aw...bummer, but i'll be doing another one first part of feb. well i do have a spot open now if faye's okay with it -
Cliodhna nodded briefly at Kiht's introduction. "You've already met youkio, the big guy is Seighart." She replied, carefully dropping the saddlebags that had been removed from Pepper. Given their contents, it wasn't wise to leave them outside. "As Siha said; we know one could be either Khan'a or Mikh'a....if there's a possibility of the others; it's hard to tell at this point. Half our team was to head north while a third was to stay here. Seig, Siha an myself were originally contacting you as means to safely get to the Shroud but I feel that plan needs to change and would appreciate any help you can offer in getting more information before we leave Limsa." Impatiently she pulled her hair off her shoulders and bunched before taking a bit of cord and binding it in a semi loose bun. It was enough to keep out of her face but still free to not tug. "Siha, I know you're worried about who was captured and right now there could be a high chance others have been scooped up as well but we need to find out who put these orders out first. We can't rush straight into Ul'dah blind. That will only leave us open...as far as your contact goes; I'm sure Youkio will be more than happy to go to find them." He nodded in confirmation at the sound of his name. "I'm here for whatever ya'll need...Who's the bandit we're lookin for anyway?" He asked, idly grabbing a few pieces of dry fruit off the table before offering one to Skittles. "A Lalafell and two Miqo'te....It was odd, from what I had seen, they acted more like it was a grand performance than an actual heist attempt." Cliodhna mused. "The lala epically, he seemed to be enjoying himself....I didn't catch his name but the others kept calling him captain Distraction or something." At the last part of her words, Youkio slammed his fist into the wall. "Damnit all! I know exactly who you're talkin about!" He seethed, eyes narrowed. "That whoreson stole me damn ship!" "Don't lie." Skittles pipped up. "Ya know damn well he caught ya cheatin at cards cause ya got drunk off yer ass that night an was sloppy." Cliodhna stared at the two of them as they continued to bicker. Youkio had a tie with the group that had carried out the setup, he was quickly becoming more and more useful. "You know who he is? Can you find him so we can arrange a meeting?" Cliodhna asked, a hint of hope creeping into her tone. "This is why I make ya sit at the house all day, this right here! Ya can't keep yer damn beak shut 'less I stuff it with honey!" Youkio exclaimed. "Well scue me for tryin to keep ya honest, you'd be dead in a week if I left ya alone an ya know it!" Skittles retorted "youkio...." Cliodhna repeated, patience waring thin. "Damned loudmouth bird, if it weren't fer me, you'd still be in that damned cage on her way to be auctioned off cause you can talk, Gods knows why anyone would wanna buy ya with that attitude ya got!" Youkio growled, ignoring Cliodhna's attempt at interruption. "PIPER! SHUT YER MOUTH OR I'LL KNOCK A FEW TEETH LOOSE TO MATCH YER EYE!" She exploded, grabbing the tall keeper by the ear and giving it a yank. "aright, aright! Just leggo, ya about ripped me damn earring out!" He whined but in a more subdued manner. "Yes, I know the little bastard and I can find em quick enough for ya." "Aright, we'll hammer out the details for that in a moment. Siha, what's the idea you have for getting into Flame Hall?" Cliodhna asked, her temper vanished as quickly as it appeared.

