I just wanted to clarify when start time is 3pm is that in EST? (I am gonna be 100% honest and I totally did not go back and look at the initial post) I might be able to offer Poe's services as a judge if that is still needed, I just wanted to check the time.

I just turned 32 myself. I played table top rp games back in high school but once I hit college and grad school, I didn't play as often. Plus I was a little wrapped up running endgame stuff on XI and WoW during that time. I have always done creative writing though, and kept my stories going. Shifted into rp in the last few years and now it's my bread and butter when it comes to playing mmo's :bouncy:

I had to think this one over a bit. I picked my top 3 influences with the understanding that I wanted Poe's experience of feeling dischord with her Mito'qe culture being the driving force for her venturing out from her family. Leeloo (besides loving her hair, even if they aren't totally legit dreads, I appreciate them!) Chiyo (Sayuri's child name) is another influence. While I do look toward her transformation as she matured and became a Geisha, it's her child persona that I truly draw from. Sam (Natalie Portman from Garden State) I love someone not afraid to truly be themselves!

I love this idea! I apologize if you explained this in your post and I missed it - are you going to be a linkshell or a free company? I just ask because Poe needs friends of all sorts for her job as a merchant and I would very much love her to have some close associates with this background (Hey - you never know who can help find some illegal items! ) I look forward to rping with you!! :bouncy:

My job involves playing music daily - so I got several instruments under my belt, first and foremost a vocalist, but also play piano, guitar, ukelele, cello, trumpet, drum sets and African hand drums.

Hoping with phase 4 streaming into early access I will get some leveling done prior to launch as I will be gone the week of release - but! I shall be back for Sunday! I am very willing to provide crafted items, as long as I get far enough along to do so! Anyone else have early access? Hoping I can connect with someone then about providing goods for the event

I use music in almost everything I do, so I love creating character soundtracks and use them for inspiration when I rp. This is a great one for my character, Poe cb61AVsxD34

I like this idea - I think a low key place for rp'ers to meet and see each other is a great way to break the ice

Basic Info Characters: Poe Lhyzeal [Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon] Primary character: Poe Lhzeal (Primary RP job - Poe is best described as a 'Mender' - similar to a shaman, tribal beliefs that she has been gifted to not only mend others but commune with nature and have control over plants and wind. - After leaving her tribe, she had a strong background in trade and gardening, she has become a closet Somnus dealer of sorts) Primary RP linkshell: Black Lotus II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Light to medium - I consider myself casual - some days I will be pretty tied up with work and be unable to log in, so I am a big fan of keeping rp rolling over skype. If you are interested, please send me a message! I usually try to set aside one or two evenings a week to get some RP in. Views on RP combat and injuries: Open to it - I do feel pretty strongly about people having choice over whether their character is killed...but injured, understandable - the game lends itself to a number of ways for one to recover from such injuries. Views on IC romance: I am all for it - it often ends up in my storyline unintentionally. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Love it! I don't usually RP my characters with family ties (though open to it if someone has a great idea!), but friends are what get my character's by in many ways. Views on lore: I do my best to be aware of lore and read up on it, but we are all human and sometimes we might miss something or not recall. Not the end of the world! I try to honor it. Excellent - then it would appear Poe will be available with her hand selected goods and material on both Gilgamesh and Balmung!

I have requested my 1.0 toon to be transferred there. If timing works out, I would love to have a mirror copy on Balmung so I get to dabble in both communities. I did want to edit my 1.0 appearance - has it been confirmed if that will possible at release?

Hello everyone - getting excited for the upcoming launch! --MMORPG background FFXI for 6 years then moved onto WoW, have dabbled in SWTOR, Rift, Aion, GW2, played for a short time during 1.0. --RP experience I didn't roleplay back in XI, but started rping about three years ago in Wow, I have come to really enjoy it and it gets a lot of time when I am playing. --Character ideas/info While I am transferring my 1.0 character over to Balmung, I am planning on my main server to be Gilgamesh. My character, Poe Lyzeal, a female Keeper of the Moon, will primarily be roleplayed as a botanist, fisher and merchant of wares she creates. --How did you learn about the coalition? Internet search for potential RP groups --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? I always label myself as a 'casual' rper, but I think of that more due to time constraints. During the week, I don't often give more than an hour an evening to rp, so I often pre-arrange rp time for weekends when I have a much more flexible schedule. Under the definitions posted - I guess it would be easier to just say medium for now! --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I have a career as an art/music therapist, so my work weeks tend to be long - which is why I love rp to allow for my brain to have a break from the tough real life stuff I watch and listen to daily. I am a musician as well
