazing world and these great people I know are around us ~Momo~ Edited to fix iPhone typing errors...

I posted in the Forum Advert thread as well, and I think I mentioned this a bit in there, but I would love to explore it more here as well! I totally agree, we need a new system with as few members as we currently have active. Taking into account what was said above, I agree that perhaps it is best for now to reorganize until we get more members in the coming months so that we can have something to work towards when the time comes, and maybe go back to this setup if it is plausible, or different one that accommodates larger numbers while working better in general. I also will come back with this: Let's keep our community strong in any way we can! If that means cutting down the number of groups to make stronger groups already active, then I think we should contact the group heads, and seriously consider it. If that blows some people's tops, let's come up with something else. Individuality isn't as important right now as keeping this community afloat until we get 2.0 and PS3 release, so that people having something to find when that happens. I am certainly not saying anything here as a must, but I feel it is imperative that we start some sort of dialogue on this front? Okay, so right now we have 3 classes: light, medium, heavy. As Oskar said, each of the "Heavy" LS have an OOC ls to work with as well, so let's consider getting rid of the levels altogether, especially since Kylin said that some of the groups still listed aren't active as is. We have one level of group here, somewhere between mid-heavy range, with OOC linkshells to boot the members into activity when RPing isn't happening. That in itself is a god coping mechanism for groups who having dwindling activity in RP, who maybe don't want to work with other groups to gather strength. I could suggest maybe a community run "Light RP" shell, if there are indeed members out there who need light RP instead of the medium to heavy stuff, though I don't see as much evidence from what we have that the need is there. I don't mean offense to you either Kylin, but waht about communication with the leaders of each group? You said you weren't sure if some of the groups were even still active, so I am just wondering how much you keep in contact with some of them? If it isn't much, then maybe have a new mod, or a mod that is active right now, go ahead and start keeping a list of the contact information for each head of group, including emails so that if they don't frequent here as much, you can get ahold of them somehow? I know that is sort of invasive, but I don't think it is a lot to ask for this community to keep going as a whole wherever the new features of our world take us. Okay, as usual with me...there is a lot here, so I will leave it at that and check back here soon! Let's get this party started yo!

Hihi all my fellow RPers, Been quite some time, but I am back after almost 2 years of desperate waiting. Dunno if I introduced myself back then or not, but I am reintroducing myself now, and I suppose that's all that matters! Once upon a time...I was a member of AETHER on this site, but seeing as PS3 (which I bought with some overworked immediacy when I learned that this game would be played on it) hasn't come out yet, which cut down our members, and 2.0 isn't up yet, it seems that the group just ain't gonna cut it for now, and is no longer listed here. However! I caved, and am buying a nice big gaming PC in May. So now I am back...and apparently whether I am raring to go or not, I am flying free as a bird as far as RP groups, which while it seems nice and breezy...is a little depressing...alas, let us give it another go! Let us see where our adventures take us! And for gods' sakes, let us get this forum going again, because I need RP! Okay, if you're looking for a Mid to Heavy RPer who can do any kind of RP, and fill roles as needed, please look no further! ~Momo~
-
Well all I can say for sure, is I am coming back, as I am tired as heck of waiting for the PS3 to come out, and just bought a computer to satisfy my craving for FFXIV. I am seriously hedging bets on 2.0 improving this game to an extent that hasn't been done before, and hoping that people can handle the switch while also drawing in new players in general, much less RP. With that said, I agree with most of what you both have said, and I suppose I have a couple rather random suggestions. Above all, I will reiterate, be active! Being active with the LS is so important to keeping the community alive, I have just logged in after quite some time away, and was a little scared that the community was dwindling down too much. Perhaps it is the waiting for the new version to come out, but then again, maybe not. The LS I originally was a part of, died out after only a couple months, so I knew that it may be the same for such a large number of groups when I came back, but we still have some! They need to stay active, if nothing else, if you feel you are dwindling down to no members, join together if possible so that we have strong groups to support our foundation of incoming people if we manage to get more (which we will of course). I know that it may not be possible with the varying practices in each shell, but what must be done, must be done? A group of 3 very active strong shells, versus a group of randomly active 8 shells: seems kinda obvious which i would rather have. Timing is everything, but perhaps we need to get adverts going no earlier than the beginning to mid part of May, when the changes will begin enacting. A closer second round of adverts wouldn't hurt about 2 weeks from 2.0 going live as well, as a pick up in gaming advertisement in general, mixed with our own adverts could bring some more people in. Lets not forget a long term plan for PS3 players as well...though that is quite a bit of time away past the beta. As far as on other sites for the game, I think we need to create threads in their forums as well as any other kind of advert we choose. When doing so, we can also create a list of thread links (on our own board) to other places so that we can have the community members that are active on those forums, post on our thread to keep it up and active. Many sites allow advert threads if you are willing to do the same for them as I am sure most people know. Wouldn't hurt to have some people go and ask where they can find good RP, and create a dialogue that way as well by having other people from here post back to them with our link, as well as some info from other posters on what it is we do here. I do have a few questions though: Have we tried getting onto fansites at the Loadstone? If so, how did it turn out, and what do we need to do to make ourselves a part of that? Have we tried contacting SE about linking up with them in any other way, hence an RP server and such? If so, how did that turn out, and what ways can we try to do that more in the future, whether sending individual feedback, and what not as well as from the community as a whole through prominent members? Have we contacted the leaders of our currently active shells on the site recently? Who is the most active, who updates the most, who can we get to help spearhead some of this other than a few random members posting here? Maybe if you are an LS leader, you should have a responsibility to the community as far as tie ins with our future plans, if that is too much for those already fairly active, perhaps a liaison from each group who is fairly active, but doesn't have too much on their plate? For now, their is quite a lot of work here, so I suppose I will leave it at that, and check back soon. Sorry for the longness of this, I am just excited to be back after having waited to play this game I love for too long. Can't wait for next month when I can join everyone here, and hope we can get this thing (the game included) off the ground in the coming months!

This may not be the place, but I am wondering if my set up will work if I will need to have a backup plan. I have a macbook that I will be playing on, and while it's ability to run the game is not the issue its ability to run the game without windows is. Parallels 5.0 is on the way, but just as I ordered it, I had some friends tell me that it may not help me in any way to run the game. I will be installing Windows 7 along with parallels in the hopes that the game will run off of it, but they were still concerned about it. Ideas or opinions anyone? I was wanting to put my mind at ease, but honestly I can instal it with bootcamp if I must as a last result...the only reason I didn't want to is because I don't really like windows and know I won't be using it for any other reason than to play this game so I didn't want to partition my hard drive just for that (however I will because I want to play this game so freakin bad my eyes are crossing). Anyways, thanks in advance for any advice or comments. ~Momo

I am already impressed with what she has done for me and my website and I haven't gotten the final work yet lol. I implore her to keep on going, for she is amazing and deserves all the praise that you guys are giving and more. Real talent and inspiration are clearly no problem for her! With Sincerity, ~Momo~
