This sounds interesting, and I can afford the prices! I would be interested for a colored portrait or something for Solis. Atm, I have around 80K or so gil on my alt Rena/Sakura.

One night in the woods of the Black Shroud Footsteps can be heard from a distance in the mystic Twelveswood, as the silhouette of a young girl can be seen running away from three huge bandits. The young girl seemed to be a short Hyur Midlander, wearing pink Doman clothing as she flees from her pursuers. Her expression is one of complete fear as she runs with all her stamina, panting along the way. "Come back here, bitch!", said one of the bandits chasing the girl. Eventually after a couple of minutes, the Doman girl tripped and fell to the ground as the bandits catch up to her, with the girl showing an expression of hopelessness and tears running down from her yellow eyes on her face. "Got ye now, little lady! Give us all yer gil and we won't hurt ye." Said the boss of the bandits as they tower over the girl. The girl is now trembling and shivering in complete fear, unable to move. "P-p-please stop! I need this money! Leave me alone!" said the girl. "I'm getting sick of yer complaining, gal!" One of the bandits said and then drew a knife. "Let us 'convince' ye..." He was about to stab the girl in the chest when she suddenly disappeared, the knife hitting the ground where the girl once was. The bandits unsurprisingly showed expressions of great surprise on their faces as they tried to comprehend what just happened. "EH?! What in the hells?!" "Where did the lil' lass go?!" "How despicable. You would really do such things to an innocent woman?" A voice similar to the scared girl's said, but in a extremely different tone. The bandits frantically looked around them for the source of the voice but to no avail. "Dammit! Where are ye?!" said the bandits' boss. "I'm like a blossom to the wind. Be befuddled in my blossoms." The voice was revealed to be coming from the same girl, standing and balancing on one of the surrounding tree's branches high up, with a completely different expression and tone, she suddenly disappears from the branch and appears near-instantly behind one of the bandits, with a dagger held back-handed on her right hand, as she slashes and assassinates the bandit as silent as shadow, and leaving behind a cherry blossom petal before returning to the shadows above. "DAMN YE!" said the dying bandit as he quickly fell to the ground. The other two bandits rushed towards their fallen comrade until the girl appeared behind another bandit and slashed him the same way, leaving behind another petal as she returned to the shadows. The boss, noticing his two comrades have fallen, has shown great anger and rage as he demanded, "SHOW YERSELF, COWARD!" The girl revealed herself to the remaining bandit, dressed in Doman ninja garb with the same cold expression she had before with her golden yellow eyes. "Oi...who the hells are ye?" Said the boss calmly as he tried to control his anger. ".....You thugs don't deserve to learn my name." the girl said in a nearly emotionless tone. "Well lass...YOU JUST EARNED YERSELF, AN AXE ON YER BODY!" the boss roared as he drew his great axe and rushed at the girl. At the same time, the girl has started doing a couple of mudras with her hands, staying completely still as the boss still rushed at her. When she finished her mudras, she said in a quiet and distinct Doman tongue. She suddenly blows a trail of fire from her mouth towards the bandit, incinerating him as he burned to his death. "How disappointing. But you guys deserve it." She walked toward the burnt boss and put a cherry blossom petal on his corpse, before disappearing back into the shadows of the Black Shroud's trees. With his amber necklace shining in the radiant sun, he smiles as he touches the steps on the Gate of Nald, the grand entrance to Ul'dah from Central Thanalan. "I can't believe it. I'm finally here! What wonders await me in the future now. Now my adventure begins!" He says with joy as he enters the great city in the desert.

I'm taking small steps. What do you suggest when it comes to Aether? Like what types of magic are you referring to? I don't want to ruin it all already.

I've been pondering at the thought of a person being part Eorzean, and part-Garlean, with having one Eorzean parent and another Garlean parent. The reason why for me is because I'm planning on making Nik half-Garlean through an RP arc involving a torn family picture. Nik and my other character Sarah would be half-siblings, although Sarah is pureblood because although Nik and Sarah came from the same father, they came from different mothers, with Sarah's being pureblood like her father, therefore making Nik a bastard son since he was born out of wedlock. The reasoning behind this is that although the Garlean blood inside him makes him unable to use Aether or makes him have a third eye, all that should be countered by his Eorzean blood, since his mother was a master conjurer. There is no lore at all about part-Garlean heritage, so I assume it's safe to roleplay a part-Garlean and be able to use Aether as well. What do you guys think of this?

As of this post, I will only be a minor for around 2-3 months, so I have a question: Does a kiss count as sexually-charged? I personally think it should be ok if a character kisses another, be it on a cheek or on the lips. To me that does not count as a sexual offenses or porn.

I might be available. I will have to ask my mom, but maybe if I improve my grades. Don't count mr out yet. Then we just need to find a backup person then in the event you're not on. Anyways, our current team status is subjective. Worse case scenario, Nik can be a backup or support role for the team, silently observing and giving them help before the tournament. Like a coach or manager.

I'd need to flag down Sounsyy for this, but I'm fairly certain that Doma doesn't have traditional tribes like Eorzea does. Their names certainly don't seem to reflect it, and I'd again make mention that Chosen One storylines are be rattling for those you interact with. Now that you mention it, there are some things that are too much. I will go change them later to make it appropriate. Like what should I change?

Pshaw, roleplay isn't so serious that you'd be in any real trouble. Just takes some getting used to when someone is suddenly someone else. Fantasia's been used enough and if you wanted to go that route, not many folks would have room to argue. If you're wanting her to have been Doman, though, that's still tricky. You could have her as having been secreted away as a baby and her heritage drawing back to there, but Domans have only extremely recently arrived on Eorzean soil so trying to explain her as having traveled years ago is a bit questionable. It's not unreasonable to have her being raised in Ala Mhigo but unaware of the place of her birth, but that also won't really make her "doman" in the traditional sense of the word. Your options seem to be either gently nudging the history (Oops! She was a secret Doman baby the whole time!) and letting it alter very little of your story or going whole-hog and smashing it to pieces (Rena as we knew her is retconned entirely, New Rena is a wholely different person who now comes from Doma). Oh wow. I would rather do the first option. I did hint that she came from the Far East, but she did not remember her origin in the years gone by. (Read Rena's wiki for the story I have) Maybe there are some things I should change about her backstory, like MINOR details, not like retconning everything.

Define "people like Nik?" If Niklas is the pinnacle of human potential, then you run into the problem of her not being OP by Warrior of Light standards, which still means she would crush normal fighters by the bucketloads. Regarding Doma, tangling that sort of backstory with an Ala Mhigan would take some tricky dancing. Also, writing this makes me realize you did say "hyur" when you were rerolling her. This sort of thing got addressed a lot in the Retconning thread. Rena's already established as having been around, and she's interacted a bit with people (didn't she fight at Otto's thing recently?). Suddenly retooling her into an entirely different character will be jarring for them, especially because there's a race change on top of a background change on top of a character shift. You need to be very careful when transplanting someone like this, because a lot of folks who know her might just not get it. My general advice is stay away from innate hidden powers. Let the character speak for the character, not the templates and super moves. As always, take everything I suggest with a grain (or a shaker) of salt; My advice hardly represents the majority opinion here. Thanks for the advice. As for becoming Hyur, I'm thinking of putting in that she finds a potion somewhere, drinks it, and suddenly becomes Hyur, ala Kage. But you're right I gotta be careful. This is almost like doing surgery: one mess-up, and I'm done for. Sometimes I can't handle the pressure like this.

Bumping this because I need help once again. I am starting to see that Rena is now OP. I wish to change that and I want to change her into a Doman Hyur Midlander now. Any help would be nice on this!
