I always put very great care in what goes where and why. The papers near or on my Negui's bed is from working late. The yarn basket he keeps tucked away is hidden in different areas. One spot in the fc house and one in his office and one snuck closer to his bed.. because he really likes yarn and hides this from people though hes such a kid. (and I ensure its so subtly placed no one notices right away till I say something) Usually all the items have meaning to me in some form be it IC or a silent ooc tribute to old toons I use to play that mean something to me like a simple music box (because I'm a sentimental loser). But in the end it's very much atmosphere is everything. Just like Sophiane's prize piece is actually her vanity and over all else in her room, spends the most time there. So it has the most items on it. Damn vain creature.

Adding my penny's worth, I have definitely been one to play both aspects of the gender pool. In the past I use to always play female toons when I first started but yet had issues of the other player growing a attachment that would uncomfortably shift into rl and put in a spot. I have found playing a male toon so much nicer for my gender since it stays IC and I don't have so many worries. It seems more relaxing and many people have found my male toons from enjoyable, to even a pain, to even people saying I rp spot on. I find nothing wrong with it and yes as everyone said here, if someone has a issue its because they wished for something irl which this is rp! They are fawning over the toon.. not the actor (rper) which only tosses a glimmer of themselves into the character. Enjoy the rp! Its suppose to be fun! And if people have issues that is their issue. All I say is communication is important Always communicate! Set down lines so it doesn't become bad later ;-; (been there done that and I'm such a softy ooc compared to all my babies I play) And have fun!

I am personally always looking for connections. Scheduling is best for me since i'm a busy person IRL too. I have main story for myself BUT I love playing support as well. He is mainly a healer type anyway.

I agree yes and no but sadly in the end people do whatever they wish and I have come to the mentality to always expect people to walk up. That being said my group and I were doing a nice little rp in party chat and people still walked up to us. We did nicely pm them and told them we were doing a 'scene' where the area we are at was not what you all see. Even such.. we still had people. In the end. I guess I mentally gave up on politeness but I /do/ ask my members and myself ask permission before entering things. The issues is do others follow such a polite rule? No they do not. So my personal rule (whether i'm right or not) - Be polite to all rpers and always /ASK/ before jumping in .. but mentally brace and expect people to jump in because not everyone has manners or etiquette. Party chat or not. I still had it happen but I just learned to accept it and not get upset. If they stay they stay even after I pm them letting them know. But I do always welcome watchers! <3 watchers.

Reading all your posts (and yes I read them all... crazy me). I agree with this and a lot of people's views. I have rped in this server a damn long time and I believe if you see it, it should be used against you BUT not everyone believes this. I for one rp a lot of illegal activity and won't shun someone running up to arrest me if that is the case. BUT not everyone sees it as this. Not everyone quickly moves their rps to party which should be done if they don't want open people to run in. Though I'm running a criminal event I have 'asked' people not to ruin it for those of ill aligned but hey I won't tantrum and storm if its broken up by officers or something WAY later in the day. We have no control over anyone nor should we ask control if its not possible. (and that's why I'm trying hard to find a super far away place for the event I'm doing) In the end open rp is open rp and is a invitation to all. If you don't want people jumping in, then don't say it in say chat. Do it in private or in a area you 'feel' no one would be. As such placement is very much important and all rpers should consider it. Sadly not everyone does it.

At this time, seeing as I hate people having to decide which event to tend to, I have postponed the Iron Chef. I was having issues finding a slot on a Friday. Instead of me trying to squish myself in on a Friday, I have decided to create a poll (hopefully) I ask which day of the week is best for you that seems 'clear'. For now I saw Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Naturally since its in the week I may just make it a little earlier to 9pm EST (oh yay a hour) Though if you all have suggestions on Day of the week I'd be all ears.
