  1. I haven't been keeping up on Poke'mon ever since the.... second generation... I think? Either way, the only Poke'mon that I can come up with for one of my characters would be.... ....-drum rolls- Kirkirik Tirtirik as Sudowoodo! Why? Kirkirik is a Conjurer who can only really muster earth magick. A pseudo Geomancer. What other poke'mon would be better then a rock-type attempting to imitate a tree of all things?
  2. Zana'to Ranu: Retired red coat with a crazy wife, friends, and four kids. In the style of Wrestmania. Kirkirik Tirtirik: One of the wishes from Aladdin in reverse. Oh! Also rocks. Lots of rocks.
  3. I have seen several characters that would bend PvE spells in order to achieve a better spectrum of what they want. Say, a blizzard II freezing a greater distance, or perhaps even across a lake to form a bridge. As for one of my characters, Kirkirik is a Conjurer who can really cast earth spells. With that being said, I simply can't just have him cast the three stone spells. Instead, he can manipulate the earth around him into constructs for brief moments of time like a golem but one that can shape-shift. Another spell he once casted was a rock in the form of a stalactite that churned in the air, causing friction and when crashing down, exploded into molten earth. There is still the issue of the Elemental's whim on choosing not to do such destructive spells, but it is allowed on certain occasions... just not in the Black Shroud. Another spell that Kirkirik has managed to cast was an aetherial beam that had created crystals from it's path. The crystals themselves are not aetherial, but the beam is just earth aspected in order to manifest them. They tend to shatter after a moment and the spell is one of his more stronger ones that drain him greatly. Personally, I love seeing how people can manipulate or alter their perspective of the magic of Final Fantasy. It creates unique and interesting ways to solve problems as long as it isn't always a deus ex machina.
  4. For my first character, Zana'to has a gobbue that follows him around each time that he is in the Shroud which is a bit rare. Kirkirik on the other hand has a stone golem that he manifests every once in awhile with his Conjury to help with odd tasks. It acts more like a puppet though rather then a pet.
  5. Just a bit of a lurker in this forum, but if you want an RP friend then I can throw in my Lala-alt Kirkirik Tirtirik into the fray! He could use some more Lalafell friends.
  6. Hello! Lurker comin' out of his shell for a bit to ask all of you a favor! I am trying not to be a disgrace to everyone in this thread, but I've never had curry before, and I was curious if you all could give tips and pointers on how to make home-cooked curry. Yes, I know I could easily find a recipe online, but I would love to read some personal insight with curry lovers. I've been wanting to make curry for a good while now just so I could experience how it is. Also, for those who wonder why I haven't gone to a place which serves curry... Well, I have yet to find any that do, which is a sad sad thing. Anyroad! Anything would be appreciated and all the food looks delicious!
  7. During a quick trip to Ul'dah, the Keeper paused at the poster board when spotting familiar faces. Zana'to let out a noisy yawn, while his tail flicked back side to side. "...What the hell is Rah doin' in a Chef outfit? Is he gonna be the bouncer, bartender or what...?" He questioned, mostly asking himself. He scratched at his cheek while his expression went deadpan. "...Twelve help us all if Gan cooks.." He muttered, before heading off to the Wayfarer's Rest.
  8. I made these awhile ago for the laughs. I was thinking about putting Zana'to's card as apart of my signature but this forum is a better place for it. Varus is just one of my friend's characters that I conjured up out of boredom.
  9. I've lurked around for quite a bit, but I think I'll use my virgin post to add onto this. I really enjoyed looking at everyone's anime version of their characters. Male Miqo'te proved a bit difficult with the ear issue. \[T]/ Zana'to Ranu! PS: Noticed the character's eyes weren't right Also added the Keeper lunar tattoo as best as I could. D: Also, thanks for thee welcoming hug, July! -hugs back-
  10. Kakaru had remained silent as the three conversed about Aya's professionalism. The Lalafell was preoccupied sorting out his gil, managing it into a small budget so that he could effectively pay for the next round of drinks without breaking his budget. He set the gil in neat piles as it was for each drink before he nodded in satisfaction. "I agree with Kage." He chimed in, as his eyes wandered back over to them, "If she does not look the part, then there is less cause of suspicion. In a businesses offering, you would want to look more alluring then intimidating. The reputation is what talks when it comes to her profession." He said, as he added in his two yalms. Kakaru soon raised his hand, waving down a bartender as he slid the gil over, in an 'all in' fashion. He offered a warm smile to his new friend as he twisted in his seat. "A women with charisma is just as dangerous as a man with a dagger to your back... I heard someone say that before." He nodded as he crossed his arms, an eye peeking to view over Aya. "If I recognized the accent, then this one can be quite analytical too."
