  1. Personally, I think this is also the best way to go as a safe measure. Regardless, I think we will have some creepy factor in terms of gender change related anyways. But the thing is, as Solis said - the vial of fantasia is required for real money to buy the bottle. At least two to return back to yourself. OR you can pretend to be a female without using the bottle should your budget cannot do much. It honestly can just be private RP between people who sign up to do it. Some people do their own RP in terms of plot and events - and even within the FC to avoid conflicts with all other roleplayers outside the event. The potential issues have been listed. Other people have recognized them as valid issues, and even the OP has acknowledged that these issues can be a problem and, to his credit, is placing guidelines in his plot to help mitigate them. Are you sure you're defending him the way you think you are? I think at this point, the way I am reading it is that you are just trying to prove something here as in to aggravate me more. But I'll just stop bickering with you since it's going nowhere.
  2. Previous poster attitudes are informed by the tiredness of the plot and the obvious ease with which the plot could lead into some shady business. Previous poster attitudes are being excellent in trying to kibosh the problem before it comes to light. I commend the previous poster for being excellent. I am pretty sure this isn't called "We choose our roleplayers selectively and weed out people who think differently from us." - Because this community is made for people to show civil manners and show friendly tones and try to work it out between players if they have some kind of issues. If you think that kind of attitude is being excellent, then you obviously are just being a sadistic troll and is not really doing any favor for the OP to improve his ideas of events.
  3. Positivity was not listed as a requirement for posting in the thread. While making childish snarking comment is required? See what I was writing below and then come back to me. Yes you wrote that AFTER I posted about mine. But that still doesn't change the fact that aside from your well written suggestions afterwards doesn't really apply to the previous poster's attitudes before mine and yours. It's a violation of the first rule regardless. What Gharen did was wrong.

  5. Technically, the OP can set up a certain rule boundaries while doing this event. And people can agree to not to cross that line. But that's okay, because I think putting rules can actually make people worry less about anything that might happen to their character like "groping" or even get their character killed or severely injured.
  6. Because this isn't about someone changing their character's body, it's about someone being in the body of someone else's character. People are understandably hesitant about allowing for their own character's body to potentially be abused. Or it is something that people can just choose to participate in or not? This isn't something that people are forced to do so. Why is everyone so oppressed to this idea when the OP didn't even say "we all should do it as it is a mandatory thing". It was just thrown for people who might be interested in trying out. Honestly, I am not quite sure why people are seriously being so hostile and immature about this. Even if Solis did want to bring this idea up, I am PRETTY sure it's just non-canon. As in, it doesn't affect your character too much. You can RP with other people normally as your own character, but while you are participating in this particular event, you can pretend to be someone else (Like Admiral Merlwyb) within the group who only volunteered to participate in this event. Guys, if you don't want to participate in it - then don't participate it. But don't put circle jerk comments and give OP a hard time.
  7. I couldn't make it due to IRL concerns. I hope someone will keep me informed about this or if there is another meeting in the future, please let me know. Edit: Apparently I can't read. I read the calendar as today for some reason. I might try to show up, but no guarantees for 11th.
  8. I'll admit I was a bit too busy with IRL stuff considering that I had some exams coming up and my schedule's gotten worse. For now, please do not request for any commissions from me since I am actually busy. If you feel that you didn't get what you wanted in regards to coloring, I will gladly refund it to you without any questions in bonus pay for the coloring. I'll take full responsibility for my negligence on my end and since Natalie was the only one who did pay in advance, she will get her refund as stated. Thanks. Edit: Sent the Refund back for the coloring extra payment.
  9. What if they use their magic to make the armor feel lighter? There are plenty of magic spells that exist.
  10. In FF11, Red Mages did wear light to heavy chain mail armor based equipment since they were like mixture of all round magic user plus weapon user. - So it's possible to wear armor that can be considered heavy while using magic. Armors shouldn't affect one to cast magic, imo. *In relay to answer Seriphyn/Kale's question*
  11. Honestly, these aren't really in lore terms, but I've seen couple of RPers use these terms Tree huggers Sand lickers Popotos - to Lalafells Sea Swaggers
  12. I actually do suspect that little runt. She got into trouble several times, and almost got WoL get eaten by Morbol.
  13. Honestly, it's a player's choice of whether they want to pay or not pay for the event. There are plenty of other events that won't even charge gil for participation, so my suggestion is to seek for those. All of these events are really just optional thing for people to enjoy for themselves, but most of the fundraising purpose is to get FC housing or help them to make crafting gears and get materias for Zodiacs. Most RP FCs that I've seen so far from their fundraising events have not done anything to "steal" gil from other players for their own personal advantage but to help out their FC to shape better. Neither did Grindstone. Because you pretty much get your gil back if you win, but the entry fee is really small. You can literally earn 10k gil in a day or two.
