Rinh's RP gear is pretty unremarkable. But I really want this.

I've posted a link to this time converter on today's event listing and will do so in future as well. You simply put in the time zone of the event (e.g. "BST") and it will automatically calculate the time in your time zone.

You aren't the only one who feels this way. I do, but for the opposite reason. My emotes tend not to be super detailed (I'm working on expanding them but old habits die hard) and seeing long ones really intimidates me! I think to myself, gosh, they must be an amazing RPer, I'd just be wasting their time. Also, in GW2, the folks with long, descriptive emotes and story driven RP seemed to avoid me and others in my guild who kept emotes shorter and tended towards spontaneous RP. I don't know if that was just a coincidence but it has made me feel even more anxious about approaching people with that RP style. What I do now is usually ask around in my linkshell to see if anyone's RPing and respond to strangers if they approach me. I'm still working up the nerve to approach others myself. So far RPers in this game have been quite friendly and open to outsiders but, like I said, I've been burnt before. Don't assume I don't want to RP with you if you RP around me but don't actually approach me; I'm most likely just too nervous to be the one that breaks the ice!

I've got "RPC member" in mine but I might just change that to "RPer" for people who aren't part of the RPC.

Yeah, I loved him too! He was also quite a few sylvari NPCs in GW2. Now that was a pleasant surprise when I clicked on them.

Yes, there's quite a few in Europa and Eorzean Union who are about in the morning and afternoon which would be evening for you.

Gideon Emery is Urianger in the English version. There was an article confirming it, as well as the other English actors, but it's been taken down. However, the comments seem to confirm it's the case. Plus, I'd recognise the voice of Fenris (DA2) anywhere haha.

They're both OOC so no worries there! We use the LS to do shout outs for RP and have had quite a few fun evenings RPing together now, even got some random RP from people passing by too. ^^

Welcome aboard! There is indeed both a linkshell and free company for EU players on Balmung! Europa is a linkshell for finding RP in our timezone and Eorzean Union is a free company for PVE/PVP. You can just ask myself or Taeh Marchand for an invite to the linkshell and apply via EU's website for the FC.

I. Basic Info Characters: Rinh Hallani, T'yareth Sehn Primary character: Rinh Hallani Linkshells: Europa Primary RP linkshell/FC: II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium to heavy. The bulk of my experience has been with player driven, dynamic RP rather than story driven and long plots but I've been experimenting with the latter and quite enjoying it! Views on RP combat and injuries: Fine as long as you come to an agreement on the result and extent of injuries beforehand, although I draw the line at character death. Views on IC romance: Open. I quite like romance and enjoy watching it blossom but it has to come naturally. If they're compatible and the attraction is mutual, it'll happen, eventually. I fade to black rather than ERP. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Open. None of my characters have family ties with other PCs at the moment but if an IC reason can be developed to change that, why not? Views on lore: Keep to it as best as possible but exceptions are fine as long as they aren't too far fetched. Creativity is appreciated! Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): /say and /em are IC, everything else OOC with the exception of /tell. /tell is usually OOC but if your character is within close physical proximity and I use speech marks around the text, it's an IC whisper. Myself and some other Europa members have met up in Costa del Sol a few times now and we've had others approach and join us. I wouldn't exactly call it a hot spot but seems there are RPers about for random RP there.

Hmm, the greenwrath disease could be of particular relevance to Rinh. Either way, I'm interested!

Definitely this. I don't tend to play overly powerful or special characters myself but they can generate some interesting RP for you to bounce off, if played well.

Welcome! Either Balmung or Gilgamesh is fine for a new player but I see you're from Denmark and we have some groups dedicated to EU players here on Balmung. Europa is for finding RP during EU peak times and Eorzean Union is a free company for PVE/PVP. If you decide to go on Balmung, give us a shout!
