Heya! I guess I've one or two, but not overly many...is there much activity here on the site for FC's or is it still mostly just forum based RP Other than that, I'm also tryin to find good discord groups that though may not be FC based, would be good for just social communication and possible RP partners, so do you know of any?

Heyoo folks! So, after what I think was a year(?) or so hiatus from ffxiv and RP'ing, I feel like I'm back to where I want to be mentally and capability wise and want to resume the fun I was having before! The reason for the hiatus is long and a sob story, so I won't bore you, but all in all I'm excited to check out the new FC's and find people to play with ^^ Below is a little bit more about me! MMORPG background I've about 15 years of MMO and RP history, actually hailing from the AOL chat rooms and IRC, and then more so from good ol PHPBB forums like this one. I've a ton of games and lore under my belt and always am looking to expand further RP experience As before, around 15 years worth of RP experience gives me a TON of flexibility with scenarios and styles, so I can say I'm happy to adapt! I found the coalition back in 2013 and joined right after getting a copy of ARR and began looking to make more RP partners and friends, but I keep it bookmarked so I've always known about it What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy) I'm a mix and easily can adapt, but I prefer medium over light and if it's heavy, we'd best make sure we've the time for it! Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.) I work from home, so I have a LOT of free time on my hands, but enjoy either in game RP or Discord should the option and want be available

Thank you guys both for the info, I guess my time on other servers has spoiled me too much for thinking there were massive FC still running about... I want to hear more about the smaller ones then or at least more LS as well since I've joined one that's meant for Suncat tribal RP! Anyone got any others they'd suggest for a more....mature theme? Something moderately sized, within the 30-60 range of people with (obviously) a RP mindset and mayhaps a theme? I'm just sorely without friends and confidants

How to scare off mobs 101 with male roe dancers.... Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing Doma fleshed out since the introduction to them, and Ala Mhigo would make for a nice outlying desert city. the Sam and dancers could definitely be wonderful additions to the class list, though I've some weapon reservations when it comes to Sam. Mayaps if they go to Ala Mhigo, would we possibly see Onion knight or another spellblade? I don't think that increasing the cap this next expansion would do us any good though right now, maybe in another one or two would be better suited for later players.

Wow, lots of choices, huh! I think having alts is nice, but at the same time is so difficult to make decisions or having to switch from alt to alt for scenes is too difficult...I guess I would suggest is play the one you like to play as an extension of YOU, that'd be the best one to use!

He breathed a small prayer to the twelve and joined up with the two before giving them a small smile, picking up a few coins that Lloyd had caused him to drop and slipped them into a small pocket somewhere in his jacket. He glared at the dead beasts and nodded to Lloyd, pointing towards where Gridania stood and smiled wider. "Since ye're the obviously most able o' us, how 'bout ye'take point? Oh man, the similarities in our storylines are awesome! I'd love the chance to mayhaps explore more together and learn of their Miqo'te roots if you were interested? Scaith even has rumors of possibly having siblings in the Sunseeker tribes in the Gridanian forests that could make for a hilarious arc! Send me a PM with your thoughts, k???
