Whee, all of the weddings~! \o/

I'm still trying to pick out colors and things. @,@ Also getting the $40 plan. This is the first time I'm having a character go through an actual wedding on-screen, so we're going ALL OUT.

(Still peeved Astrid won't get to be Utena in a sexy tux, but y'know... Whatever, SE...)

My first time having a character get married, too! Let's pull out all the stops! \o/

You can't say you have had a normal childhood if you haven't watched Bambi!

Thank God I can just remember references. I can hardly remember a movie I could stay awake or sit down long enough to watch as a kid. I don't know how anyone put up with me.

I'm just mostly ecstatic that I finally got to see the inside of the Sanctum. It has been one of my favorite landmarks in game since I first discovered it, and I've always been itching to see what it was like. It makes me feel oddly nostalgic. I do hope we are able to enter and exit at will, or else perhaps I won't have the heart to go through the ceremony!

As boring as I usually find fetch quests, it was oddly fun to do with someone I truly love. That, and it showcased a lot of nice scenic areas that may be nice for RP!

Has anyone else looked at the bracelet after you accept the quest? I thought it was a nice touch that where they typically put the crafter's name, it has the name of your betrothed.

And it'll be such a fun adventure to go to each mark of the Twelve!!!

This alone makes me kinda sad Merri probably won't ever get married. At least, not unless he actually meets a lady he clicks with. The last (and only) time he made the pilgrimage to the twelve stones, it was to pray in final desperation alongside his friends as the world approached it's apparent end. Think it'd be fun to have him basically retrace his steps, only out of love and happiness instead of desperation and distress. Would really bring his character development full circle from the events of the calamity~

Anyhow, I thought it was so awesome that they tied the wedding ceremony into the same exact thing we did at the end of 1.0.

I heard about that! When me and my friend were tinkering with it this morning we were remarking how it would be an extra bonding experience for the couple to do this together. I could even see it being a trek done with others: like the 'wedding party' group. The 'bride' and 'groom' could pray first, and the others could come forward next.

Lots of possibilities with it really.

It's also interesting to think of how my characters would treat it as individuals.

M'subi would think of it as a field trip (fucking child lol).

Xelra would find it to be rather spiritual and private.

Lili would want to share in the experience with others as an experience to bond not only with her betrothed but with those she holds dear as well.

Oh, wow, the quest has you visiting prayer sites that tried to stall Dalamud at the end of 1.0? Oh man...

Yes. Yes, confirmed--Steel would be a blubbering mess of a woman. Her first husband was killed at Carteneau, so visiting those places where people tried to stop it all would bring on a feel tsunami.

...oh lawdy. Lawdy lawd, DAMN my story priorities for not leaping in to marriage instantly. But Steel needs to bide her time and find that right person.

The dress doe....those feels.

Hnnnngghhhh T^T

How do I comment on there only being like, one or two people ICly Warren would even think about inviting without sounding like I'm whining? I'm not whining, but the statement comes off that way.

Hah! A small ceremony. What you can do is invite people out of character to just spectate, if you wish! I plan on doing that if any of my boys get hitched.

I WANT TO BE AT ALL THE WEDDINGS/BONDS OOCly.

Kage's only been invited to one ICly.

But then again of all the announced people doing it ICly, they're about the only ones he knows ICly.

At all.

I just want all the pretty things OK! Sometimes a girl wants the pretty things!