  11. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x73/Cocothe1st/5567de04-454c-4d7c-9e44-e0c75fe4f348.png[/img] "Kakaru Icha'Karu, and it's a pleasure to meet you as well!" He said with a raised hand in greeting while offering a soft smile. "I am glad that I am not the only one that is not familiar in Ul'dah." He chimed, as his smile widened. "Next round will be on me as well. I am afraid that Kage here will be broke by dawn if this continues." He jested as his elbow nudged on the gladiator Lallafel's gauntlet as he seemed to be warming up more to the crowd. His attention soon went back to Aya. "You have found the right people too. They have been nothing but kind to me since I have arrived in the Quicksand. It is as you put it, 'a lucky night!'"
  12. Kakaru wore a faint frown as both Natalie and Kage didn't seem to understand his ambition for the moment. He softly sighed and took a mild sip as his eyes wandered off to watch over Natalie and her antics with the women with the odd attire then over to the Roegadyn who looked even more intimidating then the normal giants. "...Well, at the very least that you did not mock me like my clan had done." He pointed out as he gave a melancholy smile. "More or less... If I could combine elements together... it can do a lot of wonderful things. Imagine if I could combine a fire and water crystal into a new form, in theory, it could create steam which could be used to power machinery. A sprite's core has even more lasting energy if I manage to use those." He attempted to explain as he scratched the back of his neck. "It is still a far off goal, but it does it's job by inspiring me into taking in more knowledge, right?" He chuckled, his mood brightening up once more as he polished off the rest of his tea. "It seems like a party is about to start if the crowd keeps building."
  13. "The elements.. yes..." Kakaru's voice trailed off as the sound of doors opening caught his attention. His brow would raise slightly at the quite unfamiliar attire the stranger had, even in Ul'dah. Though, his attention was stricken back to his newly forming friends when they put the spotlight on him once more. He only gave a sheepish smile, while poking his fingers together. "The people... of Eorzia wish to undo the damage that wrought of the lands from region to region. While, I wish to exploit it." He started off quite meekly, "The appearance of more aetherial crystals attuned to the elements has... brought interest to me. Even some crystals contain more then one element inside it and people have destined those impure." As he continued, his eyes started to flare up with life while his fists clenched. "I want to go even further and use alchemy alongside Thaumaturgery to mesh two elements into one singularity even to the point of transforming the sprites that roam the world!" Kakaru exhaled heavily, using all of his breath in the explanation. "That is why I believe the people of the Twelveswood would banish me. To keep me from combining their own superior Elements into something spectacular."
  14. He looked back up at his hair again but nodding, "Indeed that it is natural. Not to sure on how though. It is reminiscent of fire and water if you asked me." He mentioned with a soft chuckle. "I would not mind visiting Limsa, but I am sure that I would be kicked out of Gridania if they knew of my goals." He said, with his eyes squinting at the tankard of ale. "I am quite fine with what I have, thank you." He said, as his eyes looked over Kage and his armor. Natalie's words were easy to catch on as he rubbed at his chin. "A magister working on his swordsmanship is quite a feat. Though, it can come in handy in the long run... idealisticly."
  15. Kakaru took thought into visiting the renowned hair stylist as his hands absently ruffled through his hair. He soon caught the stare from Natalie then at Kage, in which he returned with a sheepish smile when the questions were asked. He shuffled on his stool and took a thoughtful sip. "Both of you are not far off, but I am definitely not an Ishgardian." He stated as he set down his mug. "Though, I am from the region of Coerthas to the point of the Ishgardians not assuming that I am a heretic." He pointed out as he drummed his fingers on the counter. "As for me traveling... perhaps I will more often when I get use to the blazing sun!" He chuckled at the small jest.
