It was something that popped up in an OOC chat with a friend of mine, how Lren ICly complimented the groups he's been involved with in the past and given his current status... Lonely Wolf certainly fits him! Doesn't help that, to this day, I still main Guile / Charlie in any SF or Capcom crossover game so there is some influence there.

Lren Rendarren's Story (A stay behind) "Some might say that the Calamity was the end of all things as we know it... Naw, I be thinkin' that it was beginning of somethin' else. What's been whispered has been that it was a failed attempt to steal it. It's also been one of the few times that spear has rumored to leave his back... Fell off the damn map he did after until recently. Word's been making it's way around that he's makin' for Gridania. These kinds of attitudes is why I get wary of being placed into groups. It's always nice to bring at least one friend along, least then you can kinda joke or something to help... Brighten the mood. Sometimes see quite a bit of this when playing fighting games too. The amount of rage messages I've gotten from Street Fighter and the few from Marvel vs Capcom is staggering. The brightside is, you only see those people for a few minutes at most... MOBAs or MMOs, you're generally stuck with the toxic behavior for at least fifteen or more minutes.

Turned 23 about two months ago along with my identical twin, first RPing on forums then moved onto WC3 then WoW... Branched out from there, though I sometimes find myself returning for old friends and the like. Never got into FFXI's RP community too much, always wish I had done more to get involved but oh well ;; I've taken a few creative writing courses in College but my programming has always taken the front seat, though I occasionally like to make my games feature some of things I've encountered through RP!

Both Lren and Corthier will mainly be Lancers, with each one going down different paths in how they choose to support their role.

I would say let's not start getting worked up until something is announced. I understand the need for worst case scenario back-up plans, but it isn't official yet. Even if they do that, there are ways to deal with it. Likely they would open up transfers after a few months anyway. We could just create an alt version of our characters on the RP server to get us through until then. Certainly the best way to look at it. In the long run, things will even out... Just the short term that we kinda all have to maneuver about.

Just put down Brother, thinking sworn siblings would count. ;; Lren's family was wiped out at various points in time due to rising conflicts, so he marches onto the battlefield with his head held up high. Though, during the time between the calamity and ARR, he's been busy getting drunk trying to run from his mistakes and failings. It will be his Sworn Brother that gets back onto the field of battle, not as a Soldier but as an Adventurer. :3