Well, unfortunately, I have no idea what my schedule is for basically the entire month of January as I'll be on Temporary Duty to another location. Once I find out for sure ... well ... we'll see. No worries, it was just an offer if you were seriously considering it. I plan to run more of these in any case. c: -
Cliodhna mearly bounced her shoulders slightly. "Not their entire life story, but little tid-bits here and there are common if it's a skill that could seem useful in the future." She wasn't so much concerned as his aversion to mentioning it as simply using it as another tool to show how much she had found out in the short span of time that had been available to search. This of course was pretty common information as Sieg had plainly stated, but it was a stepping stone to other things about the man that was less common. "The ones that fail to adapt to a quickly changing situation, are hired to be used as fodder or lack proper training die. You clearly survived when so many in your group was lost. Seems your team was outmatched or more than a few slacked in their training for that to happen." Replying with a faint smile. His continued pacing never leaving her line of sight. It was a bit of a harsh statement, but one that usually held true, nonetheless. "I've most likely seen more than my fair share but it's not something that keeps me awake at night. The incident at the bridge was something I plan to rectify as soon as possible." Brows raised at his latter comment. "Yes there is a weapon I've currently got my hand on and I'll even be nice enough to inform you it wouldn't take much more than a scratch for me to get the desired result with it, but it's only a precautionary measure and I've little intent to use it unprovoked. Being in your former line of work; you should be well aware that during conversations of this nature and having the other party unable to stay still would of course call for this sort of reaction." She smirked again. "Wouldn't they be though? This has been a long standing....confrontation." As he towered over her, Cliodhna met his eyes without any sort of fear or hesitation; her tone soft to ensure it wasn't overheard by the others. "You're right it's not, but I had to at least ensure you're going to be useful until we're out of this and not a loose end I'd need to tie up." Braking her gaze long enough to see Youkio arrive with Siha and another in tow. "Right right." Youkio answered Miss Siha in an easy manner. Kiht's question made him pause a moment. Tilting his head, frowning slightly and scratching behind his right ear, Youkio tried to recall the first few moments after announcing his presence. "Ah, shoot!" He exclaimed. "Sorry ladies, no wonder ya'll were skittish 'round me. Well that an the showin up outta nowhere." He Grinned again. "Anywhoo, I go by Youkio most times but if ya end up out this way an in another spot of trouble like now; look for Piper. I can't resist helpin lovely ladies after all." He said with a most likely ill-effective wink due to the black eye. Skittles after waking up, shook out his feathers, hopped once on Seig's head as a sign of thanks nd swooped over to land on Youkio's shoulder. "He means he'll help if there's a chance ya'll put out." The parrot cawed before youkio clamped a finger and thumb over it's beak. "Shut it ya miserable little shite." He grumbled at skittle before swiging open the door and leading everyone into the shack; lighting the lamps on the way. It was in worse shape than the darkness hinted. Inside was big enough for them all to stand comfortably, with a small table and lone chair shoved into the corner. Scattered around were a few changes of clothes and little else recognizable in the clutter. Off to the side appeared a smaller doorway that led to the bedroom where a narrow cot had been lying against the wall Next to a tall pile of what looked to be blankets and more clothing made out of surprisingly finer material such as fur, linen and silk. "Yeah....so this is it. Sorry it ain't much Tempest. I uh....had to vacate my apartment in the upper decks." Youkio mumbled, staring at his boots. With Geruda in the hands of another; he was unable to continue his side job that supported his more comfortable lifestyle. She impatiently waved him off. "It's fine, this is fine, we only need it long enough to catch a few hours sleep and plan our next move, after that we'll need to head to Ul'dah." Cliodhna replied, giving Siha a leveled look. "They already have one or more by now but they won't stop till they round us all up. If the one in their custody talks; they'll know we we're to go to the Shroud. If not, they won't expect us in the city and in either case we can attempt rescue."

Dang it all. I've been volun-told to be a DD again?! Oh well. Should be amusing. I need volunteers! I'm not taking EVERYONE home myself. If you are interested in being DD, I have found two others that are willing to help for those that want to play out the drunk ride home. -
His words weren't met with any reply; skittles had fallen asleep by this point after finding the dusty and tangled hair more than accommodating for his nap. Cliodhna regarded Sieg quietly, mirroring a small smile with his apparent amusement on her lion comment. "You state it wasn't a secret, yet you failed to mention it at all since you've joined the Red Wings. From what I've understood; most people are more than happy to brag about past heroics, unless they have a reason to hide it...but than again, the loss of most of your group could be the reason for your silence." She mused aloud, her eyes following his movements as Seig started to circle her. Discreetly her hand strayed under her cloak as if to merely rest on her hip but instead rested on the hilt of one of her poisoned tipped daggers. Cliodhna really didn't want things to get violent right now; their numbers were already small and If Seig was truly on their side as he claimed, he would be more useful in full health than if she did any damage to him. Yet his circling left he wary. "Firstly, three's no need for the formality or lack there of; Tempest is