Eve Malusion

My main issue at the moment is the quick targeting for enemies on a gamepad is targeting carbuncles as well. I'm continously de-targeting, running up to the enemy and retargetting it because if I don't I will just select carbuncles.

Just a refresher on what I said, if you get it to register your name as "taken" it eventually (like 10-15 minutes later) stops doing that, so you're not completely screwed.

So I made my character, it asked if I wanted to start a new game with it, I pressed yes, then got an error. It is not available in my selection but when I try to make a new character with the name I get told the name is now taken, so I think it still got registered...

Ok I got in finally. Just kept relogging over and over, think I got into NA/EU on around try 50? And when I finally make the character I get a new lobby error and get booted again *sigh*. Yeah I had 2 service accounts, no idea what it means but I selected number 1.

Managed to log out and back in again, still not getting NA/EU servers.

Well at least I can look at my characters in different job outfits untill the servers come up.

So I'm getting in and it is telling me to select a service account between FFXIV 1 and FFXIV 2, anyone know what that means?

I have dinner prepared for all 3 days for the first time in over a week, does that count? Cause the prospect of food that isn't bread with nothing on it is quite exciting to me right about now.

Just a general word of warning, resuming the download is not working for everyone so I would suggest not restarting the launcher untill it is done unless absolutely necessary.

I'm with others on either going with Michael or Mikhail, or something of the sorts. Though I would just leave that as a lore background thing and still put Mike on my character, if you want people to go by it even OOC, and then just explain it IC if it ever comes up. If you're going to be introducing yourself as Mike it seems simpler that way to me. Personally I'm using a stage name that doesn't follow naming convention at all, but I have an IC name following the convention and a background reason to follow it, and I'm obsessed with unified branding; how else can people find me that I knew from other games! My view of things might be influenced by having a grandfather that used his nickname the entire time to the degree that I literally didn't know what his real first name was before he died.Though they still used his nickname rather than real name in the funeral.

I was going to try Mercenary Kings, because it looks like Metal Slug and Monster Hunter combined, which are 2 game franchises that I love. ...then my isp blocked steam's ip... now I do nothing and it seems like this will be going on untill phase 4 has already started... As for Dark Souls, tried it, got to Quelaag before my first death, then quit because everyone called me a liar when I wanted to brag and I saw no point in playing it aside from bragging rights, or I burned out, I'm not sure, but I think the vain reason sounds more likely. I'm also one of the surprisingly (to me anyway) small amount of people that actually really liked Kingdoms of Amalur.

Correct.. Though it may be a little annoying, cause you'll most likely have to manually input it in the launcher so it can download. Message me if you have any questions about that, I remember doing that for 1.0 CBT.. I'm a little hazy on that but hopefully I can be somewhat helpful. I'll keep an eye out for a torrent release and make a thread for it if no one beats me to it. Well I already found some, I just don't want to post them untill I know if it is legit. I'm also a cynical skeptic so it will take some time before I feel confident in anything torrent related being legit.

Can you help a dumb newbie who just woke up and post a link to where you did that? I can't it was in the launcher my friend, I'm sorry. I was skimming through the clicks and I saw something about registering a code (I could be wrong I skipped it really fast.) Trying to figure out someone who actually say that page and can tell me what it said actually. I personally don't think it is the pre order code input.. I believe that is on the 20th. If you missed it I might as well say it again. That is where you put in the authenticator code, I'm pretty sure. Oh you saw that while I was writing this... quick... think of something else to put in this post... Argh, rargh and other sounds symbolizing anger at how slow the download is and questioning why they would use direct transfer than rather torrenting it when that is both less efficient and more expensive for them! It is a bummer. How long do you have to wait to download it? I have roughly 400minutes.. So thats about 6 hours or so? Not bad.. I was expecting a overnight thing going on. I have... 50 hours. Hopefully it will pick up some momentum eventually, because there is really no excuse for it being that slow on my connection.

All I saw was where you put in the one time code from the authenticator if you have one of those. As expected the download is going extremely slowly from so many people though.

Hurray feedback... on that the forums are congested from so many people complaining about a lack of feedback. I feel like you could probably solve that problem by taking a different approach to what to give feedback on.

Yeah, they've been getting slower and slower the longer it takes. Guess for once I'm not the only one just sitting around refreshing forums all day.

As far as I understood from the japanese feedback, it is supposed to be up already but is suffering issues with a windows update or something like that.

As for specific ones I can't really help you since I have yet to find one myself. Personally I'm from Norway so just an hour off of your time zone, I don't really know about everyone else.

PC version is larger though, due to higher quality graphical assets and such.

I don't really know how the attributes work, but as far as I remember it was implied in live letter that you would want int as a summoner and mind for scholar. I can't source it or double check since it's not uploaded yet, though, so I'm going purely on memory for that. However it was very heavily implied that you would want different attributes for scholar and summoner. Also, from the datamined info that we aren't really supposed to discuss, it looked like arcanist was purely dps, the only heal they had was for their pet.
