A'to's Little Leather-Bound Sketchbook
little-patchy replied to little-patchy's topic in Artisan House
(OOC) Mar. 04 (Telegraphs) So, I guess I'll put my non-A'to's-sketchbook-stuff here as well, 'cause I'm too lazy to make another thread... Featuring Rhysati, Ilwe'ran, Fynnick (random Duty Finder BLM), and A'to and sorta inspired by real events . Props to the former three for defeating the last boss with A'to...peacefully asleep. (OOC) Mar. 04 (A'to, Random Roegadyn sketches) -
This is a thread of art with an obvious title.

The Fina work-in-progress reminds me of Art Nouveau posters (). I wonder if Inquisition cards are influenced by that style. Anyways, your art looks lovely!! -
Benedict Cumberbatch's voice.

omg the mini-Stormtrooper!! Sooo cute!

I don't, I'm totally unable to draw ._. Ty for your comment ♥ "Totally unable to draw" -- yet draws amazing pixel art. So humble... No I'm serious, I can here because it's all small, but giant picture, I just can't and I'm in awe in front of people who can. Beside, I don't have a tablet, all what you see is mouse "drawing" ^^ Actually, professional artists usually put a lot of effort into thumbnails when designing their works. So, the fact that your "small" pictures look so good means that your bigger ones will look better than you think . And being able to draw with a mouse is a very cool thing, you know. Don't sell yourself short!

Wow, they're so professional!! I can see them appearing in a RPG already. Oh, and I really wanna view your non-pixel art as well, if you do them.

Hi! Can you put A'to Meme on the waitlist? Thanks!!

A'to's Little Leather-Bound Sketchbook

@Cliodhna: You can bribe me with a strawberry cheesecake-- Ah, wait, I'm on a diet. @Bubumo, Warren, Ilwe'ran: Hehe thanks ! I'm finding that RPing really inspires me to draw more. -
So dedicated -- to be able to draw even with the flu . That being said, hope you feel better! And, yes, she is cute!

A'to Meme keeps a little sketchbook in which he draws people he meets and places he's been; here are some pages from that book! EDIT: I'm totally too lazy to keep everything in this IC, haha. There'll be a bunch of OOC stuff as well :moogle:. Maybe I'll make an IC thread someday...

Looking for Friends and Travel Buddy!
little-patchy replied to Gurren Dai's topic in Chronicled Connections
I'd love to RP with you! I'm sorta a newbie to the RPing scene, and even though I've played the game for some time I've yet to learn even half of the lore, so it'd be fun to experience things with some new friends! And, yeah, RPing while walking from one city to another sounds so fun! -
Doodle Doodle Doodles, the Moogle and the Doodle
little-patchy replied to little-patchy's topic in Artisan House
@Haven: Thanks! @LiveVoltage: If I decide to do commissions, I'll start with you! 2014_08_14: New, random-ish drawing. That lalafell needs friends, I think. -
"...will select...based on originality and creativity." Hmm, I wonder how creative a person can get with 50 words and five or so screenshots, but there are some very clever people. Maybe it's more about entertaining the judges than advertising your character? At least, that's what I'm thinking of doing (the entertaining thing). I pretty much only have one fleshed-out character, so, Ame, it's time to get photogenic!

Doodle Doodle Doodles, the Moogle and the Doodle
little-patchy replied to little-patchy's topic in Artisan House
@Sylvain and LiveVoltage: I'm not sure about taking commissions yet because I fear that I won't be able to set aside enough time to work on them. Plus, I'm slow at drawing and frequently have art block . Maybe, in the future, I might do simple head sketches or something like that -- something that won't be too daunting for me, hopefully. @Jancis: Ahahaha! 3D eyes! I never even thought of that. -
Doodle Doodle Doodles, the Moogle and the Doodle

This series of images is going to be something of a sketch dump. I'm sooooo bad at finishing things; if my job were to make hot dogs, all my hot dogs would somehow lack ketchup and relish. wtb Remilia Scarlet from Koumajou Densetsu 1 and 2 as a trial/boss. Roxas, Ame, Is'thera, and Y'kana By the way, is there a guide for how to do the spoiler tags and linking and such in threads? I mostly guess how to do this, and things do go wrong sometimes... -
From my experience, anyone will do, depending on whether Team B has enough tanks/dps/healers (for example, if the team only has one tank to help peel opponents off its healers, it shouldn't send the tank to guard the outpost). The outpost's defender's job isn't really to fight off all enemies, but to let the Alliance channel know that there are enemies "incoming." Once the entire Alliance knows, people, whether they be in Team A, B, or C, will usually stop by to protect the outpost.

Should have gone all Reggie Fils-Aime with that .

Quoted for truth. Also, I hate it when a whole party focuses on me (WHM) and no one from my party does anything to help me ;_; I wonder if there's simply nothing others can do, I actually don't know. As a healer, I've met some good Paladins who'll peel my attackers off me using their Shield Bashes and whatnot -- makes me want to give them a kiss . Other times, I hit the PvP skill Attunement (which grants, like, 90% evasion and damage nullification for ten seconds -- the offside being that you're inactive for the period) and happily watch the pile of enemy Paladins, Marauders, Monks, and Dragoons whale at me for nearly no damage to my health bar. It's super funny to watch, too, because my character is a tiny little lalafell. ...Then, ten seconds later, and the dream is gone...

Are you a Twin Adder? I you want to, we could team up. @ExKage: I, on the other hand, can't predict which team will win in a given match; sometimes, Twin Adder's teamwork is amazing and we lead the entire match. Other times, nearly no one uses Alliance chat, so you can guess what happens...

I feel like Wolves' Den has been made obsolete. Whether or not your grand company wins you actually get nice rewards (exp and wolf marks wise) as the companies are ranked, 1-2-3. You always get a reward and it seems sorta decent. I think this means morale/pvp gear are all now -just- vanity. Which I guess is fine. I'm not butthurt about it. I -am- butthurt about the queues though. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/news/detail/4c21d3bf85cb6f65e6b11298f7826c9b66cff4ab And considering how pretty the gear is, I'm perfectly okay with them being placed in vanity status. Like Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart (yeah, it's distant for an analogy), there's a lot of fun to starting a match on a more-or-less equal slate so that we can use tactics and pure-dumb-luck to win/lose/have a lovely time. Hopefully, Square-Enix will add many game mode varieties in the future. Oh, and it looks like Yoshi-P and co. are going to fix the queue issue. Yay!

Awww , well, I'd love to follow any of your gaming tumblrs (if you're okay with that).

Happy to see a good number of people trying out Frontlines! I sure hope it'll be chaotic fun -- or something with less pressure than Wolves' Den. @Sastra: I'm a Serpent, though I'm wondering if I should switch to Immortal Flames, as most of the RP happens in Uldah...
