I understand that from the quest perspective but what's the general consensus from roleplayers? What dangers come from unlocking the gates? Power addiction, withdrawal symptoms when limitations are placed, aggression, things of that nature.

Hello! I wanted to get everyone's standpoint on the dangers of opening gates and the usage of aether and chakra as a monk. To be clear, this is not for my own character, but rather research into a friend and subordinate's condition. I've roleplayed my character looking through books and such for information on this matter and now I need the ooc knowledge to back up the learning of ic knowledge. So anything pertaining to this would be helpful. I prefer answers that match well with the lore and would be something that could be potentially found in a book related to those matters. Thanks!

Jay loves a good joke of any type. Puns make her laugh the hardest. She has a fat cat named Lump. She is her therapy animal. Jay is very fond of small children and enjoys spending time with them and teaching them. Her old fighting style involved a lot of kicking similar to Taekwondo. Since her accident, it has evolved to a style involving pushes and avoidance similar to Tai Chi. She is terrified of the void and anything even remotely involving it.

Jay would look at the ad warily. Instead of focusing on the picture, she honed in on the fine print and smirked. Of course this would be Verad's handiwork.

The fastest way for me to fall asleep is picturing my character going about her daily routine. Something about it is relaxing to me. I enjoy coming up with stressful situations for my character. I began mmo rping almost a year ago and I can definitely view how my character has matured in that time due to the situations I put her through. I'm terribly timid in real life and this somewhat carries over into my rp. I find it difficult to get involved in rp with people outside of my fc because I don't want to be rejected or viewed as an annoyance. I have very very few friends in real life and as such I become attached to the people I meet online. I know this is probably troublesome to a lot of people, so I'm sorry for that if it is. ^^;

So my character Jay hails from Ala Mhigo, but left when she was 5. I would love to get her into contact with other characters from Ala Mhigo, be it old childhood friends from the streets, or enemies from when she took a recent but brief trip. Additionally, any who is interested in just RPing at any time I would be more than happy to do so. Before she joined the Harbinger's which she now considers her job, she did mostly mercenary and bodyguard work for the wealthy in all 3 city-states. Her adopted home is in Moraby Drydocks so any from there might know her as well. I would like to branch out with her and expand her personality and explore her past a little bit more and for that I need some connections!!
