I assume they'll just make them cost Mythology tomes (hopefully fewer than 900) or remove the cost entirely. I doubt they'd remove the relics entirely. Indeed I'm assuming that they'll make it so that the 900 Philo for the item would then be some amount of Myth (whatever ration of Philo:Myth with the NPC). Then 900 for the Zenith. Then the new tomes + whatever stuff they want to do for Zodiak. Sounds pretty lengthy though. I remember some interview saying that they were surprised by the amount of players with relics or so.

Should be some variation of "Letter from the Producer LIVE" which on the 21st will be the next one (XIII).

He found himself having quite a large amount of Miqo'te friends and a lot of times he could at least find one of them here. Quick and fast, his eyes returned to the two in front of him though he did see another Miqo'te enter the Quicksand, though she was not one of Kage's friends.

For what? I doubt that they're going to do 1:1 phlo/myth exchange? Even if it's 15:1, that's still myths in the bank. I have no reason not to cap philosophy. I'm just curious as to why this news made it seem like you suddenly wanted to do it. No offense meant, just was really curious by the sudden idea of it since I'm always getting tomes. Except myth cause of weekly cap.

Kage mused to himself if he'd see any of his friends or make any new ones. His friends were constantly opening up to new people and he'd started to wonder if he knew half of them in the linkshell. Perhaps he'd extend his help and friendship, and that of his own friends, to someone in the future by just meeting them today. He walked to the counter, dropping some of his gil to order some mulled tea and stuffed cabbage. He gave the proprietor a grin as he took the plate and cup in hand. Looking about the place he spotted a somewhat familiar Lalafell whom he had met in passing in Quicksand some time ago but was unable to get to know him well enough and a female Roegadyn speaking to each other. It seemed like there was some space for at least another and he approached them. "Hello, may I join you two? It looks a bit crowded elsewhere."

I have no idea what EVE is seeing as I had no real ability to play anything and as such didn't have the interest in seeing the grass that was greener.. But is EVE the game where a few gaming sites commented about having a gigantic space battle? Like in recent months? ^^;

Do not worry about what pace you're at, just be happy with it! :< And seriously it looks like they're really serious about Content Patches every 3ish months. If I remember correctly they wanted a year+ before 3.0. It's looking goooood. I'll probably not have Zodiak. I'm struggling to take down Ex primals and haven't touched any of the HM dungeons.

Kage meandered about the inn room, collecting his items and equipment needed for the day. Not that much was needed, he would just be going out into the table and bar area for some rest. He had just finished his trials and was anxiously awaiting the news of his passing. He was sure he would pass the Trial of Loyalty. How could he not? He grimaced as he reached for his shield and his sword, gritting his teeth as he stretched his sore shoulder. He rubbed a hand through his hair before rubbing his face with both. Everything seemed to revolve around the Sultansworn and his friends, but a couple of them were doing the Sultansworn things or... well he was honestly worried about Roen. She had been looking worse and worse each day but she kept carrying on. Kage didn't know what to do about it so he hoped that she would open up, but he didn't want to pry. Going to Natalie would just open up further ways for her to help him grow, not that he minded... Too much. Kage opened the door and left, locking the room. He would still be using it after all, but he decided that at least some mulled tea was in order. Perhaps some stuffed cabbages and an ale might relieve the shoulder ache.

*nod* As someone who plays PLD and BLM almost 50/50 now, I find the amount of stuff I can equip as a PLD much more appealing than I do as BLM. As BLM I get... robes.. and robes.. and er... more robes? Cloth ones at that. Never anything with a little plating involved. Wearing the Foestriker's tabard as a mage would just add a little awesome to it. Then again I think the tabard is amazing all day every day >_>; Or that new tank gear they showed in the preview. The one that both a PLD and a WAR are wearing. It would be amazing to be casting things in that. It's not horrible, the system. It's just... so far pretty lackluster. I just wish it was utterly amazing, but for now it's just ehh. Just like the 50 free teleports people who will have subscribed for a year will get. Eh. Ok.

I've been doing some CT and other things when I see ya pop on Steel. Lemme know here or in the Linkshell if you ever need me. If I gotta eat a 30min penalty I will. Just lemme know Unless I am in Eastern La Noscea in dungeon it means I'm most likely trying once again to clear T4 ToT

But as said, you -need- to attune to the aetheryte/shard to do so. To attempt to use a crystal or shard without having attuning would cause our bodies to essentially be ripped to shreds. I am assuming that Garleans cannot really just easily pay off the guards watching the cities' aetherytes. Or attune to the first unless they're spies.

I'm... well I'm not a crafter or a gatherer so perhaps this is why I'm just "meh' but those outfit crafted recipes / vanity items just look... "meh" I wonder why some of the stuff is geared to lvl 40 under though.

A problem I find with trying to stick to Eorzean time is that I've had long sessions outside where it... goes from night... to day... to night.. to day to rain to X.. it's not easy to fit that time constraint

As it is, the only benefit to the Glamor system is that I can PVP or PVE my end-game or dungeon things in the lower level gear that aren't fugly while not gimping my stats. I would -love- a lot of the ideas of how to change your look if it wasn't so restricted. I can understand the decision but it doesn't mean I can't wish they'd give me the chance to not look like every caster in the game with a crimson vest or like every other tank out there. As it is, it's just as if I equipped a gear set without the stats being gimped.

Clarification for those who have FC houses, they won't let you change the destination teleport to there. Only aetherytes.

The small Lalafell winced as he removed the equipment off his left arm and shoulder. He rolled his left shoulder several times before stopping. He clenched his left hand into a fist. Open. Close. It had been several days since Kage had fought with the female Roegadyn, Dennthota Ahtahrmwyn, and even more days since he had been in the mission gone awry with Natalie, Roen, and C'kayah. Both times he had taken hard hits to his shoulder, his shield arm. Without his armor that chaotic day against the smugglers-who-turned-out-not-to-be, Kage hurt his shoulder as he had been knocked down by the dangerous one with the lance. But who would be concerned about it when Roen was hurt? Certainly not him. He was and always more concerned about his friends, was Roen not one? So of course he did not may any attention to it. His slightly armored form against Denn did not fare any better considering the hard kick he had to absorb from the fight. Nor did being thrown into the air and crashing onto her head with his shield. Kage groaned and shook his head, rubbing his shoulder to work away at the soreness he felt gnawing away at it. Kage had just taken the Trial of Loyalty. He was going to have to wait on the results to see if his dream and aspirations would come true. He would pass, he was sure of it. That meant he needed to get this shoulder fixed. He needed to not be a liability. "I guess it's time to seek out a friend..."

I'm assuming this will be like the "Return" with some form of cooldown. So you can essentially just switch between the two and cut down almost all your teleporting fees. This will be very nice.

The problem is when you have lots of books to choose from and can finish a couple of them while you're out. >< In HS, I filled a whole compartment in my bag with 3-5 books for reading purposes while still needing to carry my load for the day. E-readers are so very helpful with minimizing the amount of things you need to carry. And papercuts. Quite a few of my books have evidence of my paper cuts T_T
