We are excited to announce that we have begun some smaller events out in the wide world of Eorzea. We can't wait to start getting our character plots mingling with one and another - Building those forever bonds and creating memories. I think with a fresh start this is what we are most excited about!

Our 30-day Goal: Filling out the spaces we have in our current Squads (Total of 12!) Hosting small Squad Based Missions. Hosting an event specifically for 'Oracle' Rank and above. Beyond 30-day Goal: Continue Hosting Squad Based Missions (Small 4 man events) Continue to Host small Oracle Rank and Above Missions Host Promotion Ceremonies (To highlight our members!) Run a Biweekly Main Story Event that will be impacted by key missions that are sometimes taken by our Squad leaders. Continue Recruitment if needed - Keep tabs on Activity and fill spaces where needed.

We have thrown up a few events this week already! First one of our 'Mentors' has organized a Squad Mission with one of her members (Squad Missions are just smaller events so people don't get overwhelmed by the massive ones we'll do biweekly), Second event this week is a Prelude Story Event which all members are invited to (A big event that invites all FC members to join in) and lastly we DO host a Pen and Paper Event weekly (Starwars Saga Edition) to connect with folks out of character and for those interested in such things. Things are on the up and up here at the Oracles!

The Oracles of Empyrean - We promise to introduce a side of Final Fantasy that has been explored but not very often. A side full of adventure, a side full of consequences, a side of thrills and your occasional spills. We are seeking people who enjoy Pen and Paper Games, Who enjoy structure but also enjoy being a team player not just another proper in some scripted story. Our Game Mastered Events have a purpose, have a general concept but its our players that will chart the course. While we may highlight a member here and there our events will be customized to give everyone a chance to stand brightly among the various stars as we venture forth to do good, to make mistakes and to journey to correct them. The Oracles of Empyrean are currently open for Recruitment! We currently have 12 slots available - Once our Squads are full (of active membership) we will temporarily close until we open more Squads in the future. For us our adventure is about the Journey, The Story Telling and making sure our community has an interconnected sense and urgency to it. Our First Thirty Day Goal is as follows: We plan to do things in small phases as to not rush the progress of our community but to also make sure parts of our community is solid and well structured. This said we have some pretty big goals planned for our Free Company and so with that said it'll be vital we for on a bunch of smaller pictures until the much larger one is fully formed. Our Thirty Day Agenda Recruit 3 Members for each Squad being Formed. There will be four Squads to start. Squad Missions will Commence - Days will be Set. If Members can't attend their Squad leaders Event they may communicate that with their squad leader so they can arrange to work with another squad for that week so they don't miss out! Missions that Squad Leaders will be able to take at first will be posted on the forums (Sundays event times will be posted up). Logs will be kept about the Mission and Attendance. Logs don't need to be long, Just Attendance & a brief summary of the outcome. After two weeks, Those of Oracle Rank + will have a mission every other week for themselves. This is meant to keep Squad Leaders connected with the Empyreans. After a Month we will host on the off weeks a Story Event that will include everyone at that time to build connectivity for everyone.

Norvalla is still recruiting and still operating with some wonderful adventures that delve deep into the world's mythos as well as its legends. If you want a company that'll utilize the backdrop of Eorzea as its stage and seeking a community that is story focused come check us out!

