1. *** Coatleque stepped off the airship, once again in Ul'dah. She wore a long black robe drawn closed with a hood much too large for her head. The only attention she would garner was that of curious bystanders gawking at a mysterious stranger. She had done her part. Four days time was more than enough to deliver a message. In Limsa, she had found the Streetrunner, "Kink", through word of mouth in one of her usual haunts. She paid more than triple the usual cost, as the message was so urgent - not because it was requested, but from her own sense of how things worked. Two hundred fifty gil. "His life is in danger..." she reiterated to the girl. And now her part was finished once more. Limsa Lominsa was not her jurisdiction. She only hoped the message would not arrive too late. Once off the airship she spoke to herself in a hushed voice. "Master... my business is concluded early. I have arrived once more in Ul'dah." "Please, allow this one to be rude and inquire as to what your business entailed?" "... To save a life, rather than destroy one." She said nothing more to anyone, and headed for the bar.

Aloha

Gaspard! Welcome to the forums! We spoke in Ul'dah already. You the adventurer, me the quest-giver NPC Sorry I had no quests available though.
3. "The need is not mine, but that of another. It shall suffice." With that she made her preparations for light travel. She would need to secret herself into the city somehow and make for the airship, or otherwise move on to Gridania which would take even more time. She made it known to the innkeeper that she would be leaving early but expected no refund for days already paid. In addition she left a note which was to be shown to anyone looking for her whereabouts. Duty has compelled me to leave for Limsa Lominsa. I have been granted permission to leave Thanalan temporarily and shall be there no more than four suns, less if possible. Ser Crofte
4. So um... yeah.. Bump for recent relevance...
5. Coatleque blew out the lantern and curled herself into a ball. She softly sobbed herself to sleep alone in the inn room. Once again she belonged to another against her will. As sleep came her last thoughts were a prayer for guidance. There was none. Only darkness and silence... until morning. * * *
6. True... I think most of them will be thanking him for the Chaos. It's because of Jin'li that Ul'dah has now tripled its overall wealth.
7. S'why I always play strat games defensively! Till the AI runs out of resources trying to zerg me.
8. *sees Aya about to have a drink while on break* *Time slows down* *dramatic leap while screaming NOOOOO* *slaps glass away from lips just in nick of time*
9. If it's a natural spring or river, it will eventually decontaminate itself as the water continues to flow from the source, washing everything away. Will take time however. Any man-made source is 'effed', though. I agree it's a complete disaster. Thankfully it was only the city, and not the outlying villages that were contaminated, so there should be other sources nearby that can send emergency water rations.
10. Why, this sounds like a wonderful place for a certain Inspector to find new sources of information.
11. Welcome back! If you're hanging around Ul'dah, I'm sure we'll eventually bump heads
12. Continued from here... Coatleque sat at the edge of her bed. It was the next day after she had sent Jancis and Warren away. The Innkeeper had left the letter with her breakfast that morning. Of all times for this to happen, why now? She was roped, and cowed. Her orders were to 'lay low'. Both her friends and enemies knew her current location. A trip to La Noscea was not in the plans. Yet she was still a Paladin. This looming threat could not be ignored. Against her better judgement she would have to play both sides now. "Master?... I request permission to leave Thanalan. I must see to... unrelated business in La Noscea."
13. You poor, innocent little thing. *sniff* Maybe she should just give in to Jin'li. Sadness... :< Hey... Crofte is hot, but she can't change who he is.
14. You give me too much credit  Nyalie is also a Sultansworn, she's in the Sultanswarm linkshell. Bartolomeo Filangerie as well, but he's been on vacation the past few days. Anelia was gone for a while I think. I met her briefly. She is also in the shell. I've been trying to tag everyone who RP's as Sultansworn in game. If Crofte survives the collar, you need to put her through those trials, Erik!
15. You poor, innocent little thing. *sniff* Maybe she should just give in to Jin'li. Sadness...
16. Damn it! Update the situation at the top of the thread, Askier! I'm dying here!
17. She sat in silence for a few minutes before responding coldly. "I understand." With that she wrote two messages for her friends. She folded them and went to the hall. She handed the messages to each of them in turn and calmly said "Thank you for seeing to my well-being. I believe I shall retire early tonight.". With that she retreated though the door and latched it behind. ********** Jancis, My dear sister. I cannot express my thanks for your help these past few days. I wouldst bid you return to your Alveo now. Do not fear for me, my course has been set by those of higher power. You must now accept your own fate, as I have mine. CiCi ********** Ser Castille, I will not deny my heart has felt greatly relieved at seeing you returned and alive. You must go now, for Ul'dah has need of you. Twelve willing, when we next meet it shall be to rejoice rather than weep. Know that my heart goes with you on this endeavor. Coatleque~ **********
18. I'm never leaving for more than a day again.
19. Okay, this has happened twice now. Jin'li decides to rattle off this little number to Crofte while I'm out eating dinner tonight. And then, I get this fortune afterwords: I give up. I'm leaving Crofte's fate to the cookies. I can no longer fight them.
20. And things were going so well, to. We got Jin'li blocked.
21. "I have been a slave once, I did not much care for it." She continued her pacing "I may be your hostage, but I am not your servant. I care not for the 'kindness' of your masters. You no doubt know where I am. I shall remain here as instructed. I suggest you collect me while I am still cowed." She sat once more on the bed. Her fate would be in Od'hilkas's hands now.
