Who all roleplays as wealthy people IC? (Bonus if you can back it OOC). Sometimes I feel a bit....limited in my character at times since most people lack millions IC and there can be a bit of a lack of common ground. I'm not sure what I am looking for exactly but I don't want to have like twirling mustaches as we light cigars with hundred dollar bills and rest our feet on the backs of slaves as we sit and laugh about unfunny shit. But I figure this is a good place to start. Who all is wealthy IC? From there maybe something can be figured out.

This makes no sense to me whatsoever. Why would you want to do this? Why should I fake how much gil gets fined from me when the real thing should suffice?

I'm allowed to respond to an edit that was made entirely in response to my own post that was given as advice. He doesn't have to take it or like it as it is purely my opinion as I already said clearly in my post, and he is perfectly fine bribing as he sees fit for his character. I'm curious as to how it would give Otto's Syndicate affiliation weight when it's stuff that any merchant with gil can do. Edit: To make it clear, it's just my opinion what he should do but he does not need to do it. I may question it but that's out of curiosity because, again, to me it's something anyone with gil can do. If Kage heard about it he'd shrug and go "So what? I see merchants on pearl lane do it all the time for petty crimes. I bribed my way into owning a house they said is for adventurer's only." That's also a perfectly reasonable thing to do. But it's just my opinion on really using that weight of being a Syndicate-affiliated character. Oh because I was just thinking how else do I get out of jail (free). I guess Syndicate afiliation doesnt matter if your just rich enough. But to expand a bit more in this light hearted scenario I would be getting arrested by someone with more umph than some Brass Blade. A sworn or paladin of some kind. Someone a bit more stalwart and less inclined to just take money on the spot - someone that WILL ignore that I am Syndicate and take me to processing anyways for my mugshot etc. Granted after Im dropped off I can wriggle out of it but that was the idea. If the idea is shit I wont pursue it much. Ill message Natalie and see what her idea is though.

Catchy title I know. So I'm thinking to flex a bit more of my backstory I should be arrested. People have constantly said to me off-handed "Well if Otto gets arrested he can just bribe/bail his way out with his money and connections. Thats Syndicate affiliation life". Same here. Im still so green and new to it all as long as people dont push me into combat I'm willing to try it. Natalie involved me for a little bit with this Hand that Feeds thing? It was fun digging into her past and her associates and playing a very political-lite side of things. Simply talking to Crofte-tan in the Quicksand is fun at times. My FightClub was fun as fuck. I dunno I think I can do most anything as long as Im not constantly under attack IC (AKA why is a syndicate man at our anti-syndicate weekly gathering - random example to set the stage) or forced to fight people.

My wife makes breakfast for me. Sometimes she makes french toast. She goes to this local hippy store and buys freshly baked loaves of sourdough bread and cuts it up into massive slices of bread at home. Cinnamon she grinds up herself into the egg mixture, cooks it on the cast iron skillet/pan thing. Yeah m8s thats me. Will post a picture later
