Only few were limited by lore wise. Some pass the trials and some don't. Few people who don't pass would either become a free paladin or back to the first training. Some also join Brass Blades or Immortal Flame should they don't pass the trials. In cases for Erik, he fits for I.F. Captain while being a Sworn as a side career if he's called for Sultana's assistance. Either position he is in, he literally can be called for Sultana's assistance - but as a Sworn, he'd be involved in their affairs at any terms.

To me, so far aside from housing and glamour disappointments... (And Musketeers), he hasn't disappointed majorly on other side of FF14 contents. So I find that this could be resolved slowly receiving people's feedbacks. He did say that he will do his best to add even more additional wards for 2.4, so wait for it I guess

As you can see, I've had some frustrations and burn out and addiction to this game during the 2.2-2.3 period. I had IRL issues and a lot of depressions - and had to go off on hiatus from FF14 for a month or two. It's never too bad to take a break for yourself. the game can always wait and players will be there too. Should your friends are not there anymore, there are newer friends. Otherwise, you can always remind them that you are back and you want to play again.

Feel free to contact Anelia Sadowyn when I am available! She has nothing but to take care of helping people inside Ul'dah anyways, so she could use some walk-out for some time.

Sorry to hear that you are leaving Kage, despite that I teased you multiple times in-game - you were one of the most friendly people and best contributor I've seen in RPC. When you first came in, you were completely new to everything - and at the end, you were the most contributing person and welcoming new members and helping them out. I am aware that there were lot of dramas that has happened and also your issues with end-games and RP etc - but I hope that will be resolved someday (don't know when), but you are always welcomed here as a friend among all of us. I'll frequently ask Nat to see how you are doing, (that is if she's staying). Best wishes to you though!

With the help of some of my IRL friends in the game, they actually helped me get the large plot for my old FC on Ward 7 in Mist. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without them since they don't RP but they always knew since 2.0 that I was really aiming to buy a large one. I'll definitely PM you when it's fully furnished and designed. I'll be hosting an event in the future for open house!

Rule #1 when dealing with angry people: Never, EVER say their anger is unjustified. I run into this kind of response so often it drives me bonkers. Why would you ever think that being unsympathetic would somehow make things better? It doesn't. It NEVER works. So don't do it. Please. This goes for everybody. It should be an absolutely basic rule of thumb. There have been so many instances where I get angry at something and people are just like "well that's not even that bad" which only makes me angrier! Seriously, just don't... don't. Just... stop that. Really. I don't want to hear it and I'm pretty damn sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. I just think it's too early for me to say that their decision is final and they refuse to change it. I honestly don't think they expected plots to be sold by individuals over FC. Do people really hate the personal rooms in their FC? I am just curious, because when I first went to Erik's personal room, it was pretty spacious than the first original small FC space. I really won't talk about my end in FC because I do understand how people feel and upset they are, all I am saying is for the 5th time - don't quit the game.

I think you still missed my point. Even if everyone is angry, would it be enough to quit the game forever because of housing issues? Yes, absolutely. I've seen games fail in months because their player base was lied to. Then that's their choice. There are like 80% of other ways to enjoy your game. Even if people did own their house for RP purposes, they'll always end up going to RP in Quicksand or DW anyways. It's only the first day they implemented individual housing and yes the plots are limited and wards are limited. That whole 2.38 patch discussion about housing for past three weeks now makes sense. Personal Housing being expensive? I knew this was going to happen way before 2.1, where I told some people that it'll be as expensive as FC house and many members in RPC crucified me saying that I was trolling but I wasn't I was really being honest because I felt that it'd be unfair for FCs to gain their house should players only gained their own house to RP in their own house. FC will be empty. completely. But can we like just wait... for like a week or two to have them reconsider or explain their reason better than that Yoshi-P's post? He probably was posting in a hurry since everyone were raging. NOTE edit: Also there are many games that brought disappointments than FF14 -2.0-. They always listened after massive negative feedbacks. I think this is one of them. Just wait. don't quit.

Even though what devs said was a false hope for everyone, is it really killing enough for players to quit the game over personal housing? I'd rather not hope that people are quitting this game over housing. Because FF14 is not made for housing really. It's for cosmetic expansion imo. There will be more wards and plots coming up, just gotta be patient is all. They just started implementing on this. NOTE: People told Yoshida to resign when he over-priced the FC houses when it first came out. This issue will be resolved.
