Error 3 Redeeming Issue

For those who were able to register without issue. Is anything underneath your Square Account (the one where you setup payment and such), showing anything different?

I registered my code correctly (if I try to do it again, I get a 'code is already in use' message). But I never got a confirmation email, nor has anything changed on my account management page.

Yea that found it, yea no options for payment or anything yet, but it does say FFXIV under "Active Service Accounts" so I just assume that means we're all kosher.

Where do you see that, 'Active service accounts'? I see FFXIV under my account, but the registration on it is when I signed up for 1.0 (2010).

I have FFXIV under my Active Services too. I wasn't in 1.0 and I still have not been able to input my 18 digit code.

When I click on 'select service' and the FF14 image it brings up the "On this page you can perform various actions on FINAL FANTASY XIV service accounts" and the "code registration is currently unavailable" page, and then right under that it lists Active Service Accounts and Cancelled Service Accounts, FFXIV is listed under the active part.

This is a fresh account too, not my old 1.0 one. When I go to my profile proper it also listed FFXIV as registered (oddly it's dated as registered yesterday though?)

Thanks for this! My FFXIV is registered as active, but still holds my old 1.0 registration date (like I mentioned before). However on the other Square site, it shows as registered for today. SO confusing!

What if you got a RAAE code though? how do you fix that? if i may ask as my account is an NA one

Input your code again into the site (as if you never entered it in the first place).

I had that problem and reentering it got me the correct region code.

If anyone is still getting the Error 3 problem, I found this on the Beta forums - it might help.

"What finally worked for me was editing my profile settings. Basically, after going to the pre-order code entry site and picking your language, it asks you to log in. After you log in (you may need to fill in some information) it'll take you to the code entry page.

Instead of entering the code, I clicked my newly chosen handle in the upper right corner of the page. That displayed a drop down, and I clicked the "My Profile" option. That took me to the profile details page.

I filled in the information there and noticed that my language was set to English (UK). I changed that to English (US), saved my information, went back to the pre-order page, and was able to enter in my code without any problems."

I was still getting the Error 3 this morning even though a lot of other people seem to be getting through just fine. After doing the above it actually fixed it for me.

I don't know if that's helpful for anyone else, but I thought it wise to share it on anyway; just in case.
