That's pretty much why I don't play darker characters. I always worry about the OOC bleed since I sometimes have gotten snarky comments from people OOC when my character does something as simple as tell them to 'go away'.

Most of us have played more then one character archetype. The playboy, the innocent one, the pirate...Dozens and dozens and dozens of loose types and subtypes to pick to help shape and delve further into a character persona. Eventually people tend to find a persona that they find easiest or most fun to play and that tends to be who they stick with. Sometimes not even a persona, just a common trait. Though while we have our favorite, there's always those that we still like but don't play or play enough of! If you have one, what's yours? Personally I enjoy playing a variety of female character types, though most of the times my main tends to have one maternal trait or another. Weakness for children, an endearing way of speaking, etc. Though the one character persona/type that I've wanted to delve into more is of the more sadistic, devious variety. Not a criminal so much as someone who acts on impulse and primal instinct and sensibilities.

Dear Phoenix, I'm very close with my brother. Our father was a Tia but our mother cared deeply for him anyways, and eventually the two eloped and came to a life here in the city and had the two of us. He's the older and more responsible one and I'm the dunderhead. But lately he's been sneaking out at night and not coming back until it's almost dawn and going through the day with no sleep. He was an interesting man, that was for certain. Her amused smile shifted into more of a grin as she rolled her shoulders and continued to observe him as he shifted upright and began to partake of the baked good like it was the only thing he had eaten in days. For all she knew, perhaps it was. Appearances could be incredibly deceiving. For all she knew he hadn't eaten in days. If she knew the real truth of it...actually, it likely wouldn't make a difference. She'd still give him a roll anyways. "How is life for you, dear? Your goods selling well? How is your company doing?" She made the idle chatter, cheeks flushing modestly in response to his praise of her goods though she just waved it off. "I don't keep to a schedule. Maybe I should, but with the Society I'm usual-" As the street urchins acted, Lili didn't seem the least bit surprised or alarmed. In the years she had been doing this, it wasn't the first time her goods have been confiscated and it certainly wouldn't be the last. But after repeated trial and errors, she managed to be more pro active about how she would respond. In the beginning? She'd let them run away since them having food was what mattered to her. But it began to show more and more over time that just letting them steal from her wasn't teaching them anything. It wasn't doing anything except giving them a temporary respite from the hunger pangs that more often then not caused them and their own to act out of starvation. They were taking nothing away from it except perhaps 'Oh! Look at that blonde broad! She's easy to take sweet rolls from!'. She knew it was a distraction: street children were never so bold unless there was more then one of them. Especially not going after a full grown Elezen, even if he was prone on the street and distracted with food. She could smell the littlest one before she could see him, and right as he nabbed more then a handful or so of the rolls, her free arm snapped out to try and grab one of his ears at the base. It wouldn't be a rough grip, but she knew how sensitive their ears could be. And even with them pinned back they weren't hard to reach. "Now, now," she tsk'd kindly. "You both are welcome to some without having to be so wretched about it."

*reads all the previous comments. Sits there, calls her boyfriend in Skype* "Baby, do we have any extra room in the plans for our personal house?"

I'm looking for one I can stay in since I want to pick up hunts regularly but am not getting any where just flopping around on my boco looking for them by myself. Usually by the time I find any or know where one is, they get killed before I get a chance ; ; It's because existing Linkshells like Bounty Hunters are so large. They have folks in VoIP, and everyone in the LS, sitting around in potential spawn locations where A- and S-Ranks have open spawn windows. The instant something spawns, it gets reported, the LS congregates, and they down it. It's not a matter of "but I'd rather prefer ____!" It's a matter of "Linkshell XYZ has locked down Hunts to the point where if you're not in XYZ, you're going to have a very difficult time getting credit for A- and S-Ranks." It's unfortunate, but that's the current state of Hunting. They've made some minor changes, such as restricting credit to B-Rank spawns to those with the Weekly Hunt Bills for that particular B-Rank mob, and these changes have helped. That said... yeah. Yeah, it is kinda sad :< But! I'll look into it and see what other people may be using. I know there's some smaller ones around that I've heard good things about but have no idea of their names.

At that point in my head it was just "Noooooo", tuned out as I set it to blacklist. And yes I know I could just honestly try to deal with it ICly but... It's my preference not to and it's my own judging bias. With the way some of the armor and clothes are... it was quite easy for someone to "/em dips head into crevice between the breasts" without ever taking a bra or top off... It's just me... personally. Nope. Dat clevage action, man. And NOW I'm headed for cuddles and sleepytimes lol

True! Though that's more poetic. I wanted to show something more visceral than "climbing palm trees" to "grab fruit". I was gonna bring up verse 18, but then I was like "naaah." Old Testament was pretty lewd and interesting book to read comparing to New Testament. My holy book has better sex stories, like this one time, when our trickster god became a mare and had sex with another horse to make a baby horse with eight legs. Beat that level of weird bible! Three sisters tricked their dad into having sex with them in a cave but getting him drunk off wine and pretending to be other people. Incest. Hello. Been RPing a long time, and been on the server for a number of months now. Decided to join now that I have a less then...benign character dolled up and made. One that was sitting on the back shelf for a few months until I decided what to do with her. Unstable, volatile, hauntingly beautiful in her deformities... I look forward to future RPs! Cheers~

You should have seen it the other day: A friend and I were in the Quicksand late one night and this miqo'te couple was standing a little ways behind us. But close enough, however, that our characters could hear them ICly and were also well within emote range. I didn't pay attention to their emotes at first, until I saw 'something something fucking' (I'm a pervert, sue me), and began to read what they were saying. Right there, for all to see, the guy was telling this girl that he liked the sound the bell on her collar made when he was canoodling her. So, our characters eventually tried to tell the two to take it to a room (IC of course) and the girl actually got mad. The man even tried coming over to be lewd to our characters, who only bantered back. Eventually they left but it was so utterly facepalm worthy I think I gave myself a bruise.
