Aya made a special RL-related request to go first, so I have honored it, but I can move the rest of the order around if our performers would like. I may be adding myself in with a duet performance if I can get it working properly by tomorrow.

Fair question - here's the basic process.

 

/gpose will make your character do the last pose/emote he or she did, in synch with anyone else you are nearby and partied with.

 

So, each person in the party would do the /harvestdance, then stop it, and then one member enters "/gpose". You will get a special cam view of the group all doing the emote at once and in synch, and if it is a dance, it will continue as it has been. You can hit your Escape key to get out of the cam view and back into normal game view, and it will not interrupt the dance.

 

However, be aware that the Harvest Dance covers different amounts of ground depending on your character's size. A Lalafell doing the dance moves left to right just a bit, and a Roegadyn takes up a lot of space, and may bump into nearby people.

Massive, massive thanks to all who came out, audience and performers alike. We had a record number of bards, this time, and some unbelievably good acts. I can't wait to see what you can all do for next month's show.. When we reveal the theme! Stay alert for the announcement in the days to come.

For me this was a great time, the setting was all cosy and I think concentrated the feelings. Great acts, wonderful audience, awesome event.

Deffo a great night all round!  Fun was had, both in the party chat, and watching the collective performances A big thanks to everyone who made it so enjoyable.

 

(Also gave me a chance to mess around with the /icam command (Fantastic command, that one!  Thank you Square ), and depth of field focal points.  Might have missed a few things while tweaking the mediator.)

This made for a rather interesting first event.  I got to make a few contacts and generally had a good time of it.  Maybe next time I'll pull a story or two out.

 

The stories and songs were great, and it was quite smoothly run.

I loved the idea of this event, and the performances I saw were so terrific! I'm sorry I had to leave early
