No sire? Well, I could make an immaculate conception joke, but I won't - I'll just welcome you to the community and wish you the best! I'm also very much new to the final fantasy multiverse and I just have to say - take it slow. It's a lot to take in but once you grasp the repeating themes. It's quite easy to grasp. 

 

 

Role playing in game for the first time can be a bit of a rush, but so long as it's not in a super crowded area, it shouldn't be too hard! I wish you luck.

I, too, didn't play that much Final fantasy. What got me into it was Kingdom Hearts and then I fiddled with Dissidia: Duodecim, 10, and seen and played a bit of 13 before I finally got my hands on this game (and a better laptop~)

 

It's true, I admit that it doesn't feel that immersing considering the limitations of what you can and cannot do with the character as well as what they can or cannot do towards or onto another character at that. That's where visualizing and imagining the act and putting that into rp (and maybe move your toon to an appropriate position) comes into play and it's up to the players to have that character react to it too)

 

But regardless, I'm sure that you'll be just fine. You'll certainly get your kicks from this game and all, believe me =) Feel free to say hi to me if you see me!

 

"May the path in the light of the crystal" be filled with many memories and experiences!
