Probably an engineer or bookworm of some sort actually. Possibly even a librarian, if he couldnt pursue the fields he was interested in. If not those, then probably just a militant sort that is good at mindlessly following orders.

If we are simply talking Eligor in the story as the WoL PERSONALITY wise with none of his actual story character development that takes place around the same time frame....he honestly would not be that different. At least up until after he faces down Ifrit. At that point he would start questioning every little thing. Wtf is going on here? Why doesnt anyone else do anything worthwhile? WHY THE FUCK DO THEY CALL ME TO TELL ME TO COME TALK TO THEM? Why is the leader an idiot? This would likely eat at him until he gets to Cape Westwind, at which point the knowledge that he was being used as the MOST IMPORTANT PIECE in what wa essentially a campaign in multiple places along with the growing irritation and inkling that he was being used would come to their breaking point, and he would surprise switch sides. I imagine that the Garleans probably wouldnt be too happy about this however seeing has he has already massacred like....hundreds of them by this point, so after being the main reason operation Archon FAILS he would veer off and basically be on the run, looking into ways to gain more strength to protect himself and understand the nature of the primals more intimately. Ultimately he wouldnt really be able to find much, as his source of information(The many npcs associated with the Scions and the GCs) was effectively cut off with his betrayal, leaving him to either Ally with one of the primals knowing they could not temper him, or fighting a war of survival by his lonesome until he was finally hunted down, outmaneuvered, and then most likely murdered.

Atomos. I thoroughly enjoyed Atomos showing up in 1.0 randomly and just ruining everyones day, then again in CT(cause reasons). EDIT: OR Ravana. Cause he sings the most badass song ever. Dat manliness~<3

The Yakuza type that gets into fights all the time and is constantly eating junk food. Also suspiciously makes the library one of his frequent hang out areas when not smashing faces.

Attempt to lvl Dark Knight unless I hate it. If I do hate it, I will come crawling back to my Monk and lvl it to 60, then KAMEHAMEHA~!!!!!! All of the things.

While my character hasnt personally been kidnapped, seeing as almost everyone that actually sees him as an enemy with no room for gray area mostly think so because they believe him to be a danger and would rather kill him outright instead of bothering with a kidnapping, he has been paid at least twice to kidnap another character for a job. Usually doesnt do anything to them that he wasnt paid to do or to guarantee his own safety. Im not a big fan of IC kidnapping though. Forces people to be ooc for a time, usually feels really black & white, and unless either someone dies or someone is paid I personally feel like the plot failed somehow, as it feels like its just left out in the open and then everyone is like.....nonchalant or overly dramatic about it later.

BLACK walls/floors and options to adjust lighting. LET ME LIVE MY BATMAN FANTASY SE ITS NOT FAIR. Floating lighting items that stay in place.(Like a floating lantern or will-o-wisp type item). Actual liquor cabinets and similar furnishings so that my bar doesnt look like its almost empty or something because the few furnishings that do have booze in em are nearly empty for some reason. A working sink. [TL;DR: Basically an armoury system for housing] An "instance" save area where you can preplace items for housing on a template, then shift them on the fly so you dont have to redecorate for different months/seasons/events and the like, you can just switch to a presaved template. Also would be neat if it could act as a form of storage, so we dont have to DESTROY our super expensive one time placing items because they dont fit into the house for whatever reason at the time and we dont have a good place to put them. Not exactly a furnishing and more of a feature....but the ability to dye lighting and existing wallpapers and flooring. A lot of it would be EPIC if it was just another color. A play pen for minions. Arena borders so characters can PVP within the limits of the area.(NEVER GONNA HAPPEN I KNOW) The outfits for the junkmongers/menders/materials supplier furnishings, and/or the ability to customize their actual appearance at least once. Blank portraits you can place screenshots in. The removal of the *ONLY ONE OF THIS ITEM CAN BE PLACED AT A TIME* mechanic. Higher item placement limit. The ability to make any flat or otherwise stationary surface "sittable". Holograms of primals and other beasts in the game that you can access, giving you a reason to slaughter em all. Futons. A bath that is actually "inside" of the floor.(Never gonna happen) outdoor bath. drapes and the option to remove windows from rooms. ice sculptures. ....I'll go on forever so I'll just stop here.

Instead of enduring the mental trauma of what that would be like with actual real life physics involved my mind took me to a happier place where moogles are born from witty songs and seeds of joy planted in the Black Shroud.

Seriously though for walkups its more about plugging your character into a situation you feel they could fit into. And you likely cant find out if it is one if you wallflower the Quicksand all day, so just be brave here and there and try Rping next to someone. If it doesn't work out, take some time to recover and try again with someone else. I personally believe its more about conquering your own fear of being a horribad Rper than it is about walking up when it comes to walk ups. Also not being an intrusive titmelon.