Another Sample of our Open World RP - S h a d o w s - o f - t h e - V a l e Attendance: Llanore Aldavaul, Jaghet Mortis, Gen Dothari, D'ein Nunh, Meiko Meiko, C'lyrah Exa, Visha Yasceret, Aleria Demora (Ryslo), Sehra Muril, E'tihl Tia, Bullet (Arnvidar Bekker), Sulwyn Bakuro Among the lands of Outer La Noscea there resides a Floating City - Ancient and imposing these ruins seem to provide the stark landscape of green's and browns with a beautiful spectacle of oranges and blues. The Aether among this region is abundant and the history rich and in-depth. There resides a Hovel, long forgotten and slowly in disarray where a lone female awaits a plea for her call - A single flare of help sent out to all members of Norvalla.. a voice that rings akin to one some knew sometime back. The voice has a desperate quality to it and one that seems wrought in despair. Will Norvalla assist this disembodied voice that sung across their pearl or ignore it and leave her to her fate. When they arrived at a small shack found at the edge of Outer La Noscea they would see Llanore & Yorah standing there. Yorah was more or less in a kneeling position. Her hair was wild, untamed whilst her eyes darted back and forth as if fear had consumed her very being. Her once pristine armor was caked in blood that was smeared across her chest plate, her weapons broken and in pieces and her skin shredded and torn along the edge. Her hair was tossed about in a wild fashion and there were scraps and scars upon her flesh at random intervals. Those who beheld her saw her as a differnt women they had known her to be when they first met her. Once enough had gathered she seem to find... no muster the strength to stand. She went on to explain: She would go on to talk about the /man/ that hunted her. How she couldn't stay in one place to long and that when she was taken she came to believe she was not the intended target someone else was. It was discerned that Sehra was the target that was intended but seem to satisfy itself with having Yorah at minimal. She also explained she escaped through the vale between both realms in Gyr Abania. She further explained that the emergence of Voidkin breaching into Eorzea seem to give her the chance to slip by. She also explained that she's been walking around for a long time.. and that a man that was once dead seems to have been revived. She could not go on any further until a hard pressed attack hit the Cabin everyone was sheltered in. The combat would be fairly easy in comparison to what Norvalla had already faced but among it.. fire was set to the shack and proved to be more of an obstacle then the enemies themselves. Once they cleared the area of all Hostiles including a Massive Demon of Fire.. they would note a man in white robes turning about when notice was given and walking out of sight soon afterward.