fine for the moment until we get out, not lady. Also don't feel as if you need to fluff my feelings; though our unit has it's own special brand of ranging talents we are still a small group. From the sounds of what you're hinting at; you'd need enough bodies to start a damned war....or rather continue a long standing one..." As he rounded closer and faced her once more, Cliodhna merely looked up at him. Eyes never straying from his features but her peripheral vision already keeping track of his motions to detect an attack if there was need to parry and counter. "I think you remember more of Gyr Albania than you're telling me and I think you already know we both know that." She replied quietly, her voice low but knowing he heard her above the rush of the river nearby. "My mother lost her life fighting for the resistance against the Garlean empire when they first took over." ~~~ Catching Kiht's even slight change in facial expressions was still enough for Youkio to tell he was really getting under her skin. Mentally he shrugged, wasn't the first time nor would it be the last he'd have a less than desirable result with a Miqo'te female. But being raised away from the whole social standing that was essentially his heritage gained that reaction as the norm when he encountered them in passing. Apparently a stronger willed male was hard to come by, but this never concerned Youkio either. He would much rather live out his meaningless little life with enough cash, women and drink to make him happy, just like any other man with his attitude dreamed. sides. He mused silently. A single man can't have every fish in the sea. Nodding along as Miss Siha talked, he led them back cautiously through the wooden scaffolding that made up Skylift. Mentally of course he had taken to calling the small keeper "Miss" but it was in more an affectionate way than from respect, regardless; Youkio figured it wouldn't hurt long as he refrained from doing it out loud. If the little bit of friendly chatter had made her blush hard as it did; she most likely would get a tad too flustered if he pushed it much longer....plus Tempest might give him another shiner for anymore of his shenanigans right now, seeing as the situation put her on edge. Frowning at the thought; Youkio poked the black eye again, wincing slightly. He'd need to put something cold on it soon. Just as promised the hike was short and discreet, fairly soon his small shack appeared on the edge of his vision. "Over there. Sorry it ain't much but anythin too fancy would draw attention, ya know? So I guess it works out for what we need right now. An if anyone needs anythin, just holler an I'll be happy to pop over and round up some supplies." He continued, chattering on more to Siha since Kiht could very well walk into town on her own legs if she preferred. She wasn't in hiding and given their meeting, would most likely reject any help form Youkio if she could till she warmed up a bit more to him; if at all.

Skittles curled into a ball to preen his tail. "ya ain't got nothin ta worry bout, just using ya till boss gets back." He replied around a beak-full of feathers. "I won't muss yer pretty hair." Cliodhna nodded but refused to relax her stance. Words were cheap and easy to come by, but seeing his expression when she fist spoke showed in truth he had been caught off guard. Offering a soft sigh of mock frustration, Cliodhna continued to meet his gaze searching for any body language that would give Sieg away as being dishonest right now. Most people weren't aware but there were a common set of minor motions and twitches that people have a habit of doing when trying to lie. Tilting her head, she crossed her arms. "Not to be rude, but I'm not concerned with your connection to Raimy at this point, i'm more curious about the apparent support you need." She paused as if remembering something. " You know a long time ago Ul'dah had tried to use lions as mounts for their Sultan Sworns but finding them to be too feral to break and train; released them out into the wild's of Thanalan. Are you perhaps trying to procure more lions? I've heard though rarely spotted, there are even a few Grey ones roaming about in South Thanalan...." She flashed Sieg another curve of her lips. Oh yes, she was aware of that as well. "Look at me Seig, really look at me. I'm one of those people you're trying to help, so is Erik. We both miss Ala Mhigo..." She replied, dropping the playful attitude she had earlier slipped into. "If you're honestly wanting to help us all get out alive, truly and honestly, once this is all over and done with; Erik and I will offer what help we can with your cause, but you need to inform him why you really signed on and the goal you're trying to achieve." Normally Cliodhna tried to keep her cards closer to her chest, but time was growing short she felt and didn't have much room to keep playing the cryptic game with him. It was only a matter of time before the keeper in question broke and while her pearl was off; Cliodhna couldn't keep tabs on that situation as well as she liked. ~~~ Youkio gave another chuckle, his voice bouncing off the cavern walls. "Oh man, I just love when people say "with respect" it's like it just gives 'em a pass to be as rude as they want without woryin bout pissin off the other person!" Shaking his head, he stopped and regarded Kiht. "Still, you're right, Tempest's kept me in the dark for mosta this an I had no clue how deep she was in. We gotta get back to em quick an figure out a plan to rescue and resolve this mess." He glanced over at Miss Siha, pretty little thing....much too innocent for this sorta life, he mused. "Yah, I'll take ya'll there quick as can be, honestly we ain't far from it now....Tempest ain't gettin a choice, she knew if I found out what was really goin on I'd jump in an she contacted me anyway." He replied, his mouth set in a hard line. "'Sides I'd take a wager ya'll can't really run in an outta the city like I can right now, so I'll be needed at least for that." Youkio stuffed his hands in the pockets of his kicks and started to lead them out of the cavern.

