I'd incorporate it into the RP! Use it as an alias and perhaps reveal your 'true' Duskwight name to only a select few? Or something else altogether! It's not too hard to find good RP reasons for it. I have a few friends who have made do very well with what might at first appear to be a non-RP name.

Ooh I've only been to the city a few times but I always stayed somewhere else and commuted in, did my sightseeing and went back in the late evening. I'll ask my sister tomorrow if she has any suggestions since she knows it better than me.

Nope, can't cross class it as a summoner. Haha it's an easy mistake to make. ^^

The nail on Ifrit can be difficult with an arcanist since most of our abilities are dots and you really need burst damage to down it fast enough. I pop Aetherflow and Energy Drain to give a bit more burst and managed it with two arcanists as dps. So yes, it's not as easy as say a thaumaturge, but it's still doable. Cleric stance increases damage by 10% and reduces healing by 20% so it doesn't really help swapping your intellect for mind that way. I've got both summoner and scholar and yes, all my points are in intellect, but with mind gear you can help make up the difference. I haven't tried any level 50 dungeons as a healer but managed up to Aurum Vale. Endgame is probably a completely different story however so if you plan on being a healer most of the time, I'd just reset your stats and dump them into mind.

Yup, I have shout turned off too because of gil sellers. Check the Linkshell Hall for RP linkshells or free companies. There's loads so I'm sure you can find something that'll suit your RP style and needs. And/or you can join one of the OOC linkshells; usually a good way to find RP too!
