This is why I think Miqo'te make good Lancers/Dragoons. And as demonstrated twice by two new Miqo'te NPCs, they seem to make incredible Archers.

It makes perfect sense when you consider this game was not designed with roleplay in mind.

Edgar enjoys being pet. He absolutely relishes those few moments when someone strokes their hands through his hair or scratches his ears ever so gently. And his response to this lavishing of affection is typically some form of purring. Now this is typically restricted to those he really likes, but he also does brush up against their person, all cuddly-like. Honestly, I don't care what people say. I won't play down the importance of the Miqo'te's culture, but I won't play down the fact that they have cat ears and a fluffy tail, either. If I want to play my Miqo'te as acting cat-like, I'll do so.

What defies me is not the fact that there are people who troll roleplayers. That is to be expected. What defies me is that they are normal people who complain about the presence of roleplay on dedicated roleplay servers. That's like swimming in notoriously shark infested waters and being pissed off by the over-abundance of sharks. What the fuck did you expect? A shitload of krill? Why are you here, in a roleplay server, if you have no intent to roleplay and/or dislike roleplaying in general? Are you some sort of masochist? You can't be, because you're bitching about it! And if you're here because you couldn't access any other servers, which doesn't happen nearly as often as it used to, that's still no excuse to be completely and utterly ignorant of the fact that roleplaying servers, surprise surprise, have roleplayers on them!

Hands were easy to get the hang of, though mine could still be a little more smooth. Where I seem to have the most trouble is the frame of the human body... ...Specifically female bodies. THEY DEFY ME.

Oh god, here we go. Okay, I draw. Or more precisely, I drew. My last drawings were made in 2010. Since then, I've been on a 4 year hiatus, mostly due to self-esteem issues, a particularly devastating breakup, and just general lack of inspiration. It's beyond an art-block. It's like my hands just don't want to pick up the pencil anymore. I hope to change that. Until then, though, here are some of my drawings from across the years, and only those I consider my personal best. It has been painfully pointed out to me that my proportions, perspective, and anatomy need some work, so when it gets bad, it gets bad. One fellow who shall remain anonymous, even had the gall to call it "dA-quality art", as if to say that my art typifies most of the galleries on that site...Which I consider to be a cruel statement, keeping in mind what dA is infamous for. Also, I like to elaborate on the backstory behind characters, because for me, story is everything, so I included some lore tidbits with the pictures. Alright, on with the show. Do you know how many people have asked if my main's name was inspired by Edgar Roni Figaro of FFVI fame? Well, they're right about the first name, anyways. The name Edgar is a nod to the Power Tool-wielding maniac. The rest of the name, however, was entirely made up on the spot. Von Gandervalt, or "Of Gandervalt" isn't an allusion to anything; I just thought it sounded nice. I've been told the name sounds Garlean, which works for me, because ICly, the name is an alias.

Have we all forgotten that many of the NPCs in the Job questlines have Relic weapons?

According to the this post... Essentially, the defeating of the Primals may be more of a standalone gameplay element used to pad out the length of the Job's questline, rather than one supported by Lore.