The parrot easily dodged Sieg's attempt to shoo him off with a few more hops before settling once more on the man's head. "Swat at me again like a damn fly 'n I'll leave something in yer hair." Skittles cawed good-naturedly. Glancing back, Cliodhna looked up at Sieghart. Her lips curved into a small smirk, her eyes gaining an edge to them that was absent moments before. "I'm alright, you know how running and hiding can stress a person..." Idly she continued to run the brush through Pepper's dark violet feathers as the bird did her own preening on the other wing. "If you wouldn't mind indulging me though, Sieghart...I have a few things i'd like to ask." Her expression remained placid and her tone even tempered but inside her mind was already calculating. Looking over the size of his frame, judging how strong he was based on current stature and the fighting she was able to see from the bridge before passing out. His weapon was still out of reach, that was good. She hoped it wouldn't come to blows, but he was in their unit under false pretenses and that needed to be addressed before he got in too deep with them. Best to handle the situation now than with Siha there, she could easily be another weakness that could be exploited. "I was there when you first were being brought into our unit and something bothered me that day but we really hadn't had much time for chitchat so I did a little investigating on my own...That salute you did, it was prefect. Right click of the heel, proper position of the arm...not the salute of a man who's done it as a greeting or parting for years...more like that of one who has practiced many times before the flawless execution of his performance." Cliohna giggled, offering Seighart another smile. "Being so inquisitive can leave a girl thirsty....I had to stop off in Little Ala Mhigo and order a drink, I really do love their more traditional drinks brought over from home, but I must say, trying the Mirage Oasis was pretty refreshing on it's own....Some would even call it Eorea's greatest jewel of the desert." Tilting he head, she turned to face the man that was easily a head taller than her. Judging from what else she had found out; Sigehart was merely using the Red Wings as a nearby cover to make his frequent trips to Little Ala Mhigo less noticeable but clearly hadn't planned on being part of this redaction conspiracy everyone was finding themselves in. Regardless, Cliodhna had to find out if his intentions were to truly help them or if he was just going along till an opportunity to leave presented itself for him to cut ties and hide with the surviving members of the Grey lions. Though it was admirable Seigheart were still keeping the fight alive for the refugees and knowing Erik's feelings towards his lost homeland, he would surly provide help once all this blew over...Seig still could prove to be a damning factor if those morals were placed in front of their current situation. If that were the case, than Cliodhna considered him a loose end and one that needed to be taken care of quickly. If not; then it was just a secret she'd keep for him until he was ready to inform their Captain after the dust finally settled. After all, her mother was taken down in the earlier stages of that long standing war. Though Cliodhna's memories of home were different than that of the refugees that had been forced out and more heavily influenced by the changes that were made once it had been taken over; she couldn't in clear conscience just eradicate resistance members as she had been instructed to so many times before, not now that she wasn't fighting for Garlean cause. But she was prepared to handle both options if he was proved to be a threat to her current course of action. She flashed him another smile as she looked up to meet his gaze, waiting patiently for a reply. ~~~ "Take your time lovely." Youkio replied easily with another grin in her direction, her blushing cheeks only encouraging him to keep the flirting on a mild level. Sure it was a piss poor time to be doing so, but distractions could be good for the nerves and if he could give her a proper reason to tremble later on; she might forget she was originally shaking from fear. Pacing a little, Youkio stretched as he moved, swinging his arms high above his head and arching his back slightly, a soft growl happily emitting from his throat in the process. Again he tossed his head; burgundy hair sweeping over his shoulders as his neck cracked, listening intently the whole time as Siha talked. He gave her a quick nod with a wave of his hand. "Sure sure, she's fine....though a few of us might have to share sleeping space." Casually tossing another wink at the girls before letting out a throaty laugh. "So Tempest 's out to take down whoever screwed ya'll over, huh? Not surprisin...Just hope ya never get on her bad side, missy. She earned that name while on our first leave after startin a bar wide brawl in the Wolf's Den, sucker punched a guy and it just exploded from there, was quite a sight seein how many she took out." Youkio chuckled again at the memory. "Poor slob wans't lyin tho, she does have a nice ass...." He hopped around, doing a bit of footwork in the process. "Far as gettin that bandit, sounds like fun, count me in." Life had gotten a bit boring now that Youkio was more stationary and who knows? He might luck out nick a bit of gil off whoever they're targeting. Could be a fair amount since this sounds like military setup and every bit helps to get Geruda back as fast as possible.

