Player Housing RP Wards?

So...in previous live letters it's been said that personal housing was going to be released in 2.38. Though square still has yet to release ANY patch notes *grumble grumble*. So I have no idea if personal housing is going to be like FC in that there will be wards with community lots, or if its going to be a crappy instance thing (lets hope not!)

 

But assuming it's a ward with lots system, I think it would be nice to get the RP community into specific wards. As I said before we don't know how exactly it will pan out, how many wards etc. BUT I'll go ahead and toss out that I'm going to try and get into Ward 3 of Gridania IF it exists. Any other roleplayers are welcome to join me

Personal housing is just guild housing that you personally buy.  They were lying from the first about the personal housing.  They never worked on it.

One additional unsheathed weapon idle pose has been added.

Use the /changepose emote with your weapon drawn, and your character will assume a new pose while holding his/her weapon.

If I read it correctly, they are just adding two new wards of FC housing. The "personal housing" part is that now individuals can buy FC houses at the same cost an FC would normally spend.

They made it seem like this could be a really great surprise. Being so hush-hush and so vague had people getting their hopes up for something really beautiful and fantastic. People from the other FC houses in my ward were saying things like "I worked and saved 2.5 million, hopefully that's more then enough!". Or 1 million. Or 1.5 million.

 

No, kittens. Best save up for an FC house. Because if 20-30 people can't raise 25+million for their houses and expenses, that must mean as a person should be set to those standards.

Don't really care right now.  they should have been more transparent with us instead of feeding us an ice wall and not telling us what they were actually going to do.  And I really don't give a shit if you think it's okay because "I had the wrong info."  This entire thing is bullshit.  And it shuts a lot of people who were looking forward to this specific thing out of it entirely.  People like me, who have been working for well over a month to scrape together enough money to actually get a personal house.  I'm extremely disappointed.

So not happy about this. I was really looking forward to the personal housing. In the beginning, I didn't run out and join a rp Free Company because myself and a few friends were working on our own Free Company in the hopes of getting a place we could use as family housing. We decided against it when they starting talking about personal housing, on top of the fact that within hours of adding more wards, all the small houses were taken.

 

At this point, I'm done. Guess I'll just get one of the little apartments attached to whatever rp guild I end up joining. At least that is a guarantee.
