I've considered having Frejyalen and her fiance have a baby, but they are a inter-race couple so..I'm not sure how that works lore-wise? She'd be fine with either a boy or a girl, just think she'd make a good mom ICly. =3c

Judging people and wanting them to stay out of your "super awesome RPers-only fort" is a bit much. Elitist attitude is not something to be proud of; it is a harmful ideology that you belong on a pedestal and others are not valued as high as you or your friends are. Someone can't contribute as much to the RP community as you, so you think they should be barred entirely or thrown out because that makes them a "parasite"? It is the patience, understanding, and cooperation of a community that makes it strong - we do not live in times that require a "thinning the herd" mentality, especially in regards to an extra curricular in a game. We are not blindly accepting non-RPers, we are rightfully accepting them. This server and this game were not made for RPers only, and if you're willing to bar "non-RPers", then I assume that attitude will extend to "bad RPers" and "RPers I don't like". A slippery slope, indeed.

Yes, we all know how to do things secretly okay, we're all aware of what that is so why repeat it like you're the first to notice "omg just lie about it lol". The forums have to publicly take a specific stand to ensure that the forums stay up. They're just alerting us of that, and it should be publicly respected if you care about the forums. a.k.a at least PRETEND that you're going to respect the rules so that the forum doesn't face any consequences. Some of you would be terrible accomplices to real crimes, just saying.

I stand by the forum's decision to prohibit things based on the ToS; I don't want to lose the entire forum because of one slip up with Square Enix about an art commission. I think a trading board could work nicely to supplement gil commissions. I will even start it or help start it.

Yeah I would definitely say that on a scale of what's hurting the game and what isn't, the numerous bots and gil sellers are at the 9 and 10. Whether SE will actually uphold their stance on art for gil, we'll have to wait and find out. My guess is that if they put even a fourth of the time they spend on gil sellers/bots into the art issue, then we'll never be affected by it anyway. ;P

I have updated my threads to reflect the stance the forum is taking on the ToS. And for those worried about scams: I'm with you there. Though I would say that people still scam even if there's a public eye watching. My advice is to document everything you can in case that does happen, but it'll indeed be tricky to prove/use in light of the ToS. Also I would like to add my support to Aya's idea of some sort of trading board for art! =Oc

My thread has been updated to reflect the ToS rules set by Square Enix. From now on, any prices and payment options will be discussed privately through the forums OR Tumblr. =]