I'm not really one for carols... [video=youtube] [video=youtube] -
'Hah....." Youkio murmured, his brow arching as he idly chewed on a thumbnail. Well then...that made more sense. He hadn't been able to hear everything the two lovely ladies were chattering about but he had caught enough to piece the rest together. So Tempest was still hip deep in her old line of work and now it'd finally come back and bit her. She of course had never told him, but the way she had moved that day their ship had gotten attacked, the way she was able to get him from sniveling boy to man and act quick enough to survive and cling to some driftwood before getting scooped up by a sister ship. Those weren't skills typical of the Maelstrom's bottom rung. He sure as hell never learned them anyway. Languidly, Youkio sprung from his hiding perch and carefully but quickly made his way towards the waterfall; hands in the air at chest height to show he was unarmed. " 'scuse me ladies, I need ta speak with Miss Siha there...oh my....lovely, you are lovely darlin' that hair...and those eyes....bet you make quite a many man week in the knees." He smirked with a wink in Siha's direction. "Not to say some men don't enjoy a bit of power to their women as well...." Youkio added, cautiously sidestepping the lancer as he gave her a quick once over before getting out of spearing range...pity there was a cloak covering most of what he assumed was a taut figure. "But though my mind is already entertaining all the possible ways we could have a spot of fun, the three of us, alone out here next to this waterfall for ambiance...I'm here on official business ladies." Quirking a lopsided grin, Youkio gave a short and shallow bow, tail swishing behind him. "Tempest who's a mutual friend of Miss Siha here sent me out to find 'er. Now that I've found ya; I need to escort ya back to my hou-er...hiding place I've procured for the ya'll to stay safe 'till things cool off." Frowning, Youkio looked to the ground; hand scratching at the scruff on his chin with his right ear twitching. "What was it i was 'appose to tell you so you'd trust me? Hells....this damn memory of mine.." He muttered, pacing and tapping his the top of his head with his other fist as he thought. "...had somethin' to do with lights.....candle...no....lantern...no, that ain't it either.....Oh right!" Youkio exclaimed, snapping his fingers and pointing at Siha with a elated expression. "Lumiere! That's it! Somethin' 'bout Lumiere! Said it would be enough right there for ya to trust me!" Youkio smiled again, he wasn't aware of what the important was for the name being uttered but Tempest stressed very clearly he needed to remember it and Youkio was glad he hadn't let her down.
