I ended up caving in and downloading yesterday.

Ran into a pidgeot down the street today. Wasted all 30-something balls to catch the jerk, but he didn't wanna get caught (and still getting used to the flicking).

Caught a Kingler later on, made me feel better.

Yeah, I had that happen with a Pidgeot early on in the week.

ALSO! Had the game mess up and so I couldn't click on anything... so I missed a chance at a couple of Meowths went out at lunch.

 

Plus side, I've evolved a few Pokes and my Doduo is coming along nicely. I just wish the game wouldn't always seem to have problems or get clogged up when I'm near the train station that has all dem Doduos for my candies.
