I got me a fancy new.... whole lot of nothing. :3

Well, we are really active RPers, as you guessed Sigil. Both me and Eva keep journals for our characters that are pretty extensive (hers more so than mine) and record things as they happen. I believe Aysun acknowledged both new years in her journal. Things occur and are dealt with over time. Major events occurred for our characters over this time. Something very traumatic that occurred two years ago vs. earlier this year? I mean it's a given it messes with the character to try to condense it.

I also have two years of RP that apparently happened in one year. Meh. I will have to play as if launch was 1570. The only real issue (which would hopefully NEVER come up in RP) is that Aysun has had the Echo from the beginning, but the starshower event thing didn't happen until 1572... Gah. Messy. Smile and nod.

Aysun seemed quite relieved when Eva responded to her subconscious begging for assistance. She nodded slightly to her words in agreement. She folded her hands in her lap quietly as the subject changed. Babies were to be the subject, and she did not chime in as the two spoke. Instead she sent little glances at E'iri as he moved and made that odd noise. She offered an attempt at a smile to him as he settled. Seemed he was going to sit there now. She didn't protest further, the distance was acceptable now.. well, compared to before. "I'm probably goin' to stay around here this evening. 's too late for me to be heading back to anywhere else. It'll be dark soon," she said as she glanced up at the canopy. It was already darker than normal due to that. She wasn't about to try to find her way back to Gridania or Thanalan at night if she didn't have to.

Every time they go into a jumpjumpjump I'm like STOP DOING THAT. Otherwise, super cool.

Aysun took a sip of tea from her cup, closing her eyes momentarily. She startled just slightly when suddenly the 'And then?' from E'iri was far closer than she had expected. Mismatched gaze flicked to E'iri as he leaned in and questioned her, hiding behind her teacup a little. "Well-" she started, for some reason glancing to Eva and then to Manari, before peering back at E'iri. Too close. Huh. His eyes were like hers, a bit. Too bad they were IN HER FACE. She tried talking again. "Well- there are serpents.. but we didn't go that far out to sea often. And.. aye, the desert's got some nasty things. So 's the Shroud if I ain't mistaken." Casually, she looked again to the other two women.

Well, we'd only be doing it for fun, since everything we do is not going to be saved (story and level progress/weapons/etc). Personally I want to make my hubby finally see the GC/Dalamud storyline since he is obsessed with the End of an Era trailer. xDD

But, on that note, the story will be revisiting the original storyline finally, that is.. The Echo, Ascians, The Twelve, etc. We'll get mooore on that finally. They had to put it on the sidelines while they recreated the game. Thus the Grand Companies and the Dalamud/Bahamut storyline came about as a means to restart it.

I just want to watch cutscenes and compile NPC dialogue/info for the wiki.

Yep. This was announced previously after the last player survey. That's why I've been saying for a month now that 'when the servers come back up I'm going to..'

Aysun smirked at Eva, amused by her comment, her own tail flicking as she looked to the other two Miqo'te. "True enough~" Her mood had improved immensely. Light-hearted conversation was a great distraction from everything else. She helped herself to a bit of meat from the pan and nodded to Eva's offer of tea. She then spoke to E'iri, "I'm from the sea. Born 'n raised." Her accent was certainly not as pronounced (or terrible) as most sailors, but it was certainly there, Lominsan. She paused, her smirk returning, "It's wet, and big, and blue." Deliberately vague, she was obviously teasing the meek male. "'s all it is, though, really. Thanalan's much better, warmer and dryer.. usually." She nodded, chewing a piece of meat, appearing content. It wasn't the salmon she came for, but it was pretty damn good. She didn't remember the last time she'd had dodo prepared.

Aysun's frown fell away as Manari met it with a smile. She seemed to make no effort what so ever to ease E'iri's obvious discomfort, however. She was keenly aware that he had taken his seat with some intentional distance, as she often did this herself. She yawned slightly as Eva offered food to the male, simply listening. He was another 'forest born' as they called themselves, it seemed. "Seems I'm the odd one out here."

I never sent off for mine.. I wonder if they're still making them.

Aysun straightened up a little as she was introduced, taking it as an invitation to join the two at the fire, even if it really wasn't at first. She plopped down unceremoniously near the fire with a huff, laying her fishing rod next to her with a tired, "Yes, please," to the offer of food. She gave Manari little more than a nod in greeting. She observed as Manari immediately changed focus to the little male--E'iri?-- and narrowed her odd eyes slightly at her. Twelve, why didn't she just throw herself at him now? Bloody.. males. Oh, she was in such a mood lately. Manari was just being friendly. She turned her attention to Eva, a little irritated none the less. She glanced up briefly to the canopy, and then to Eva with a simple, "Smells good though. How are you?"

I'm sure there are a few people here that RP in English and it's not their native language, so you're not alone. I have never been offended or put off by someone /telling me and asking for clarification on something in RP or elsewhere. I'd rather you ask than misunderstand! I try to avoid using flowery, unnecessary words in RP. Forum RP is a lot more descriptive and long, and that's where I tend to see people bringing out the thesaurus because they don't want to say 'eyes' or something. In-game, it doesn't seem to be as common. We use simple words and shorter posts to keep things moving.

[spoil]I've gotten lazy with physical descriptions because I'm so used to having a pretty character in game. ._. -points at avatar- THERE.[/spoil] Aysun had come for salmon. These days, it was the simple pleasures in life that were cherished by her, and the Shroud was the only place she could ever catch salmon. And so there she'd gone, traveling all the way across Eorzea from her usual haunts in Limsa Lominsa for a stinking fish.. which she had failed to catch after several bells at a stream nearby the camp. Needless to say her mood was rather sour due to this. She was hungry, and the stale bread in her satchel was going to be a disappointing dinner. She headed towards the camp with the intent of settling for the evening there. The Shroud was dark enough as it was during the daytime, she didn't particularly want to wander around at night here. As she approached the camp, the smell of something delightful and spicy cooking reached her.. as well as the shrill whistle of a kettle. Who the hell traveled with a kettle? Well, Eva did.. She entered the camp opposite of the source of the sound, searching around for it as it was quieted by its owner. Recognition of who that was took only a moment, and she immediately altered her path to the woman.. and stopping abruptly nearby upon realizing she had company already. Unfamiliar company. She eyed him warily, seeming to size him up. He was puny, kind of like her, and seemed far too nervous to be a threat to anything at the moment. Still, she hesitated, watching them.

Now if we only knew what happened after Bahamut went crazy. Did he go somewhere and 'disappear'? Presumably he did.. because they have to rebuild..

TBH I think the main storyline with the Echo and Milfina(sp?GAWD) and all that was completely unrelated to the GC/Dalamud storyline for the most part and will be continued/restarted in ARR.

Shh, Keisuna, don't encourage it! Honestly, there will be a TON of male miqo'tes. But you should go with what you feel like. Welcome back!