-
Just outside the cave and a few feet away; Youkio crouched atop a rock, hand gingerly probing his shiner. Wincing he stopped; his ears twitching as he strained to overhear the conversation between the two women. Up till this point it had been easy to follow Siha's scent but being closer to the sea had masked her smell...that and the other woman she was meeting with but it was still her; that was clear when the other woman called her by name. Rocking his head left and right; Youkio cracked his neck with a satisfying pop before settling onto the rock in a more comfortable sitting position. He could go ahead and announce his presence now, but waiting might prove to be more informative since Tempest was keeping her mouth shut on the details. Youkio wanted to help her, but it was difficult to provide much help if she didn't tell him what exactly was going on. Blowing a puff of air through his lips silently; Youkio rolled his shoulders as he listened, antsy to get this over and done with so he could return to his current house. Just as quickly as the parrot had left, he returned; landing atop the roof. "Boss says ya'll are alright." He cawed, moving from the roof to Siegheart's head with more of a calculated jump than glide. Tilting it's head to the side; Skittles cocked an eye at Cliodhna. "We're alright huh? That's good to know..." She murmured, reaching up to hold out her arm to the bird. "No thank's lady, he's comfy." Skittles replied, hopping on Sieg's head a couple of times for emphasis. Shrugging, Cliodhna lowered her arm. "Fair enough, but you seem to be a new friend to your boss, don't remember him having ya last time we met." Guiding Pepper to a hitching post by this point and removing the saddle bags in order to stash them in the house, though it was more busywork than anything. The more time Cliodhna was stationary, the more time she had to worry about things. Her main concerns were Siha's well-being, the quickly slapped together plan, Erik's safety, and if the Keeper in Flame's hands would break and reveal where the rest of them had scattered to. As it was now; no one was aware the three of them were still near Limsa, but Osric and his group were. If a team was dispatched this way; it was only a matter of time before they realized they were still here as well. Or if an escape to the Shroud was made; they could be walking into another ambush. Closing her eyes and hands gripped tightly on Pepper's reigns, Cliodhna forced herself to calm down. What was with the sudden wave of uneasiness? This was rarely a problem for her when a mission went array before. Sieg's words echoed in her mind. Emotions, stupid emotions. They were starting to creep in and dig roots in her, making her think of the others, making her feel things that should not be felt when in the middle of a situation like this. Biting her bottom lip hard, Cliodhna frowned. She had gotten comfortable waking in Erik's arms each morning, gotten used to seeing the rest of the unit each day and how they functioned more like a family, even the building would bring a calming sense of familiarity when it would appear in her line of sight. "Hells...." She murmured under her breath. Family was not important, friends even less so, the most important thing should always be the task at hand; the objective required to get the job done and get out alive. That's what was needed right now. No, it wasn't the Red Wing's way of doing things; it was the years of Imperial training that surfaced, that screamed at her; get your job done and SURVIVE. "Someone's gotta watch out for 'em. Fool'd be strung up by now on his own." Skittles sniffed, raising his beak in the air self importantly. The parrot's words drawing Cliodhna from her thoughts, forcing her features to smooth, she gave it a wary smile. "Ya ain't lyin bird, ya ain't lyin." Though hollow to her own ears, Clidohna knew it was the proper response in words and tone that would put the bird at ease and make herself appear to have a grip on the situation. They didn't need her as she was now; they needed the Imperial solider and that's what Cliodhna would garb herself in. Her mask, the child prodigy that could kill a man without a backwards glance at a young age, eager for the praise it would get her when the mission was over, the mask that would let her blend in and adapt to any situation, the mask of perfect confidence and poise, precise planning and razor sharp execution. Cliodhna took a slow breath and started to brush the road out of Pepper's feathers; she wasn't quite sure when she had lost herself, but now was the time she desperately needed Nightshade back.

"Hmm?" Cliodhna glanced over at Seigheart when he spoke as they started on the road that would eventually lead to Rogue River. "Youkio's a good kid....bit misguided but regardless of his feelings; he won't betray me. He literally owes me his life." She smiled softly, a smile that failed to meet her eyes. "Because of that, he fell a bit hard and has taken some time getting over me....sounds silly I know, but young hearts tend to make stupid decisions." Teeth worrying her bottom lip; Cliodhna's mind drifted to some stupid decisions of her own when she had been younger. Thankfully things had worked out but that was apparently a rare case. "In any case, he'll act as if it didn't bother him but it'll keep him from trying another attempt to get too friendly before we're done here." By this point they had arrived near the river and close to the cliff was a fairly nice sized shack...as far as shacks go anyway. Dismounting, Cliodhna cautiously neared the shack; the windows were blacked out and there was a rustling that could be heard inside. Motioning for Sieg to stay; she cautiously and silently swung the door open, her eyes already adjusted to the night didn't take long to adjust to the thicker darkness inside the shack. It was empty save for Youkio's possessions flung around carelessly. Just as she was about to call that it was safe, a pink streak flew past Cliodhna and took to higher skies; letting out a exuberant call. "Thanks lady, was frikin dark in there!!!" Frowning, Cliodhna looked up; eyes following the pink parrot as it darted off the direction they had come from. Youkio was following the trail of this Siha person. Granted it had been hard; the rain, her companion nearby, blood and the smell of two others over Tempest had made picking out scents slightly difficult....but one smell was most definitely female....and a keeper from what he could tell. The other had been a weird mixture of Eelzen and Highlander and smelling a bit more intimate than the others. Snarling, Youkio pushed that thought to the back of his mind. Tempest would come to her senses eventually, till then; he just had to be there when she needed him like he was now. This thought restored Youkio's hope, flashing another grin he lifted his head and breathed deeply; catching the scent again and followed it towards the Zypher gate. He didn't get too far outside before something settled on his shoulder. " 'ey boss, ya got company at ta' house." Squawked the bird. "Girl an a tall guy both in cloaks?" Youkio asked softly. "Aye, an a bird." Youkio nodded. "Don't worry about 'em Skittles; they're friends. Go back 'n keep an eye on 'em for me." He then shooed off the bird and continued following this Siha's scent at an easy pace, tail swaying with his movements.

