  1. Rinh is confrontational, blunt, incredibly stubborn and an obnoxious know-it-all, as well as having a rather frightening temper. And that's on a good day haha. I love that she's so flawed but manages to succeed in spite of, or perhaps even because of, those weaknesses.
  2. Bumping to see if anyone else has a Condor tribe Seeker!
  3. Hmm, Rinh might like to join this! Looks great. ^^
  4. Naih'ir is a great RPer and indeed a gentleman so you should all RP with him.
  5. Welcome aboard! I see a lot of Seeker RP on Balmung - in fact, folks in my linkshell had a cat gathering last night haha - so if you're struggling to find RP just add me to your friends list and give me a nudge. I can see if the rest of our Miqollective is about and wants to join in!
  6. Welcome! I love your character concept, that's brilliant!
  7. Any of those possibilities could certainly work! Add us to your friends list and we can get in touch.
  8. Hah, it just happened to me again last night. I typed "Evening" in linkshell and it disappeared into the aether. Wanted to add to the thread but they've locked it. Oh well, seems like they're looking into it now.
  9. I've had this bug before. I can't remember when exactly it's happened to me or the precise words I used, but I've posted to the thread.
  10. I'm the friend, T'yareth! We'd love it if others would like to join in for some RP, even if they want to merely say hello and not return to the tribe. ^^
  11. Welcome aboard! Either Balmung or Gilgamesh is fine for new players. I'll just say that I myself am completely new to the Final Fantasy series and not a legacy player but I've still found very welcoming people and lots of RP on Balmung. I don't know personally what Gilgamesh is like but I've heard they're very lovely too. It's up to you!
  12. Bumping to request more sign-ups for talent! If you can cast a few flashy spells, consider joining the magic act; if you have a flair for drama, help the theatre troupe! Just make sure you PM me or put your name down here so I know who's doing what on Saturday.
  13. Welcome! I also played GW2, on Piken Square, and after nearly a year I had to admit to myself that I was bored. So glad I gave the XIV beta a try and I'm sure you'll love it here too.
  14. Yup, definitely loved how dyes were implemented in GW2 as well. Would like to see that much freedom in this game.
  15. The RP seems very robust to me on Balmung but I'm also in a linkshell which we use as a LFRP channel. It's a rare night indeed when there isn't some RP going on, and even if there isn't, I find random RP scattered about the world as well.
  16. I think being originally nearby each other could definitely work! I think I already added you on skype but give me a nudge there or add me as a friend in game and we can hammer out the details.
  17. The backstory I had drafted for Rinh involved her growing up in the Shroud with her family and an undisclosed number (1-3 I would think) of other small families, living together as a clan. I never specified the exact number or the names so linking with your character's family and possible one or two others is definitely possible. But if you want to make the connections now, rather than have them be remnants of the past, that might be a bit harder for me to get it to make sense for Rinh's personality.
  18. That'll probably be because they aren't online. You can only add people if they're online. A bit annoying. If you're on now, I'll add you in a mo.
  19. I can respect both sides to be honest. I prefer to let things happen IC and suffer the consequences, both good and bad, but I've had friends who were having a really hard time in RL before and the last thing they wanted was RP to also blow up in their face. One in particular was going through a divorce when they were dumped IC too, ouch. Long story short, so long as it's not hurting anyone, I won't give someone a hard time about how they RP their romances.
  20. Oh my god, the draenei Disney princesses...!
  21. Yep, makes sense. Only thing I'm wondering is when do you usually play? Because I'm in EU time zones so I might not ever get in contact with you in game outside the weekends. If that's the case, it's probably not worth forging a connection if we only get to play rarely.