Figured I would share a small glimpse of the Project I'm working on for our Free Company. An in character perspective of the 'Lore' which will be extremly lore friendly but have a twist to introduce it to members of our free company as it is being written to provide an actual source for new members and old to comb through. I will be linking at the end of this pdf. my sources and references to back up the material within. Of course its also written with the assumption that my character does not know all and so there will be clearly things missing but will be added over time as more is organically learned. Just wanted to share details of our Season 1 Episode 8 Event! The Cast of Episode 8 Gamemastered by: Ryslo Suramlo Arnvidar Bekker Llanore Aldavaul Attendees: Jaghet Mortis D'ein Nunh C'lyrah Exa Naoh'li Lyehga Sulwyn Bakuro Visha Yasceret Sehra Muril Noir Ackerman Kaseko Zuma Katsuhiro Ishigaki Svana Farshield Meiko Meiko Norvalla met up at the Free Company House where Ryslo would explain the situation to each member and go briefly over the details of the three missions they'd be assigned to handle for the Grand Companies of Ishgard, Gridania and Limsa Lominsa. These three area's seeming to have a common thread - Undead Sightings. The following is a rough idea of what was stated in character: “While information is still being gathered on the two locations of the Fragments of Arnvidar Bekker - we still have work to do in Greater Eorzea. This evening we have three requests one from Gridania, one from Ishgard and lastly a request from Limsa Lominsa. Their forces are thinned and our recent activities against the paranormal seem to have garnished us a reputation in dealing with the abnormal and the a cult. While I typically would avoid what seems to be clearly mercenary work - I still can see the value in us handling the issue I'm about to go over. After all if we don’t these problems may have an adverse affect on those living in the aforementioned zones. Plus I could not help but to identify a common thread between these three requests and so I found my interest piqued.” “I have asked Mister Bullet and Miss Aldavaul to aid me in leading a team each to the separate zones. Mister Bullet will be spearheading a team of our own members to the Region of La Noscea - Specifically the ruins of a society that has long been toppled. The ruins are known as the ‘Floating City of Nyms’. The yellow jackets have come up with reports of strange apparition’s roaming the ruins. They describe these apparitions as having a lucid blue figure, cloaked and no larger than a Lalafell. Anytime they’d approach the apparitions seem to disappear from sight. They want us to investigate and see if there is something we can do to put these visions to rest or.. To calm to souls of those that seem unable to depart these lands. How we do this? I’m uncertain as they don’t seem to be voidsent but impressions of the past. Proceed with caution regardless and expect the unexpected.Mister Bullet will be responsible for writting the report but someone else may need to deliver it to the Yellow Jackets in Limsa Lominsa due to his affiliation with the Empire.” “Meanwhile Miss Aldavaul’s group will be heading to Coerthas, North of Dragonhead to the old tomb markers of fallen warriors. It seems Ishgard too had dispatched a small squad to investigate the area due to reports of grotesque figure’s breaching the snow caps. When they arrive they don’t note any such thing but they also can’t dedicate a considerable amount of focus on the task due to the war efforts that are being conducted along the Garlean and Alliance lines. They need us to camp the location for a bit, see if we can witness this ourselves and if we do - Contend with it. Report your findings to Ishgard upon completion - This can be left up to Miss Aldavaul.” Ryslos Write Up Having met up with everyone back at the Free Company House - I arranged a group of 4 individuals to work alongside me in the shroud to go and check out the area just outside the ruins of Amdapor Keep. These ruins are a stark reminder of a bygone era when war between multiple kingdoms nearly toppled the world - where conflict nearly drained our star of all it’s Aether and a reminder that our Star has a means to defend itself. When the group arrived in Quarrymill it was abuzz with it’s typical atmosphere comprised of various adventurer’s and merchants that frequented the woods. The group of Norvalla members took stock of the situation before proceeding out into the thickets of the woods beyond the tall wooden Palisades of Quarymill’s rampart. As they pressed through the thickets of overgrowth they crossed a narrow channel of water and entered the ruins rather swiftly. Walking into its confines they would see among the ruins a figure draped in white. It’s head slightly turned behind itself as it noticed the small group in approach - It would then turn about and walk forward entering a small portal of swirling black energy that was touched briefly by a hew of purple arcane light. They had no chance to interact with the figure as it faded from sight. Instead they were immediately greeted by the sound of cobblestone’s being pushed apart as thin bony appendages pressed out between the slabs of rock and dirt - arms would eventually breach the surface followed by the cloaked forms of the undead. As six of these monstrous figures emerged rising anywhere from 5 fulms 7ilms to 6 fulms 4ilms. Each armed with crude rusty scimitar minus two who had been armed with bladed polearms giving them considerable reach. Combat commenced quickly but thankfully the group was well organized and worked together to push back the threat. Once the enemies cleared and the dust settled the group took a moment to recoup and started their trek back to Gridania where the success and report of the mission was given. Llanores Write Up Tasked with going North of Dragonhead in Coerthas to seek out the truth behind the rumors of disturbances at the old tomb markers of fallen warriors, the team of five (5) would make the trek into the unforgivable terrain. Enroute to the tombs they found the path lead them through the ruins of an old set of dilapidated buildings that were obviously once grandiose. Passing through the ruins a sudden, deadly chill, encompassed them. The team found themselves questioning what they thought they saw within the round stone hall. Each was certain they had seen the visage the back of a person bearing Ephemeral White robes disappearing into a swirling shadow of black. Since all had seen it they were sure it had happened. This however was merely another aspect of their mission to report. With the form gone, they turned their attention back to the gravesite. Pairing up Naoh’li with Sulwyn, Llanore sent the pair to investigate two of the stone markers to the right. D’ein and Jaghet were assigned the left marker. Llanore disappeared for a bit as the two teams looked over their marks. It was D’ein that first discovered any form of disturbance in the snow, indicating activity in the immediate area. Naoh’li found that the topmost rock, on the site he was inspecting, was oddly out of balance yet did not fall. But it was as Sulwyn was showing interest in another of the sites that the rock atop this stone mass would begin to rock back and forth then topple. The teams found themselves unwelcomed by the mummified residents of the site. Rising from the snowcovered ground, the mummies made their way toward the separate teams. The slow movement of the first two Mummies, made targeting them relatively easy. I would like to make note here that both teams showed tremendous ingenuity to fell their foes. As Sulwyn and Jaghet used their weapons and brute force, Naoh’li had chosen to try out some new items he had come across, FRUIT. One such fruit would crack open and spill a slippery goo that caused two of the 3 enemies, on their side, to fall making vanquishing them much easier. On the other side D’ein chose to catch one of the rib bones that Jaghet had dislodged, using it as a dagger to split the skull of one of the Mummies.

Norvalla will be hosting Episode Six of our First Season of Story Related events. If your interested in comprehensive stories that intertwine everyone's characters into something that is living, breathing and reactive then come check us out! Last evening we did a Research event where our members got a chance to learn about 'Lore' but in a interactive way and specifically in a way that encouraged them to look up information that would interest their characters. We strongly believe that RP should be an experience not one you have to be forced to look up (lore) so we went to the Thaumaturgy Guild and each person looked up a book and its content. Providing details through whispers as if they were reading actual books everyone would after being sent extensive tells share what they learned which allowed everyone get a glimpse not only at Lore but what other members interests are. It was a fun evening, even if slow. Norvalla is an Open World Adventuring Group that utilizes the landscapes that Square Enix has provided us. We are an active community with about 15 to 20 people on per event and run with anywhere from 2 to 3 game masters to keep things small, simple and engaging.
