  2. Character name: Sanja Polaali Description: San is a 16 year old. She was born and raised in the deep shroud, although her clan is currently living in Thanalan, as they search for a permenant home in the shroud. San is just now learning to read and write so letters from her might include drawings and bad spelling. MSQ complete. Anonymous? No
  3. Were there shoes to match the Ul'dan ladies clothes? if not what did everyone use?
  4. K'tahjha's ears perk at the sound of her name, she smiles brightly as she skirts the area of light around the bonfire, trying not to look at it. As she reaches K'luha she reaches to give her a hug, she's excited to tell her about the hunt, but doesn't want to interrupt the adult's conversation. "Hey K'ile, you really going to fight my papa?"
  5. Having been unsuccessful in locating her sister, wandering about the camp and not knowing her tent position in the new area, K'tahjha reluctantly goes back towards the fire. She skirts the edge of the area keeping as far from the flames as she can. She scans the gathering crowd, hoping to see her aunt or K'iara, she didn't know if she was allowed to eat the food, but her stomach growls hungrily. She frowns briefly at K'ile's announcement. Surely this was a joke or just for entertainment, she didn't want to see either getting hurt. K'zhumi glides into the fire circle, adorned in her ceremonial gear, the trinkets and jewelery sparkling and glowing in the firelight. She scowls, there was no way that Tia would be K'yohko in a fair challenge, but for sure her services would be needed before morning.
  6. My character Sanja and her mate, Khloe.
  7. K'tahjha hung away from huntresses and watched. She hadn't particpated in the kills as she was there only to observe. Still her eyes were filled with excitement, the hunt itself had been amazing to watch and she was hopeful she would be allowed to take her trial soon and join the next hunt. Eventually her thoughts turned to her sister and how badly she had been injured. With a last look at the large beasts proudly displayed by the fire Tahj slips off to seek K'nahli. In her tent, K'zhumi has cleaned herself thoroughly, and was donning her finest robes and putting on ceremonial jewelery. Finally she braids charms and other trinkets into her long hair and heads for the fire.
  8. Sanja can't read. She know's her abc's and her name and most of her clan member's first names.
  9. K'zhumi looks at K'nahli with a hint of amusement, "You have a good work ethic. Yes, if you can cook, work hides, or some such, it will be fine. If that is still sore in the next day or two, you come and visit me. Okay?"
  10. K'zhumi smiles gently at K'nahli, reaching to smooth the girl's bangs back down over the now stitched cut. "You're more than welcome. Anytime you need anything, you're welcome to visit my tent." She turns to her supplies wiping her hands and putting things back in their place. She places a thick ointment into a small container, offering it to K'nahli. "Work this into the sore area twice a sun until the bruising goes away. I'd like you to rest tomorrow, let one of your sisters do your chores. Do you have any other questions?"
  11. K'zhumi pauses once more a smile curving her lips,"The wounds have healed very well, some of the muscles still need stretching and strengthening, but everything is in working order." she smirks to herself as she goes back to work on that cut.
  12. K'zhumi, pauses in her stitching to look at K'nahli, struggling to keep her face straight and the blush off her cheeks. "I did visit the Nuhn's tent not long ago. I wanted to be sure he was fully healed. That was a nasty wound." Hoping the huntress would drop the matter, K'zhumi goes back to attending the cut.
  13. K'zhumi smiles and reaches for a cloth and clear fluid, cleaning the wound on K'nahli's forehead thoroughly. She then applies an ointment into the small laceration,"This will help it's healing and numb it a slight bit. I'll let that work while I clean these other wounds." She turns her attention to the scrapes and cuts on the huntress' arms and legs, cleaning them gently but fully. "Now a couple of stitches and you'll be free to return to your tent to rest." Zhumi begins to place small, neat stitches into the forehead laceration.
  14. Forcing her ears to stay in a neutral position, K'zhumi waits patiently for K'nahli to finish with her gear, wincing ever so slightly at her patient's cries of pain. Seeing K'nahli is ready, Zhumi turns fully towards the huntress bending over to get a closer look. She reaches to palpate the injury, pausing before she makes contact with the girl, "This might hurt a bit. If you need to yell at me go ahead. No one here to listen but me." She palpates the bruised area as gently as she can finally straightening with a smile. "You have a nasty bruise there, but no major damage has been done." She pushes K'nahli's bangs back with a frown, then turns to her supplies. "I can give you an ointment to spread into that hip and side area, that will make it less painful and heal faster. Unless you'd like me to apply it?" I'd like to clean those scrapes on your arms, and take a couple stitches into your forehead." she smiles waiting for K'nahli's answer.
  15. K'zhumi nods, a reassuring smile on her lips, not wanting to make the huntress feel uncomfortable or that she was being judged. "Do you mind if I take a look? " indicating that K'nahli should expose the hip. She turns to firmly close the tent flap to preserve the girl's dignity. Waiting for K'nahli to get settled, Zhumi sets out her supplies, clean cloths and some cleaner for the smaller scraps and cuts, and various ointments, plus stitching materials if needed. She has her grimoire close at hand as well.