  14. First of all, for NINs and DRGs should never have Final Heaven as animation since they don't really use fist. While Braver/Blade Dance also makes no sense either. The whole LBs need to be readjusted to be appropriate for each classes and jobs. Bards having healing LB made no sense from the start, and I am glad they are getting their own LB. This game has a lot of weird mechanic logics and they haven't fixed that part since 1.0 unfortunately. Braver/BD/Final Heaven cast time shouldn't really change, but their weapon animations have to change into something else.
  15. Technically, this whole city lore itself was literally a clusterfuck since 1.0. And I am kind of semi-glad that this happened because with Sultana in it's system the Syndicate were kind of passive-aggressively using Nanamo as a puppet to do their own bidding. Considering that she's -dead-, it's clearly now obvious that the city is finally shown their true colors of becoming lawful evil than doing goods for people. *packs out of stupid city* Tired of licking these sand bricks for them scum politicians.
  16. Or Momodi had no idea? Not everything needs to be a conspiracy with the entire city plotting against the main-character. She did recommend taking it to the Alchemist's Guild, but the main-character was preoccupied with "more important things to do". That's literally what all of us want to think. Look at Ilberd. We didn't think he'd go bad.
  17. I also think Momodi is behind the whole scheme of Uldah conspiracy. The way the plot goes, Momodi's actions had been quite strange if people talked to her for 2.55.
  18. Dirty, dirty outsiders. No, no, no, you go to Mor Dhona with all the other vagabonds and vagrants. *shoos* With that said, I'd probably prefer to just take the armor from Ishgard and wear them but not be part of them like a free paladin would I have a feeling that every new Job quests for existing jobs will be available only after completing 2.55, getting Heavensward and will be related to Ishgard. Not sure about others, but Alberic is already there, and Jenlyns will probably go "Screw this place, the Sultana's dead, I'm outta here." Sadly, I heard that ARR stories and most of the ARR NPCs and job NPCs will remain the same to keep the 2.0's plot and have 3.0 NPCs do their roles in 3.0 contents. So they probably won't do it for another expansion.
  19. There are those kind of people who take IC issues to OOC issues and make it into a drama. But there are those kind of people who take IC issues into OOC issues, then make it into more than just a drama - by spreading unnecessary rumors and then make it more than just a simple deal. I've had several people who message me OOCly who tried to approach me awkwardly or weirdly and asked me if I was "okay" with eRP. I said no, and when people also confess to me, I still say no. I usually just change subjects, and if they start to aggravate me, I just tell them to just take a break between us. I don't blacklist them, and I don't witch hunt them. Whatever happened between me and that person is just the two of us. With that all said, I've shared my awkward situations with people ICly and OOCly before and even in real life. So I clearly understand when others do that to me. I just bluntly tell them that they need to speak casually. In the end, I still might say no to whatever that person asked me to do with them. If RP goes in a bad direction, I plan out and try to make a choice to see the alternative. If someone didn't PM me, then I take it as they don't intend to make it into OOC drama. But if I see myself in a position where I don't have any alternative options for myself, then I just end up telling the person OOCly to see what can be done to fix it. I don't get angry first, (I did several times on some ends when people make huge mistakes and didn't intend to ask me about anything). tldr, if you feel uncomfortable, then you just tell the person that you do feel uncomfortable in roleplaying or talking with him/her. If they still bother you, then you give them a warning or block them by blacklisting.

  21. I was putting myself as that Anelia would really fit for the following characters: Saber (Fate Stay Night) Saber Extra (Fate/Extra PSP game) as well as Setsuna F Seiei (Gundam 00) - due to the fact that she prefers to burden herself to become the chaotic hero. In the end, she's almost near to Liu Bei and Cao Cao from Romance of Three Kingdoms, to show benevolence and yet become a hero that people think of as a villain during chaotic times.
  22. I might be in on this. As of right now there is no 2nd delegate here. So you'd fill in my main.
