Okay, cool. I was thinking something a bit like broken english, or more just shortened and simplified, mostly just using the most critical words to get the point across. I just wanted to make sure that would make sense. i've seen a few players do that, it always catches my attention when they do. seems interesting and makes me stop a sec to listen to their rp a little bit :3

see...now you have my hopes up! on times i've had to schedule before another fight event i always hope a couple of people will show up wasted and still compete for luls :lol:

i should be :3 getting back on topic; i met someone ic but literally bumping into them at an date auction on the beach they started chatting after that and ended up going out to lunch for more conversation. was a lot of fun

now these are so super dapper, i love how expressive the eyes are!!!! once i have some time to dig around; i'll come back and post up a proper form but i will post to save a spot so to speak. this is so nice of you to offer freebies, even if they're just doodles and there's no promise to do the whole list; i love when i see someone doing them <3 i also noticed a few people offering to do trades; even if you can't get to mine i'd still like to do a quick scribble for you later on if that's alright. :3 of course it may take a little time but i'd still like to if you don't mind, call it practice x3 Character name: Cliodhna Eoghan Personality: Fun loving, slightly smart mouthed and loves to party, but she's known to be serious as well when need be. taking only a few things dear to her; thought still sweet and polite everything else has been held at an arm's length but that wall is slowly being melted away as clio's learning to let more people in. Pictures/screenshots: Special requests: she wears the moonlet earring ic but it's not required. either hairstyle is fine, same with the goggles/bandanna. it's worn a lot but not required x3 (Disclaimer: I may or may not fulfill these.)

kinda a mixed bag really.....harder rock, some metal, techno/dance and some jpop. that's usually the things i use when rping and it seems to fit her personality depending on her reactions to situations

this for me is where events really come into play. i love seeing people that i already know ic for chit chat there but it's such a great way to have a causal meeting with someone. even more-so if they're at a more specialized event that caters to their characters (for example the crafting one on fridays i believe...) if clio was more into making things from raw materials (or artsy-crafty) she'd totes be there buzzing around the other crafters asking for tips, suggestions on projects and use that as an opener to get some conversation flowing. tavern nights and fight nights are good for that as well; set up ooc a reason for each to be there and why then pop on in. works well for people you don't know but see sitting off to the side. give em a tell asking if they're up for rp then scoot over, compliment their clothes, drink/weapon choice or just a question in general. one i liked to use with people i know ooc but didn't get much chance to rp with ic is "i know this sounds like a pickup line and i swear it's not, but you do look familiar....have i seen you around ____?" once the contact is made; it gives you option to get to know them for a little bit, then set up a time to meet again for mover conversation, once they've made ic "friend" status. then you can drag them into more detailed plots (as they can with you) and so on. as far as travel goes; i imagine it takes awhile but there's airships, boats, cocobo back. just say you've traveling for awhile to reach said destination. you don't have to make the trip out to someone each time, after the initial meeting; you can then invite them to vist you when they're closer to your home.

Everyone knows and respects you, wanna judge thw bard challenge? I imagine I could assemble a panel of performance types, so as to avoid accusations of favor and payoffs of various kinds. sounds like a great idea, maybe an odd number of judges to keep it from being tied? :3

clio will be there for the duration of the event, aside from that; i'll be hosting a smaller scaled version of the monthly shots contest with a few minor changes; no entry fee i'll be advertising the contest via shout/yell (most likely yell) and those wishing to sign up will simply come find me at the area to add their name to the list. i may shorten the list depending on how many want to participate. (once scheduling for events gets hammered out more; i'll pick a start time ;p) prize list yeeep, i'll be handing out extra prizes this time, we'll be doing a first, second and third place prize along with a prize for whoever loses their stomach in the first round roll rules are to stay the same! for those not aware; people are usually split into small groups of 3-5 depending on how big the overall group of contestants are. we then go from group to group; winner of said group is a finalist, then all finalists compete for the prize. roll rules have you emote taking a drink, roll then emote reaction to it (not exactly in that order, it's pretty loose; long as you roll an take a swig it's good ;3 ) out of the group you're rolling with: lowest number takes a hit. each person has three hp, this keeps going each round until only one from that group has hp left. ties are met with re-rolls and those that make it to the final round; have their hp reset.

clio has two......though i'm not sure if either would actually be considered pets in the typical sense. steiner steiner is a broken mammat she found and upgraded by taking the model vangard toy (don't ask how she got it >.>; ) and giving him a new body. given there was some....clashing with the two technologies; steiner's a overly zealous trigger happy deranged mammet with a god complex. where he's fun to have people interact with; i don't keep him out all the time, socially it's just not a good idea given how he is. so for the most part; he lives in the airship hanger at sable hall. even the meetings can be hit or miss with him as some have found out first hand....thankfully his bullets shoot about as hard as a paintball or bb gun... ;p habanero not so much a pet now that he's fully grown but clio's ic carvery drake. after aquiring an egg; she was lucky enough to find a book on the subject of amalj'aa breeding/training tactics regarding their drakes and decided to try for herself vs letting it go back into the wild. the book (named "how to train your battle drake" ) had quite a bit of useful information along with an account of the author's personal attempts in obtaining an egg for themselves.....the book was later found in the desert by a team of scouts in south thanalan; finding the flame seal on it, it was returned to the nearest officer who passed it to the hall proper and ended up in the red wings library. the last few pages were bloodied and scorched as the author had attempted to take an egg from a nest while the mother was thought to be away. >.>; regardless; the book was helpful and most theories and practices listed proved to have a positive effect on habanero and after recognizing clio as his mother/trainer; habanero's fairly docile and good natured, even to the point he sleeps with the unit's chocobo's in the stables. usually he's fed a mix of dried meats and grilled cactuar (which he fires himself as a personal preference) usually he stays around the house unless clio goes somewhere and uses him as a ride instead of peppergrass (her chocobo) or on the back of fury with erik. she's found that to keep habanero docile; he needs not only the exercise but also the time spent together when riding to keep their bond.

sooo excited i was able to get the butterfly kimonos x3 i missed a lot of theses early events so it's really nice i've been able to get some of them. the suits this year look kinda cute but i don't think i'll get much use out of them.

ahhhh! neko showed me this and i couldn't resist tossing in a few of clio~ x3 had wayy too much fun taking these >//u//<

was really fun, i'll keep an eye out if you guys decide to host another one

CONGRATULATIONS TO LOCKE FAIRWIND!! he walked away with a dapper 78k last night! the last round was pretty close as those unable to keep up decorated the floor or took naps on the tables but once again; was a fun night for all! (despite how much they'll be regretting those hangovers the next morning ;3) to those that missed the event; there's always next month! just drop a note to be added and as always; I'M LOOKING FOR MORE FC BARS TO HOST! i love having a different venue each time and would like to keep that up as long as possible (good publicity for you and me right? ;3 ) also i grabbed some pics of the event last night too x3 hangin by the bar as people start to trickle in first table! r'abedh thish holds her own against the rest and come out the first finalist second table gives us nahare rahz and locke fairwind from the third table! time for the final round which was ushered in by some small pyrotechnics! down to our last two! r'abedh and locke! and after a overwhelming victory, locke takes a well deserved rest on the floor before stumbling home!

soooo glad i looked at this when i did! totes gonna be there today i'd love to get some more info on the raffle but i can wait till the event if that's the plan on when to go over it x3