  16. K'zhumi's brows furrow in worry,"Of course don't be silly." she waves the girl back into the tent, her eyes scanning for obvious injuries. She spots some small scrapes and cuts on the girl's arms, and a tiny amount of blood coming from under the hairline. What worries her most is the limp. "Have a seat please and let me have a look. What happened?" She sets her satchel down , pulling out the items she'd likely need, while her ear focuses on K'nahli.
  17. K'zhumi hadn't gotten more than a few paces towards the fire circle, when she looked back and saw the chocobo in front of her tent. With a frowns, she stops dead in her track and turns and hurries back. Wondering if K'yohko's youngest daughter had gotten in the way and been injured. Reaching her tent, she calls softly,"Out here." as she reaches for the flap.
  18. K'tahjha stops immediately at K'iara's order. No thoughts of disobedience, she assumes K'iara will take care of her sister. She quickly trots over to where a few of the more experienced huntresses were attaching the massive beasts to the chocobos. She pauses to lovingly stroke Rhiki's beak, secretly glad that he was not needed to help drag the kills home. At his age she was afraid it would be too much strain on him. She is a quick study and is soon helping steady the birds and helping to securely fasten the harnesses.
  19. K'tahjha breathes a sigh of relief as K'iara deals with the aggitated beast. Then she remembers her sister, she scrambles off the hill heading for K'mih and K'nahli, knowing the injured girl could be caught in the fire or trampled by another terrified beast. She arrives at the girls' side breathing heavily, eyes concerned. "Can I help?" K'zhumi cleans herself up and puts on fresh robes as she arrives at her tent. She begins to put away her supplies, but pauses, her brow furrowed. She has a sense of uneaziness she can't shake and so takes her tome and her bag of supplies and heads down to where the ceremonial fire was held earlier to wait the hunting party.
  20. K'tahjha still lay flattened on the overlooking hill. She is so engrossed in the battle, and trying to absorb everything she can so she would be able to help next time, that she only becomes aware of the new bull charging in to the fight seconds before K'nahli herself. Tahj's eyes widen and her mouth hangs open soundlessly. Somehow even over the din of the battle and the thundering hooves of the massive animals, the sickening crunch of the animal hitting the huntress reaches Tahj's ears. Her panicked gaze seeks out the rest of the hunting party only to find them engaged with multiple foes. She turns back to K'nahli to find her still down with the animal targeting her with it's fury. Tahj closes her eyes, whispering, "I'm only supposed to watch, I'm not supposed to interfere." Finally her eyes snap open and she pushes herself erect with a snarl of challenge to the beast, drawing her bow and taking careful aim. She knew from watching that targeting the massive bone filled skull would do her no good, so she targets the reletively softer parts, aiming for the flank and undersides. She releases arrows as fast as she can seeking to distract the beast from it's intended target. Tahj grins in triumph as she beast gives an angry cry, turning it's head to seek the source of it's torment. As it spots her and turns her way her ears flatten, she hadn't thought this far,"Now what?"
  21. I would love to participate in the giveaway! and Merry Christmas.
  22. I like my kitty and have no urge to play an Au Ra. But I am looking forward to my girl seeing one of the first time.
  23. K'zhumi leans forward to examine the arm, feeling and prodding along the now healed edges of the wounds. Finally satisfied with what she sees, she asks Yohko to make some range of motion movements and flex the arm for her. "Does it feel strong? Is there any residual pain?" she asks him. K'tahjaha is still laying flat on her belly at the top of the hill overlooking the huntresses as they struggle to take down the large, hairy beast. She cringes as K'iara is thrown, but exhales in relief as she scrambles clear of the deadly hooves. Tahj, reaches instinctively for an arrow before frowning and placing it back in her quiver. She is only to observe, and likely very lucky her usually taciturn older sister is allowing her to do that. She sighs and settles back against the ground to watch anxiously.
  24. K'zhumi sits in the indicated spot and watches with interest as the remaining bandages were unwound. She places her satchel and tome in front of her in case it was needed."This new land feels odd. If the hunt goes well I think it will accept us. How are you finding it?" Not really much of a conversationalist, her attempts at small talk are akward at best, but she has little enough reason to sit with the nuhn alone in his tent.
  25. K'zhumi enters the tent and lets the flap shut behind her as requested. Having no need to enter the nunh's tent before, she let her eyes roam around curiously, eventually settling on K'yohko. "Forgive me for intruding on your meditation, but I wanted to examine you to be sure your wounds have healed properly." Having backtracked to where she last saw K'nahli, K'tahjha was puzzled to find the place empty, her heart momentarily dropping. Did she take a wrong turn? She sniffs the air, no this is definately where her sister was. Tahj waited quietly with the group as K'iara went to the top of the hill to scout. Then, as the lead huntress gave the signal, Tahj crawled to the edge of the hill on her belly to watch the hunt. Her eyes widen as she sees K'rahto apparently attacking K'nahli, then she cringes as K'iara seizes the male. Well that was going to hurt later, Tahj just hoped he didn't get trampled.