  16. "Aesthitician?" Kakaru pondered out loud as his head craned off to the side to view Natalie's and Kage's banter. He remained pensive as he listened to them both as his body rocked to and fro on the stool before his mulled tea was set next to him. He quickly cupped it in his hands and held it in his lap before turning his attention back on the two. "Being a Thaumaturge is indeed quite new to me as well, but I am somewhat familiar with Alchemy. Both have their own... flare, if you ask me." He nodded as his eyes wandered up to his hair, still wondering about what Natalie had said. He shook the idea from his thoughts and took a quick swig from the cup. "That is the only reason I have come to Ul'dah first and not visited the other city-states. I had wished to improve my Alchemy and if I can learn a trick or two of magick, then that is just a bonus."
  17. Kakaru frowned slightly as he failed to mention that he has not really been introduced to much of the different races. When the Miqo'te picked him up, it only made him feel like a wolf's bone and wasn't all that enjoyable. Though, he did managed to break out a soft smile but that quickly faded when Natalie came and ruffled Kage's hair. He reared back and held up his hands defensively while his eyes remained wide. "O-O-Oh... I am Kakaru Icha'karu..." He meekly said as his features slowly relaxed, his hands easing down to rest in his lap. He listened to the explanation, nodding to Kage's words before taking ahold of Natalie's hand, giving a firm grip. If they were observant, the Lallafell didn't show any signs of cringing when his bare hand touch the cold metal from the gauntlet. "So, both of you are Gladiators?"
  18. "Oh, yes please!" Kakaru beamed, "I assure you that I will repay the kindness some day. I tend to stick around for quite a bit." He said with a reassuring smile. He soon twisted his body to view over the railing and scratched behind his ear in thought. "Are you not worried that they call you 'snack size'? I mean, with the armor that you have on will prevent such a thing but...." He shuddered at the thought, "One Miqo'te by the name of Silent picked me up and used me as a pillow during her drunken stupor, but I fear what may have happened if she wants hungry!" As he told the story, his arms would flail about along other gestures to make it a bit more entertaining. From the outside looking in, it may have looked quite ridiculous when watching the two Lallafells while one flailed about like a fish out of water.
  19. "Kakaru Icha'Karu." He said as he returned the gesture with a grip of his hand and a firm shake. "Likewise in meeting you as well." He quickly added in with a sheepish smile while he took the chance to look over the Quicksand, and taking notice of the Miqo'te. A brow would slowly arch while his eyes wandered about the Quicksand for any others that could possibly seem familiar to him, despite it being so very few. "Oh! I came here because I have no idea where to go." He stated quite bluntly, "Th only paths I know is to the Alchemist's guild and the Thaumaturge's." He continued while thumbing over his staff. "Other then that, I find myself usually lost in Ul'dah which, mind you, is something that the citizens like to take advantage on." He exhaled, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "But, I digress. I have met several people who tend to give a helping hand then a sleight of hand." He paused for a moment as the mulled tea was sat in front of him. With a gleeful smile, he took the cup with both hands and drained it considerably fast. "To be honest, I find myself in this spot only because I had seen someone of my own... height." He chuckled, as he rubbed the back of his head. "I find myself slightly intimidated by ones that are graced with tallness." He seem to be half jesting as his lips curled into a smile. "So, I figured, 'Strength in numbers', right?"
  20. Kage would not have been alone for long as a small figure donning a purple cloak took a seat next to him. Kage could easily assume that the Lallafell that had no hesitation to sit next to him was a Thaumaturge due to the staff that was slung onto his back, with a crystal ball at it's end. With a gesturing hand, the stranger waved and offered a smile under the cowl. "Greetings!" The Lallafell chirped out before he reached for his side to place a few gil on the counter, ordering a warm tea. It took a moment of shifting around on the stool and placing the staff to the side that Kakaru Icha'karu removed his hood. The features of the Lallafell could be quite odd to some as his skin was a natural pale, but the most obvious part were the colors of his hair and eyes. Kakaru Icha'kari had heterochromia which caused one eye to be azure while the other was a dim red. Even the Lallafell's hair followed the color pattern as it was streaked with red and blue as well. Despite his eyes also being glossed over, it was clear enough that this particular little one was not a Dunesfolk, let alone someone that came from Thanalan. "What brings you to the Quicksand?" He would ask, as Kakaru turned his attention to Kage while he waited for the ordered tea to arrive.
  21. I really liked this concept and it is to the point where I made a Mountainfolk Lallafell! I never really had much inspiration to create a Lallafell but why not~! If any of you wish to find me. Search for Kakaru Icha'karu. Soon to be Alchemist and Thaumaturge.
