  1. I'm not seeing it... ... Oh, because they don't have one? I get it! lolololol
  2. QFT That and the mead. Wine made from honey, for those who've never tried it.
  3. Be my guest. If anyone needs formatting help just ask. I took my own template from someone else at first, and then slowly changed it around one part at a time.
  4. Well, if the Flames are doing that poorly I guess I'll have to get involved to even the field. (is actually bad at PVP)

You and me both. wait wut?
  7. I made my first comment after just waking up. I can also echo everything Erik and Warren said. A typical night as a Sultansworn is just me walking around the city and standing on street corners listening to others. Maybe 25% of the time a fight breaks out in the Quicksand and I just flex RP muscle till both sides disperse. 25% is people murmuring about a Sultansworn seen outside of the palace. I've only had to draw a weapon twice in three months real time. As long as you respect the position, the lore, and others, most people seem content to play along with the idea. Then once your presence is established it's fun to see the shady characters throw you glances and take their scheming outside the city.
  8. Honestly, I just sort of assumed the role and the rest of the community just fell in line. that's what makes it so much fun. I had also read other people's stories and backgrounds so I had some idea of who already held rank in their own arcs. I only assumed a sergeant rank because Natalie held it and was on suspension, for example. I fully intended to step down if her suspension ended. Otherwise, you just sort of RP as things happen and go from there. If the community wasn't so amazing the whole law enforcement idea wouldn't even work.

Alright... Crofte is in. After everything else she'll need something to lift her spirits.
  10. I'm all for it, and had no problem with the previous event either. Although I was away that weekend anyway.
  11. I didn't even know the Missing Member was there until a few days ago when I was forced to find it. It's so out of the way. I'd vote for that spot simply because it's away from the mainstream area so as to avoid trolling or unwanted spam. That being said, it is small. Limsa does have the advantage of the top three RP spots being in the same area (Wench, Member, Bismark), so no transitions.
  12. Honestly, it reminded me of one night, weeks ago, when I was standing in the Quicksand. Hildanis Alexandar came over and they had a conversation about how that used to be her post, and how Crofte shouldn't have any trouble save the occasional drunken marriage proposal. Still haven't had one of those yet, but I'm waiting
  13. If the advances are in-character, I find it hilarious usually. Especially with Crofte who tends to be oblivious to them. In general I'm a very hard person to upset, but if I found anything truly truly offensive, I'd send the person a tell.
  14. I know. She's not very kind. And now she's turning alcoholic.
  15. For some it ended in bullet holes. For someone else it ended in a barely-eaten lobster dinner and almost entire bottle of wine. At least she didn't have to pay.
  16. Coatleque sat in the Quicksand after her latest return from La Noscea. Her latest 'master' knew of her return and would be contacting her soon, or so she expected. She had a short moment of reprieve to catch her breath at least. She had hopes of seeing at least one or two friends. Even if she couldn't speak to them, hearing that they were well would be of some comfort. Having not spoken for days now, her voice was beginning to crack when she did. Aya was sitting behind her now, off duty, speaking with friends. The Knight sat half-listening at this point, simply staring at a pressed flower she held in her hands. She turned it over many times to simply feel its petals. It was a Nymeia Lily she received in a letter. The conversation behind her had turned to the question of who protects patrons in the bar. Coatleque's heart sank as Aya revealed there was no one recently stationed; That she did not feel safe in her own place of employ. The Knight withdrew a small notepad and thin charcoal writing instrument. She hastily wrote a note, then rose to leave. On passing by, she stopped and handed the note out to the barmaid. "Miss Aya. I pray your fortunes will change for the better soon." "I-I'm sorry. Do I know you?" "Unfortunately, yes." She leaned forward and pulled back the edge of her cowel to reveal the collar breifly. Holding the note out again she urged her to take it. "Please?" As Aya took the note, the Knight turned to leave. "Oh, if you see Ser Castille, please tell him... I'm sorry for doubting." With that she left the bar and city both, returning to her camp at the outskirts. Aya would later look down at the note to see Coatleque's flowing script: Miss Aya, I apologize for my absence recently. You needed to see with your own eyes why I have not been present. I did not go willingly, in fact I fought it to the bitter end. Do not fear, for I shall not submit to them. I pray when next we meet it shall be under more favorable circumstances. Ser Crofte
  17. Check "shipping" in the urban dictionary. Then see who typically stands back-to-back around the center pillar together in the Quicksand.
  18. Well, to stay perfectly in-character from Crofte's perspective... when someone is forced to do certain things for three years, they have to make the best of it if they want to survive mentally. I'm sure certain kinks were eventually developed.
  19. I've heard that every time Crofte calls Jin'li "Master", a puppy gets punched in the face somewhere.
