That is the typical response for most people who don't understand or grasp the concept of RP. Oddly enough, I am actually probably a very young roleplayer, but been doing this online since I was 9-10 years old, with myself now being 23. I never understood, even when I was younger, why people had such a bad stigma against roleplayers, then again, I stare at some of my friends over on the MUSHes and try to understand what is there issue with the Furr community as well (along with confusing Furry with Anthro). I guess over time, like all things, someone starts a rumor, the rumor spreads, and then it becomes "fact" though its a false fact. Like-- Avatar's special edition in 3D having a sex scene.. WTH! It does not. ;;

Yeah, that drives me nuts at times as well, that you have to use the backspace, or shift + <-- in order to get stuff deleted. At least you can copy/paste stuff into the text.. >_>

/t = For tells /p = For Parties /l maybe /ls = for Linkshells (have yet to get one) /sh = Shouts /s = Says /em = Emotes also if you hit space bar, then press the up arrow key, you can move up past text messages you sent. It is the fastest way I know of how to reply to someone at current.

It has done that since closed beta. You just have to go in the configure and play on windowed if you want to browse webpages or do stuff in the background.

On the more funnier not, if Besaid does win... We started out on Jecht server, during closed Beta. This is where most of us gathered and even did a test run RP when there was no /em to use. it was some of our first encounters with one another in the game world, and had some crazy adventures along with it (like finding giant crabs of doom and getting crushed by massive salamanders). So, if Besaid does win, it is as if the FFX name was a calling to us of our destiny to rule over the FFX genre of names and thus claim it as ours! of coarse anything goes and I am being amused just by this change of events.

Here is a request from me: Could we all get along and stop whining, complaining, and going on like lost survivors on an island? Come on people! This is open beta, things will change 2-3 months when the game goes live, and we just need to stick to our guns. I support whatever the RPC chooses, I will go where ever the RPC goes. This is for the future of the roleplayers, for the future of this community, and for our enjoyment. So buckle up, sit back, and deal with whatever may come our way. We will shape whatever we get, populated or not, so long as your willing to keep your foot to the gas and moving forward. So again, could we all just get along and stop all this fussing, and maybe.. agree to disagree or something? Cause from an outside POV, this thread ain't lookin' to friendly.

They do realize that during Open Beta, all we get to hold over to live is our names yes? We will have to remake the characters again and we will have to do everything again. So to get to overly fussy on it is a bit silly. Don't forget Front Mission Evolved!

My friend (who is more into FF) says the safer servers to probably go to are Cornelia, Kashuan, and Gysahl, because.. 1) They are absurd names 2) They were from the old school FF, which mostly people are not familiar with. 3) and now a days, people think of Gysahl, they think of Chocobos (wark!)

Revote!! Or you pick Castiel! Besides I think only a /few/ of us are in the Open Beta at this point anyhow.

It wouldn't surprise me if they are having server issues, as that was one of the major problems in Closed Beta. There servers seem to have trouble with the amount of draw they are getting. This makes me wonder if they were not expecting this big or a crowd or a few hamsters decided to have a party, got a hang over and called off from work. >.>

That would be a fun project, creating FF14 racial curse words.

So, looks like Lindblum it is! Though I find it funny we started out on Jehct, which was FF10, and now its city is like, "Yeah, if you Roleplayers want to come back to the source, we are here." Now if they would hand out the passes again. *pokes the site*
