Kieri Noykin for the Noykin tribe pls =D

I plan to have my character Kieri as a Noykin, though she left her tribe many years ago and it will not be readily available IC information.

To Adokenai - We spoke privately about the fact that I had started a new full-time job, and I offered you a refund on your kokeshi because I knew the wait time was long. I am also in the middle of moving after having legal issues with my roommate a few months into our lease. I had also spoken to the other commissioners about this matter privately, and most were understanding. I'll be returning your $2 to you now~ I'm sorry that I could not finish your art commission, though I am surprised that you did not take the refund when it was offered to you months ago. Not to mention, up until now there had been 3 people ahead of you in line. If anyone else would like a refund because of the wait time (which is completely understandable), please contact me and I will refund you right away. =]

I'm very pale white with black/dark red hair IRL. Queenie has darker skin with white hair. Not much of a reason why really, just thought the dark skin + white hair suited her character. =]

I have been hurt in this game by other players, yes. My best advice is be honest - with them and yourself. It's okay to admit that you're hurt by something. In fact, I think coming clean and saying, "That really hurt me" takes the pressure off of you to remain "unmoved", which just builds up in bitterness over time, and then you're susceptible to react horribly over something small. (Or at least, in my case) And being honest with them in explaining calmly why it was harmful for you is important. Too many people think one fight and it's all over - I've hurt someone, now they hate me! - when in reality, humans hurt each other and that's relatively normal. But it shouldn't be tolerated, especially if it moves into the realm of bullying. Honesty truly is the best policy, both for yourself and for others. Since becoming more honest with myself and others in my own life, I have felt a lot of grudges and bitterness fall off of my shoulders as I accept human nature and responsibility for my feelings. =]

Thanks everyone for your responses! :thumbsup: I agree that they might be eating the dragons they slay, and that they are likely not surviving THAT well through this forced winter. I think once we can get to Ishgard, it'll be interesting to see if these predictions about their social classes will be accurate, because it sounds like it so far. And I hadn't thought about all the sheep in the Coerthas Highlands, so having their wool imported to their city would make a lot of sense! Also I had not played during 1.0, so I was not aware how large the map of that area was, and wasn't sure if Ishgard only owned the land in the city limits or if they actually ruled over an entire "country" of land outside the city-state. I can't wait to see the new maps that'll come out soon to compare to the ones shown here. =D As a side note, my main RP character is from the mountain range near Ishgard (or was, depending on how this plays out) but they relied on a nearby valley to grow their own food and materials as well as trade routes that they created in the mountains. So I guess I'll be studying Ishgard in-depth once the rest of the lore comes out.

Quick update: Spent the weekend prepping for a job interview and working on kokeshis! Yay! After my interview today, I'll get to postin' up some of them! =D
