Be aware that some of those events have been organized by the people here. A lot of us are simply using that as a temporary home during beta so that we can play with the new people who can't make characters on Balmung right now. ^^ Yes, please be aware that many of the RPers you may be meeting on Gilgamesh are going to end up on Balmung. Some of Gilgamesh's cool RP community are actually Balmung RPers awaiting phase 4.

Sooooooooooooooooooo you would be a dragon...... I would be one too, but for the reason that hanging out with the nomads from Game of Thrones and their leader princess girl who would raise me would eb pretty cool. ........I have no levels higher than 25..... I am in a link shell with 6 non legacy players that I founded..... I mentor 2 people on the site.... I was making the point that someday you too will be in the same place we are and despite saying we will welcome and help you become part of the community a new player will present the argument that they are too far behind to catch up so there is no point to try..... All you will have left to say is what some of are doing....pleading you to try it and not break up the community.... It was meant to show the irony...not inflame.... Dee Snyder once said at the PMRC hearings in the late 80s to paraphrase...'if you go looking for something in someone's words you will find it without first knowing the true meaning they were expressing.'. I ment only to convey how it is now and how it will be for everyone no matter the server.... That is all.. All the best to all in whatever they choose to do. Konner

I shake my head now for in the future a year or so from here a player will come come on here and say something about how they wish they and their friends would have been here at launch because they just joined the non legacy rp server and every one was already in rp groups and they were way behind on gil gear and levels. And the response will be well you gotta adjust for The community. Irony.....I shake my head now to save time later.....

I remain indifferent as a Linkshell Leader. To be honest, it is whatever the community wants, I agree with. But, I will also follow any rules and guidelines set out for these meetings. In its best form, this site should be nothing more than a place for other RPers to meet other RPers and display their character ideas and stories. As it seems right now, with server choices, leader meeting etc., maybe it is best to consider just scaling back to where it is just that? I don't know, just a thought. Anyways, everyone is doing a good job! Keep up the good work! Konner

As a linkshell leader, I don't really consider it bumping and the like. This is also coming from me, leader of The Seven where my forum posts under there are only 3 and those are the only 3 under it. If other shells have lots of posts on them, good for them! I think if someone is shopping for shells, they will look at every shell if they are serious about finding the right one, no matter how many posts, views, or order they are listed in. And if we loose a member to someone who has a higher posts count, listing and/or view count GOOD, because the COMMUNITY still gains another member who has found what they see as the right home for them! However, I would NEVER say Kylin was caving to anyone. He is trying to address issues that are brought to him by people (and I do not know what they are or who brings them up) the best way he can. I hope also that no one thinks that I or any of the linkshell leaders are some ruling council. I was at the meeting and left before anything was ven discussed due to time constraints. However, I do know there were some leaders really sticking up for new players in there and raising their concerns. The community is going through growing pains right now because there has never been a game where it was played for 2 years, rebuilt, shut down and then asked the old and new community to get back together and be as one. There are no examples to follow here. I think everyone, both old and new, are doing the best they can for what it is worth. This is actually a really cool social experiment to view here. We should all be thankful we are having the chance to partake in it and making history as part of the first game to successful relaunch and come back bigger than its prior version.
