Update for February/March: It's been a busy month! Not only did we have a member crafted story (which was a bunch of fun), but we had a hand in other sponsored events. Soliloquy's Valentione's telegrams and Jancis's pilgrimage specifically. We are slowly gaining more of a presence in the RP community, and welcome the new members born of it! R'tashana's "Flesh + Blood" Soliloquy's Valentione's Singing Telegrams Jancis's Celebration of the Lover Pilgrimage And, of course, we will be at the upcoming Dogberry's Fortune Telling at Soliloquy We also still have our in-company events. Every Tuesday at 9pm EST is Treasure Maps, and new to our list is Adventure Time Thursday starting at 8pm EST. At Adventure Time Thursday, we will take in-character romps through game content, be it dungeons, trials, FATEs, levequests... All of the things! Finally, we are still accepting applications! Those who feel this is the place for their characters are more than welcome to apply. Don't be shy, we love RP! Hope to see you in game soon!

This is a fun idea. One question though, while I am well over 18, the character I have in mind for this is 14. If the 18+ rule applies to characters as well... Hmm, I could have another one that's on the grey moral compass.

Vaughn does have a teenaged son, but is very disconnected from him. Of course, he found out about the boy only three years ago, so... I mean, he's tried, but the way Vaughn was raised gives him a skewed view of how a parent should be to his child. That said, he does want another child to raise from birth or adopt a youngling, but it's not a goal.

They're really splitting hairs with this one. However, whenever I try to defend "selling" art for gil, the only thing I can come up with that makes an iota of sense is "If it's a craft, is trading in-game money for in-game items that someone spent time farming considered along the same line?" What artists offer is spending time to create something for an in-game purpose based on what the person buying it wants. I know this is a thin line, but it boils down to the same thing. Some of us can't do the traditional means of earning gil, but can produce it through another means and craft. I don't know, just an opinion. The gil options have been removed from my art thread in any case.

Vaughn frowns but nods at Jaques. "Make sure Miss Evangeline gets here quickly?" He turns to Angora with a sigh and a smile. "It's probably just hiding. Spiders like the dark and quiet and...it seems under there is is the most of both." He tilts his head as he kneels a few fulms from the bookcase. He starts to lean over to look for 'Salisbury', but thinks better of it. He turns back to Angora with an embarrassed smile. "Maybe...we should wait for Miss Evangeline to collect her 'pet', hmm?"

Vaughn hesitates slightly at the sudden commotions. The excitable kitten mewling and running around like...well, like the kitten's father. Loe jumping and cowering as the furball rubbed against his leg. The screech from Angora's room... Wait. Screech. He immediately reaches for Jaques's hand to drag him with toward her room. He calls down the hall, still trying to be quiet for the others to sleep, but announcing his approach to Angora's room. "Angora... Are you alright, sweetie?"

Prostitute Soulgem, here I come. This soul gem was held by your grandmother, she doesn't look like it now, but she was once finest fucker to ever grace eorzea. *drops soulstone, backs away horrified* Well, now I know what kind of soulgem Vaughn possesses...

Vaughn raises his brows in surprise. "A...spider?! I...wait, what?!" He looks to Jaques with uncertainty. "A...collared and belled spider... Wh--" He shakes his head, rubbing his temples. Finally, he looks to Eva. "What possessed you to bring a spider here? Why not leave it with...wherever you were planning to scare?"

Vaughn frowned, looking to Jaques as the taller man approached to be behind him, blocking Eva's entrance. Vaughn turned back to her with a confused look. "Salisbury? Who's Salisbury?"

Vaughn stirs from his light sleep, groaning lightly as he looked at Jaques, who was already awake. Confusion crosses their features. What could possibly have gotten loose? What did Evangeline bring into their home this time? Vaughn leaves the bed, reaching for his purple silk robe and tying it tightly around his slender form. Bits of the purposeful scarification peak from the left side covering his pec. He looks in the mirror and untangles his hair. "I'll ask." Jaques gets out of bed himself and pulls on a pair of loose pants before Vaughn can get the door open. He leaves his scarred torso bare as he crosses the room to see what the commotion was about. His right side purposefully scarred from just under the armpit to just above the hipbone in what looked like a banner. His left pec and side having an old burn scar from a significant burn. His left upper arm having a simple red and black armband. Vaughn opens the door to find Evangeline and raises a brow, still tired from lack of sleep. He speaks softly, "What do you need, Miss Evangeline?" Jaques smooths the hair of his beard from laying down while he listens to whatever Evangeline had to say.

I have BLM/NIN both at 50, SMN at 40. NIN is the most geared at this point of the three (i104), but I'm working on getting all of them up there. I have recently cleared T6 and am up to Ifrit EX. Finding any group to go to these with has been more than irritating and I would welcome a static. However, it must be noted that I do have a satellite connection, so I have that .8 second delay at all times, never mind the lag that happens during the game itself. I do my best to compensate, and it's just as frustrating to me when we wipe due to something happening that, on my screen, I'm out of the effect, yet the server data says I'm still there. Also, I will note that while you're not looking for these at the moment, I am also a 113 BRD and 103 WHM, working on getting WAR to 50 with a bunch of ilvl 100 gear waiting for me.