Cliodhna nodded listening, before contacting Siha she had heard some disturbing news on the Flame link line. "Siha, they're already putting the next steps into motion. I'm not sure who; but one of ours has been captured; a Keeper. I don't want to worry you but you need to know this is serious and we are risking quite a bit with our current course of action. You have the option to seek shelter and I would advise you take it, but if you insist on staying; myself or Piper will find you. He'll know what to say so you know he's with me..though he will call me Tempest. Until then I highly advise you remove your pearl; even if we're not on the Flame line, they can still trace us. This is the last time I will have my pearl active until we're in safer footing." After the call ended, she swapped over to the Flame channel. Things seemed quite but there was no details on which Keeper was caught. It could have been either Mikh'a or Kahn'a. Sighing softly, Cliodhna placed her hands over her face and scrubbed her features from frustration. This was quickly heading into a worse situation. She could understand Mikh'a being captured but if he was; the others in Ul'Dah would of course react to rescue.....On the other hand, she couldn't figure Kahn'a would let himself be caught. Moving to Pepper; she dug into the saddle bag and removed a small leather pouch. Tugging on the drawstring to open it, Cliodhna slipped out her pearl and placed it in the bag, it landing with a soft weight next to Steiner's soul chip. He was in one of the saddle bags but at the moment it was not safe for him to be active. Standing near Pepper, her hand idly brushing over her feathers; Cliodhna let her gaze drift over the blackness of the water as the stars twinkled above. It had been some time since the bridge and the rain but it felt like another lifetime...her free hand twisting the ring on her thumb worriedly; the side of her index finger brushing over the front of the gold ring, feeling the grooves that marked it as a Flame's signet ring. Erik used it for sealing his documents, but he hadn't notice her slip it from his hand when they parted, or he simply let her, She mused silently; both options were plausible. Though some would say it was an awful thought; Cliodhna had been grateful the captured wing hadn't been Erik. The others were....slowly becoming known to her on a personal level, but being used to being on her own for so long and not bothering to form lots of longstanding relationships; she wasn't as concerned as Siha most likely was at the moment. Erik was still safe; that's what mattered to Cliodhna. "Hey what's with that face?" Feeling a weight around her shoulders, Cliodhna looked back, her dark green eyes meeting Piper's garnet ones. "Well bein on the run does that to a girl, you should know that by now seein as how many you've chased off." She replied offhandedly, erasing the worry from her features and showing him a grin before giving him a poke in the chest but firmly causing him to step back as she used her other hand to shove his arm from her shoulders. "Aw c'mon Tempest, ya know they all pale in comparison....." He murmured softly, his mouth set into a line. "I'll never find another that can stand a chance 'gainst ya....." Cliodhna shook her head, "Pi-Youkio, I've told ya before and I still stand at it; you're not it. I'm sorry, I really am but I'll never be what you want or need me to be. Find yourself a nice girl and settle down; ya can't keep livin in the past." Looking away, Youkio reached up and scratched the back of his head; tousling his hair in the process. "Whatever....I'm still here for ya, where's yer guy if he's so damn-f-fuck!!" His hand flew to his quickly swelling eye as it teared. "The hell Tempest?!" "Piper." Cliodhna murmured quietly. "You say one more GODSDAMN WORD about any of this to me and I break every bone in your body before feeding you to Leviathan. Are. We. Clear." By this point the boat had docked and Seig was already departing, waiting for them on the dock. "Now, you need to go find my other contact. She's a keeper, blonde, short, look near water, I heard waves in the background and not a lot of people so she's most likely tucked away in a corner out of sight....Tell her..." Lowering her voice, Clidohna tugged in Youkio's ear to her height; causing him to wince as he listened. "Ya got it?" She asked. He nodded, still rubbing the shiner. "Yeah, yeah I got it. Now for the three of ya and your bird need ta get through the city careful and head for the Zephyr Gate, Northa there I got a small shack out by Rogue River. It ain't much but you'll be able to stretch yer legs and not be spotted as easily." Clidohna nodded, giving him a pat on the shoulder. "Thanks....We'll be outta your hair soon." Were her last words as they parted; Youkio headed for the outskirts of Limsa and Cliodhna with Seigheart towards the gate.

