Yeah, Balmung and Gilgamesh (don't count us out, too!) are two of the hardest servers to land in. Just make sure you have your character details saved and try early in the morning. I managed to get my alt in at about 2am or so PST.

A link to your page, or an idea of how you *are* inputting the information in the template, would probably be helpful for this-- if you haven't figured it out already. If it's just showing up as a link, my educated guess is that you only need to put the name of the uploaded file, omitting the "File:" pretag. EDIT: And as said below, make sure you've actually uploaded the image you want to the wiki. That would help.

You'll have to actually buy the Collector's Edition of Heavensward to get these, they won't be bundled in with any existing CEs you have from ARR/1.0.

Very excited by all this news! I'll definitely be trying an alt of the new race with some of the new jobs if I can--and just as interested in finding out about why there's no base class for DRK, AST and MCH. ... Might actually give Kroe a gun. Who knows? And ALEXANDER. I'm really hoping to get into at least part of this, since there are two modes planned and-- well, our primal total for Heavensward just went up to three. Collectors Edition contents are neat and I want them, also. * Baron Helm * Mammet Kain * Flying Mount: Griffin * Physical version gets extra goodies, including a statuette of the story-related dragon mount.

Gilgamesh is a mixed community as it is: definitely a roleplayer contingent but we've also got the redditors and a sizeable hardcore population, so it's very much a "stick to ourselves" sort of thing. I still try to point people to here when I can, but community reception to the RPC site can be lukewarm at times, and there's even a dedicated Gilgamesh community forum going around most of the people I know, so they post there more often than not. Not trying to make a bad case for us, though, we're still friendly enough. I hope. ;P

Welcome to FFXIV and the Gilgamesh server! Here's hoping you'll enjoy the game and what it has to offer, and for some good RP opportunities. Gilg is somewhat the "little brother" of RP servers, but we hold our own, I think. Might see you around on one of my so-called "part time" jaunts in the game, eh?

While the developer blogs of each "market" of FFXIV are mostly the same, the Japanese Lodestone sometimes gets a tidbit of information that other regions won't see (without some effort, obviously) Such is the case with this latest entry, where while some of the characters are blanked out, the images that follow appear to be that of a certain famous sword of legend.

Information on the Lodestone regarding the XIV FanFes in Vegas reveals that the upcoming Live Letter will have a preview of patch 2.4. This effectively rules out the drop date being before the event.

Tokyo Game Show is on right now, and there's expected to be a bit of news regarding 2.4, the next major patch of FFXIV. Looking out into the fog at Oschon's Torch. I've done a screen like this before with wearing the Drachen Mail, but I can't resist trying something with the new idle pose. And I've been told Kroemgarr looks badass in Wyrm gear.

Balmung and Gilgamesh are only branded "unofficial" RP servers because there isn't a specific RP server set up by Square. But we have two of them, and they are "official" enough.

Servers are coming down for maintenance on the evening of September 15th "in order to accompany patch 2.38". We have a date, people! It's coming in five days!

One year ago today, a realm was reborn. It's been amazing how Yoshi-P and the rest of the developer team have turned what was thought to be one of Square Enix's biggest failures into something that's redeemed itself several times over. So I look forward to seeing what's next for Eorzea, and hopefully I'll enjoy the ride with this community!

I like this and I might do this too. Depends. I'm still way down the list though. I also need to get that new reference ready.

I'm definitely disappointed that I never got to have much of a chance to RP with you because of what happened, since your departure was so sudden. Best of luck wherever you go (even if you don't read this~).
