Back on track!

Now nobody can tell me Vaughn is "too accurate". I'll show them this and say "This is a hyur, doing things my Wildwood with superior grace and eyesight does. He is not 'too accurate', and even Vaughn misses sometimes."

Ok! I'm back and sorry for those who have been on the list for forever! Holidays and personal issues got away from me, but I'm making a change. First, for those who are currently on my list, please contact me if you still want those commissions at a severely discounted price as I messed up bad with keeping in contact and finishing them when I said I would. Armi - Both of yours just need shading. Flats are done. Ilwe - We need to discuss the strange proportions of children and alter yours. Menelwen - Are you still interested after all this time? Second, after serious thought, I will be opening a cash option to pay for things! I will still be accepting gil, as the FC still needs things. Additional cash items will be available, such as making the art into a print, framing, and shipping, offered a la carte. I will have an itemized list soon. Third, and finally, Available slots will decrease to three instead of four to help me get everything together and get the commissions out in time and when promised. This includes persons with multiple commissions. For example, I've had a few who ordered more than one art, but we're lumped together as "Art a, Art b, etc." used to be considered one slot. This change will be, again, to help in getting the art to those people on time as promised.

We're looking forward to the trouble and chaos that comes with such a...spitfire, I guess! Thanks for the interest, and we welcome your ongoing plots! More RP for everyone!

Phoenix Rose is, though we are small. They are somewhat of an activist group (though this point hasn't been demonstrated as of yet), focusing on freeing and sheltering escaped slaves. Of course, this also means we accept those who want to aid in doing such. Vaughn has a speech pattern where he hesitates in the middle of speaking. It's to convey his slight stutter. Nobody seems to mind yet!

January Update: It was a busy holiday! Many of us were away from game and, therefore, RP was scarce. We did, however, manage to have a small Heavensturn dinner last Sunday, January 4th! Here is a brief recap!

Flirting... hmm... This one is tricky. When I made Vaughn, he was supposed to be beautiful and alluring just on looks alone, which is what made people interested in the first place. He never had to really develop flirting skills other than the occasional smile, smoldering gaze, small quick wink, and other tiny gestures. He was a whore so people came to him as it was just because he was pretty. When it came time to play him though, he became invisible. Nobody looked at him. Nobody cared. He struggled to be noticed and it wasn't until he got frustrated and pushy when he attracted the one person who ever granted him the time of day. So, yeah, push someone hard against a stone wall, spout your feelings forcefully, then walk away swaying your ass a bit

Interesting indeed. It does make one think if it will be a whole separate MSQ in their own land until unlocking airships and continue the familiar content then. At least, that's how they did new races in WoW. Then again, they didn't have the guild system. Which then raises the question, if that's the case, will Ishgard/Doma have the guild set-up with all guilds in one place, or just the new classes? Which would make rolling an Au Ra very limiting... Damn babbling brain...

Vaughn, once upon a time, belonged to the Archer's Guild, rose in ranks with the Maelstrom, and was selected as a Godsbow. He did questionable things at the time to rise so high so fast, and fell from those memberships even harder. Now, he doesn't belong to any guild and is hesitant to even apply.

That amount of grumpiness might break things. Still needs to happen. I shall take all necessary precautions...

Vaughn opens the mailbox to the Phoenix Rose. He sorts through the various pieces: welcome notes, a threat, advertisements to local businesses, a tax bill...and two strange packages. He goes inside and to the office to sort the items in their respective piles, but keeps the packages on the center of the desk. Finally sitting in the chair, he tilts his head. 'From the Sisters of the Red Lotus' is on the small boxes. One was addressed to him, the other addressed to Jaques. Curious, he's never heard of them before. However, he sensed something strange within the boxes. He thought they may be aetheric in nature, but not harmful. At least, not intentionally. He decides to open the box, and nestled in a small bed of straw was a small red stone with the engraving of a songbird. Vaughn smiled lightly, but sobered as the feeling of aetheric energy intensified. He pulled the stone out of the box and saw the energies wax and wane, fluctuating toward a constantly moving point. There seemed to be a path, but he couldn't be sure. He looked at the box for Jaques. Similar fluctuations emanated from that box. I'll wait until he comes home. After last time he thought of something to try on his own, it did not go well, and he feared going anywhere without that handsome Duskwight.