Those are all things I've been referencing, but it's nice to have them in one place if I need to reference them again! I guess I should've been more specific. I was wondering if there was some collected place where the community collated information from within the game, or fanon that is generally agreed on? I just like having as much information as possible before I go into something! Thank you for all the warm welcomes! I'm really excited to start RPing with all of you! ;u; OH-KAY sorry, meant to reply last night but my laptop has been giving me some S E R I O U S issues with my screen so it's taken awhile, sorry about the delay. >n<;;; If you're wanting some more lore specific info that the community has mostly agreed on; check the wiki we have *points to the link right under the main banner on the page* That should have more of the type of info you're looking for. Also if you're unsure of something, never be afraid to just out and ask by making a thread or asking whoever you happen to be chatting with (either in game or on the forums). Let them know you're new to rping/ffxiv and I'm sure you'll be swamped in helpful replies. c:

[[Don't mid me carting you around for a little while ]] Cliodhna ended the link and sighed. Sounds Piper had a bit of bad luck but at leas he had a place to keep them for awhile thankfully. Regardless of Sieg's decision; he could stay there safely until he got out or help them as they tried to salvage the situation. If he did decide to bail; Piper would be enough to help Cliodhna keep an eye on Siha. She knew her and Erik were close and did't want any harm to come to the small Keeper. Brushing back her soggy bangs out of her eyes again, she relayed the information of their apparent safe house in Limsa and made her way to Peppergrass; her dark purple chocobo she'd manage to bring with her from Ala Mhigo. Riffling through the saddlebag she pulled out two large cloaks. Pulling off her flame garb and stuffing it back into the bag, she quickly fastened the cloak around her shoulders before tossing the other one to Sieg. "To keep warm and to keep that axe hidden." Cliodhna murmured, swinging into Pepper's saddle with less grace than she liked; that wound was still making her movements a bit cumbersome. She figured Siha had already started on her way there; Cliodhna had seen her part ways with Sieg and Limsa was the best chance for a Mog mail carrier....though it was a bit dangerous to be on her own; it was easier for the Keeper to blend in versus the two of them in two with her. Motioning for Sieghart to follow, the two made their way out of the Drydocks; with little to no difficulty. As they neared the Ferry docks in Costa del Sol, Cliodhna caught sight of a somewhat tall figure crouched atop the odd rock formation that arched over the road. Glancing up, she tugged the regns on Pepper, urging her to a stop. "Get down, I see ya already." Though soft in the night air; Cliodhna knew it would reach his ears. Youkio flashed a grin and stood before casually leaping off the ledge and landing in front of them. "My my my Tempest.....Lover's escape?" He asked, eyeing Sieghart. "I knew ya kept turnin me down for someone but never woul'da guessed I'd get ta meet him finally." Cliodhna shook her head after giving Seig a look signifying he not question her nickname. "Ya know when ya talk Piper, it tends to show people how dumb ya can be....That's not him." She scoffed as Youkio gave her a pouting look; ears flat against his head and hands shoved in his pockets. "Hey, it's Youkio for now and Ya ain't gotta be so harsh, was just tryin to say I was happy for ya...." He mumbled, before shrugging it off. "Hey ya said there was a third? Where is he?" "She and she should be in the city by now. I gotta go find her once we get there so let's quit draggin our asses with all the chatter and move." Cliodhna replied, already antsy from being on the middle of the road for so long. "Ah, there's my Tempest! I missed ya, luv. " Youkio purred, taking a moment to hug her low on the waist and nuzzle her shoulder. "Already bought off the ferryman so don't worry about corssin, let's go." Once on the ship, Cliodhna tapped her pearl once again in hopes of checking in on Siha.
